The thing about Dr. Graham in Field of Dreams is that he told Ray he would not give up being a doctor for anything and he meant it (literally "Son, if I'd only gotten to be a doctor for five minutes... now that would have been a tragedy." and Burt delivered his entire soul into that line). In his obituary it talks about how he made sure that no child went without, in both necessities and wants; he just quietly made sure their bottles of milk or eyeglasses or a ticket to the game was paid for. Moonlight Graham showed up on the pitch and got his dream, but when Karin was choking, he barely hesitated crossing out of the baseball field.

(I personally always imagined his hesitation was fear of the unknown, but then he realized he did know what would happen--he'd be a doctor once he stepped out of the baseball diamond. And he was happy to be a doctor, even if he wondered about what his life could have been.)

When Ray realized what happened, he was the one who apologized, as if it was his fault Karin was choking and Moonlight had to become Dr. Graham to save her. Dr. Graham was never sorry. For five more minutes, he was a doctor, and that was more important than the baseball he could have kept playing. And the other ball players respected him more for it. And while their respect meant a lot to him, obviously, Dr. Graham didn't look back when he went into the corn. He didn't need it like he might have thought he did.

Dr. Archibald Graham's character was SO important in this movie. (It is kind of weird to me that they chose. Like. An actual real person for this character. But maybe that's what made his character so real.) unique.

im huge fan of the idea of Dave not being trapped in the airship because of RHM or Reginald but because the of the Mayor, because he may have caught Dave eavesdropping the mayor's talks with the toppat clan or accidentally walking into the scene of the Mayor attempting to stealing the diamond.... Molly’s soft-focus cocktail music conjures up visions of classic Hollywood jazz clubs, Italian cinema soundtracks and lingering embraces between lovers. After the exotica stylings of The Forgotten Edge EP and the tropicalia-indebted Mirage EP, Molly wanted to encapsulate the sound of Café Molly for her debut album On The Lips, a dreamy tribute to classic mood music. That spellbinding sound, which usually comes to life in Los Angeles, has also popped up in Mexico City dancehalls, graced the runways of Paris and London Fashion Weeks, and made a magical appearance at a children's fairyland. Molly Lewis’s love for this smoky corner of the world doesn’t end with her songwriting. She is a devotee and an archivist, capturing and enlivening the pieces that endure. She was a regular at the legendary shows by Marty and Elayne, the lounge duo who spent almost 40 years playing LA’s Dresden bar. The duo came to global fame after an appearance in 1996’s Swingers and kept going long after that spotlight faded, finally finishing their nightly residency after the death of Marty at the ripe age of 89 last year. “That felt like the end of an era,” says Molly. But there are still flashes of that world to be found, and she finds them. “I’ve been spending a lot of time in New York lately, where there are a lot more of those moody, classic jazz bars,” she explains. Over the past few years Molly has flexed her one-of-a-kind musical skill alongside Mark Ronson on the Barbie soundtrack, as well as with Dr Dre, Karen O, actor John C Reilly, Mac De Marco, fashion houses Chanel, Gucci and Hermes, and folk rock royalty Jackson Browne. After a performance with longtime friend Weyes Blood on Burt Bacharach’s The Look of Love during a Café Molly evening at LA’s Zebulon, Molly supported the singer on a US tour, introducing her sound to a brand new audience. “I forget sometimes that what I do has that factor of surprise and uniqueness – it is something that most people have never seen before,” says Molly. She too might never have entered the idiosyncratic world of whistling had she not as a teenager seen the 2005 documentary Pucker Up, which details the International Whistling Competition. Equally amused and bemused by the eccentric event, in 2012 she competed herself. Spending her early twenties in Berlin she then moved to LA to work in film – and returned to the contest in 2015 to take home first prize. One evening Molly did a turn at an open mic at the Kibitz Room, a tiny late-night bar inside historic LA deli Canter’s. Her display led to appearances at performance art happenings across the city, and she soon caught the ear of independent record label Jagjaguwar. On The Lips was recorded with producer Thomas Brenneck of the Menahan Street Band, Budos Band, Dap-Kings and El Michels Affair, at his newly-built Diamond West Studios in Pasadena. The pair bonded over the work of 1960s soundtrack composers Alessandro Alessandroni and Piero Piccioni, and, with something of an open door policy during the sessions, a stream of acclaimed musicians ended up across the album’s 10 tracks. My au

So i feel like an explanation is needed just in case.

Basically

My reginald was an orphan and was adopted by I think his name is Reynold. Or 'The brute' and terrance killed him making reginald mad and later on got revenge for his father, reginald killed terrance with RHM (who I'll explain in a sec).

My RHM was born a girl (he's trans) and his uncle was right hand man to reginald's adopted father. RHM hated being a girl so decided he wanted to be a male. He cut his hair wore masculine clothes. Yeah. I think you get it. RHM's uncle died to the government and RHM became Right Hand Man (RHM was terrance right hand man at a young age, but obviously fought against him as reginald was his best friend) RHM voted reginald as leader and so did the others.

