Emergency

i’ve made posts before but now it’s very serious and the situation has escalated beyond my control. as you may know, my boyfriend has been struggling with finishing paying off the school bill has had for 3 years or so now. however, due to the severe abuse he’s received from his family, he isn't able to get a job at this moment in time. this means that i’ve been making payments the best i can on his school bill, but i can't keep up with the accumulating late fees every month. its nearly $300 worth of late fees now and its only getting worse. 

i hate asking but i need help finishing off this payment. anything will work whether its $1 or just a reblog for attention. once again im sorry i have to ask this of so many of you but his account will be terminated if i cant finish off these payments soon and he will lose any chance he has of getting credit for the schooling he finished.

Was there ever a time your OC would have given everything to turn back the clock 5 minutes? What happened?

even if he turned it back five, ten, fifteen minutes - days, months, years - nothing would have changed, no matter how he may endeavor to rewrite his Fate, he is nothing more than a character in a play.

and one who cannot defy his function at that.

What does your OC think how they’ll die? 

he honestly hasn't given it too much thought. given that he isn't of mortal blood - not completely, no matter how much his body might have reprogrammed itself to better suit the environment of the lower world, he is still an arcadian - a heir of the stars - at his core. there is a chance he could have a perfectly normal lifespan, or he'll live on for hundreds of years - twice the length of that of his dear ones, which is why he refuses to cross that bridge until he has no choice but to. the prospect of outliving them terrifies him more than the unknowns that lie hereafter.

but not even the children of the stars are immune to erosion. eventually, even the proxy of the great mediator will return to stardust from whence he originated. Fate favors nobody - nor does it make exceptions.

What does your OC’s bed look like? What would they like their bed to look like?

it wouldn't be too neat but not necessarily messy either, perhaps with a silken canopy since he's more or less the equivalent of a disney princess. but most importantly - there would be plants and flower pots everywhere, whether dangling from the ceiling or situated on a cabinet or ledge behind his mattress, his bedroom as a whole basically doubles as a botanical garden. i could also see lots of integrations of pink since he's that guy, of course.

Capybaras are friend-shaped. What shape does your OC have?

he is on the smaller side so i like to think he is very huggable. at least from sisyphus' perspective since wren's boyfriend is a giant and a half. i think wren is like a capybara :)

On a scale from ‘burns water’ to ‘5 course menu’ how well can your OC cook?

it isn't even "burns water" levels of abhorrent - if you let this boy anywhere near an appliance of any degree it is going to spontaneously explode itself, some way or somehow. he is the kind of person who presumes something will cook faster as long as you crank the oven up higher. this is why canopus has outlawed any and all kitchen usage for wren specifically. he cannot even serve tea without destroying something in the process.

🐹 xolani, jevon, and elena!

Which would be your OCs favorite Pokemon? What kind of trainer would they be?

for xolani, i don't think they would be a competitive trainer - even though they'd definitely have the talent for it given that they're a strategic mastermind and such, so much so they would make for one hell of a gym leader slash elite four member - they wouldn't want to be bogged down by those sorts of responsibilities. they're a free spirit - and a beautiful one at that with a flair for the elegant and dramatic, so i think they'd probably dabble in contest work - a counterpart to wallace but without the champion business - way too much of a drag. they'd enjoy the coordinating process a lot - especially if it means they can dress up their beloved 'mons in darling little outfits. but just because they're lazy doesn't mean they'll hand over victory so easily - they're as much of a threat on a stage as they would be in a theoretical battle.

for jevon, i honestly don't think his life as a trainer would be too different than - well, his usual one. he would still be a gentlehearted musician with a penchant for the aesthetics, but it might be nice to have some friends to accompany him on his journey. he already enjoys traveling, bird of passage he is - and he would take pleasure in visiting all of the key landmarks known throughout the various regions, from the rich palaces and museums of kalos to the lakes and mountainscapes of sinnoh to paldea's sprawling countrysides - he's always in search of his next big muse, and whether he puts it into score or paint is truly dependent on the landscape. furthermore, he isn't much of a battler -- but that surely doesn't mean he cannot hold on his own.

for elena, another similar case - her lifestyle in the pokemon universe wouldn't differ too much from her actual profession, which means she would be something along the lines of a researcher. perhaps something like a professor's apprentice - the professor in question could even be her and jevon's father, joseph? in which case - she prefers to work from within the laboratory but sometimes, she may accompany her brother on his ventures - claiming that she's conducting "fieldwork" but in actuality, she's just worried for him. overprotective elder sister and whatnot. anyways, she's far more hot-blooded than her brother, so while she preferably keeps her nose out of combat and in her notes or a thick book instead, if you get on her bad side there is a good chance she will pick a fight with you - and she isn't anything to sneeze at from a battle perspective.

zhongli😍🧡🔶

unfortunately i will never have zhongli since i am saving up for baizhu BUT i can still admire him from a distance. i think he has one of the best designs in the game and is a really interesting character overall, i hope we can learn more about his backstory in the upcoming story chapters considering he has lived for nearly 6000 years and i can only imagine what he has experienced throughout his long lifetime... what with his bad blood with osial, his relationship with guizhong and how he founded the harbor... i hope they give us a look into his past eventually. i just... really like zhongli. a lot. he’s knowledgeable, calm, strong, and also very pretty. peak character design honestly.

