Is tails catchphrase literally “Sizzling Swatbots”? Also note the end of the last issue where it’s “sizzling swatboys” instead

A lot of people have taken note of this, but yes, Penders has been using “sizzling Swatbots” as a generic exclamation a few times in this issue

To be honest I didn’t particular notice this because I’ve been a Transformers fan for 16 years and I’m used to characters constantly shouting phrases like “leakin’ lubricants,” “by the Allspark,” “sizzling circuits,” “sweet Primus,” “sorry solenoids,” [Bobby continues to list Transformer exclamations for three more hours]

Give it to me straight, doc: how long is the chacon/Penders era going to last?

We’ve got until #160, when Ian and Tracy Yardley come on board and save the day. Penders suddenly quitting after #159 was what got Ian his job as the new lead writer, so there was no interim period with another writer between them

In about ten issues we’re also gonna be starting the Sonic X series! Depending on how you look at it, this is either good news because it’ll break up the Penders and Chacon stuff, or bad news because it’ll prolong my journey to the final Penders issue
