I was kinda wondering if you could maybe give a little tips or guidance on how you color the manga panels and what app/software you use? Totally understand if you don't wanna

hi love!! thank you so much that really means a lot!! 🖤 as for what i can offer, this isn't going to be the best bcos i'm not the greatest at summarising or any sort of step by step stuff ( little too adhd brained ! ) but i learned how to colour from my best friend with this tutorial https://faeriiess.tumblr.com/post/650187102693343232/as-has-been-requested-by-people-here-is-a-tutorial ( which might be a little old now but it's still a good start off ! ) and then started to sort of figure out what worked for me and didn't. i use firealpaca and honestly only like three main brushes which would be pen, watercolour and textured / blending watercolour. i'm honestly still working out a lot, figuring out what i like and don't like when i colour, but that tutorial is a very good start up guide!

i think my biggest tips are just don't be afraid to use a lot of layers. sometimes doing the background first is good for picking colours in the main colouring. pinterest is great for colour palettes and highly recommend creating a folder for those palettes. edit it first in photoshop or photopea if you want to tone down any of the grey areas in a colouring ( use the levels function and mess around with it ! )

my biggest tip though. the most important one.... don't be like me and have 50 wip at the same time that never get done.. it's really an awful way of doing it and why i only get one colouring out a month i swear o.o