Sexuality Headcanon: bisexual queen  Gender Headcanon: hmmmmm i like trans woman aerith... a lot..... A ship I have with said character: *bangs fists on table* CLERITH! CLERITH! CLERITH  A BROTP I have with said character: basically the rest of the party, but i especially like the concept of her being a big sister figure to yuffie c:  A NOTP I have with said character: uhhh i guess aerith/sephiroth because that is a thing that exists apparently.  A random headcanon: one of my favorite headcanons/theories is that aerith, in the ff7 remake, remembers the events of the original game (in the sense that the remake takes place in the future/alternative timeline), thus knows about her ultimate fate which could either help to prevent it or, considering that it was her power that enabled them to stop meteor in the end, embrace it. which is also why she tells cloud not to fall in love with her.... *cries* General Opinion over said character: i love aerith so much!!! she impacted me so much as a character throughout my playthroughs of both the remake and the original, and though i knew about what happens to her (pretty sure everyone does at this point) it nevertheless hurt me tremendously. she is an incredible, unforgettable character, and i adore her with all of my heart.

A NOTP I have with said character: ehhhhh i guess cloud/tifa? it isn’t a bad ship by any means, i just like seeing them as bffs more. i will admit that they are both very important figures in each other’s lives, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be romantic, right? plus i just think he has more chemistry with aerith.  A random headcanon: this headcanon is very personal but i also think it’s a widely accepted one but cloud is autistic! it’s more pronounced in the remake, but from his mannerisms to his difficulty in expressing his emotions to the way he interacts with the other characters and just the way he speaks... now i doubt this is what they were intending while creating him (cloud definitely suffers from ptsd and depression, which the developers themselves have basically pointed out) but still, the signs are there and as an autistic person it made the game all the more special to me.  General Opinion over said character: cloud deserved so, so much better. i wasn’t expecting to get as attached to him as i did, but god, by the 2nd disc i was absolutely invested in his character, to the point i nearly shed tears when they unveiled the truth about his past and the repercussions it had on him. i’ve never come across a video game protagonist with as much depth as cloud; he truly feels like a real person and it pains me when people just remember him as some brooding edgelord when there is so much more to his character. as a mentally ill person, i can empathize with cloud and everything he has gone through, which is something i think all writers should strive for when developing a good protagonist. make them complex, multifaceted, and realistic-- cloud achieved all of these, and now stands as one of my most favorite characters of all time.

Top 10 video game bosses!

this will be less about difficulty and more about the story surrounding the specific boss and their involvement in the overarching plot! also in no particular order. 

safer-sephiroth, incredible music, love the religious imagery, and just an all-around challenge. but my girl yuffie pulled through and absolutely DECIMATED him. bizarro-sephiroth is up here too merely because of how much of a jam “birth of a god” is. 

PRIMAL DIALGA even though it isn’t technically the “final boss”, it’s a worthy climax to the end of the game’s main arc, a good challenge and the MUSIC... man. and there’s also the fact that i played as skitty and got to kill god with it. 

simeon from octopath traveler for the mere fact that i got to kick his teeth in <3 rot in hell bitch. oh and darius too. “battle at journey’s end” is also one of the best tracks in the game imo. 

cynthia because she is the only mainline boss that can strike fear into the hearts of even veteran players. she is the challenge that the mainline games are missing imo and i SINCERELY hope they don’t nerf her in the remakes... that and the music. i feel like i keep bringing up the music but boss music is some of the BEST. 

METTATON. his boss fight is a hell of a ride and i always look forward to it whenever i replay undertale... and do i even need to say it? i will anyways. death by glamour is the best track (besides hopes & dreams/save the world - and on that note, asirel’s boss fight is an honorable mention.) 

if i could i would say that every boss from nier automata is perfect but if i HAD to pick, definitely the opera boss. mainly due to the history surrounding simone; it’s absolutely gut-wrenching and it’s your first real introduction to the fact that the machines are sentient, feeling beings rather than mindless rust buckets. i really appreciate the fact that route b takes it upon itself to give each of the bosses a backstory because it really fleshes out these otherwise silent enemies and makes you sympathize with them. other than that, i’d say the final fight between 9s and a2 resonated with me as well for... obvious reasons. it was just a sad, unnecessary conflict fueled by misplaced anger and misunderstandings. 

another pokemon one, but the fight against red in the johto games is absolutely ICONIC, i don’t think i need to explain why, it’s just so, so cool. i really hope they do something like this again in future titles. 

AND ANOTHER POKEMON ONE BUT THE FIGHT WITH N TOWARD THE CLIMAX OF THE ORIGINAL BW IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT BUT IT SERVES AS THE CULMINATION OF HIS CHARACTER ARC AND THE FACT THAT THE FIRST POKEMON BOTH PARTIES SEND OUT FIRST ARE THE OPPOSING DRAGONS... THE IMAGERY... and then followed by ghetsis’s boss fight which is equally iconic with the haunting theme and the fact that his signature pokemon’s strongest move is frustration... cinematic storytelling. 

shido persona 5 because i like beating his ugly ass mug into the ground. also rivers in the desert 

that part in sirius’s conclusion route when he threw books at ashe while the latter chased him around with knives... good times. does this even count as a boss fight? no idea i just find it hilarious how sirius is so wimpy he had to result to defending himself with BOOKS and ashe was just like -.-