Sven svenson was abandoned on the streets and reginald adopted him with RHM (reginald and rhm have a close relationship, it's like dating kinda but it's not official, yet) and sven grew up with reginald and RHM hence why he's a high ranking member. And the next leader after Reginald and RHM.

Burt Curtis was born in the toppat clan.His parent hid burt from the clan so burt didn't really know how to properly show his emotions one day RHM (who absolutely hated the Curtis family due to a reason) killed his parents out of anger, RHM discovered Burt. Burt hated RHM at first but then realised it was good as his parent were actually neglecting him. RHM along with reginald also helped Burt although they didn't adopt him as he had an older sister who did most of the work with burt. She unfortunately died making burt really sad although he was a young adult. (she died of cancer) burt then became a communication 'manager/leader' or whatever he is in the clan and basically he has emotions but only anger and sadness. As he never really learnt any other emotions.

Ellie rose was born into a theif family and she always wanted to become the best theif in the world. She did many great heist with her family and their gang but one day she got separated as her family got caught and the gang ran away to another country. Ellie continued her stealing until she became 'most wanted' one day she got caught and locked up in the wall. Meeting henry stickmin. And yeah I think you know the rest.

Henry stickmin was born into a poor but loving family. He had a happy childhood. He also has a younger brother (Evan). Although once he became 15 everything changed. His mother was killed when coming home form work. The father found out and was very sad. (I know you've probably heard this a million times) but yes his father went to acohol although he wasn't abusive. One day he committed suicide when henry was 19. Due to Henry's (kinda) young age his brother got tooken to another family and henry ran away to another city. He found a scruffy apartment and became fascinated with stealing and diamonds and all that. Then it basically just starts from the Robbing the bank or whatever it's called in thsc

Charles Calvin also had a loving family. Until his little sister was born who was a complete brat and she faked like being hurt and yeah all that. He got sent to the army at a young age. Sir General hubert had a son who died in an accident and Charles reminded him of his son so general adopted him. Charles and Rupert Price were like siblings growing up although Rupert wasn't adopted by general. And he grew up and Charles was fascinated by the helicopters and all that and he basically did a bunch of training and stuff and became a government pilot. Rupert became a soldier. Charles was always giddy and happy and stuff like that. Then obviously one day he met henry. Again. You know what a happens next I'm sure. Also the triple threat are dating. Sorta. It's official but they're all nervous about it. (idk)

So, an idea for an episode: they kind of need to address the whole "Pink Diamond OWNED Spinel" thing at some point. Because Spinel needs to learn that she is her own person and that it's not okay for someone to own someone else. Like I can just imagine at some point she introduces herself as "Pink Diamon's Spinel", someone asks if that's the name of her planet or city or something, and she goes "No silly, she's my owner!" Cue awkward silence as Wander and Sylvia have to finally address it.

I imagine that this would still be rather early in the timeline. Like maybe even pre-poof, but definitely pre-Dominator as this would just be more fuel for that fire when she finally burts.

That's true, it's definitely something that would need its own episode to address.

Now, Spinel had a bit of a different view of her relationship to Pink than most gems, she saw herself more as Pink's best friend than as her possession, but still acknowledges that she belonged to Pink. All she wanted was to make Pink happy, but she never thought that Pink would use or abuse her, she thought that they were genuinely friends. That doesn't take away from the fact that there was still an extremely present power dynamic at play. It's still technically slavery, and slavery might be a bit of an intense subject to approach for an episode of Wander Over Yonder, plus it would be a little too on the nose, I mean the moral would be 'slavery bad'. So instead of just slavery it would be an episode that goes into unbalanced power dynamics in general. Spinel waits to be told what to do when it comes to serious situations, and hardly ever stands up for herself, because she's not used to making choices as a fully individual person. She was either with Pink, or completely alone. Spinel's tendency to look to them for approval or to wonder what Pink would want her to do starts to concern Wander and Sylvia, and I feel like the episode would consist of a lot of them trying to walk her through situations to get her to think for herself in a way that isn't just coming up with a new game to play. It probably wouldn't work very well for a while, because she's still just doing what she thinks they would approve of. I feel like there would be a very important heart-to-heart between Spinel and Sylvia about how sometimes you need to do what's best for you, because if you only think about another person all the time, you're just going to get hurt. Spinel thinks about this and how Sylvia is always risking her own safety to try and help Wander all the time, and she frowns. Meanwhile, Wander's approach is a little stranger, because he's trying to convince Spinel that she should think about more people than just one and try to help everyone she can. This is something that works for Wander and that he believes is genuinely helpful, but it can also be very harmful to him, which is one reason why he needs Sylvia to balance him out. So I feel like a lot of it is Spinel looking between Wander and Sylvia's different approaches and having to figure out for herself what she wants, because thinking about yourself too much is bad, but so is only focusing on one person or focusing on everyone at once. The only thing Spinel wants is friendship, and to make Pink smile, But her experience in the garden changed her; she doesn't want to get hurt like that ever again. Plus, she wants to make her new friends smile just as much as Pink. I do feel like this episode wouldn't completely resolve her feelings and she would have to meet Dominator later on to truly start her course of pursuing her own interests in a way that benefits her just as much as it benefits the people around her. It would be a rough track but it could get her mind to a much better place.
