“Just come down here.” He said as he hung up the phone.

You threw a mini tantrum before getting out of bed, sliding on your robe as you walked down the stairs.

“This better be worth it Brisson.”

“It is.” You heard as your head snapped up, seeing Brendan with a pile of blankets and pillows on the couch, snacks galore, and your favorite TV show loaded on Netflix.

“You didn’t-“

“I did.” He laughed, “Now take sole Midol and let’s cuddle baby.” He said as he sat down on the couch, you sitting next to him and cuddling into him.

24. "mcDonald's is open, wanna go get some chicken nuggets?" "it's 3 in the morning." "and?" "let's go." With Briss please

You wake up to someone,Brendan, shaking your shoulders.

"Bren, what the fuck?" You whisper, yell at Briss.

"Babe, Babe, McDonald's is open, wanna go get some chicken nuggets?"

"It's 3 in the morning and you just violently woke me from my sleep."

"And?"

"Fine let's go." You finally cave, knowing Brendan would beg and beg until you did anyways.

You pull a hoodie over your pj's and follow Brendan out the door. The McDonald's is just around the corner so you decide to walk.

"Bren since I'm doing this for you, you have to take couple pictures with me." You give him a huge smile, he rolls his eyes, and takes out his phone. You do all the cliché pictures, and if you do say so your self the were very aesthetic.

"Okay can we please actually get to McDonald's?" Brendan whines.

"Okay, okay... race you." You take off and leaving Brendan behind. He dashes after you and eventually catches up to you. He picks you up and throws you over his shoulder.

"Put me down, put me down!" You yell, hitting Brendan gently on the back.

"You cheated babe." Brendan laughes.

"Nooooo Brissy, I tricked you."

"Well to bad, baby." Brendan walks with you over his shoulder, all the way to the McDonald's. The pair of you walk into the McDonald's, kinda delirious because of everything you did tonight and the fact it's now three thirty in the morning.

You walk right up to the counter and say "2 chicken nuggets please." Brendan pays and you wait for your food. When it comes you sit at your tables and start talking. You sit there and talk for hours, until the sun comes up.

This will forever be a night you'll remember. No matter what happens between you and Brendan in the future.

“woah brissy, no need to be snippy” jack laughed and brendan rolled his eyes.

“we’re leaving, finish up your paper and when i get back we can go out?” the guys were going out on the boat and as much as you’d like to tag along, you had a 5000 word paper due tonight.

“sounds good, have fun” you smiled when brendan leaned down to kiss you quickly before rushing out to the boat, dragging jack along behind him

Here we go! (and I based the girl off of one of my classmates from school...no, that's not her actual name, LOL)

It had started off as you needing a date so that you weren’t alone for your high school reunion. You had asked Brendan, your best friend, and he had agreed (though you couldn’t place the look on his face as he agreed). Things had been going well, until Valerie, that popular girl who always liked to make others feel bad about themselves, made a crack about you having a date, when no one expected you would. Brendan’s arm tightened around you as you shrank in on yourself. He tried to get you to go back to the happy girl you were before she had come over, but it was no use. 

“Hey, come on, where’s my smiley girl?” Brendan teased, trying to lighten the mood. Unfortunately, that was the thing that set you off.

“I’m not your smiley girl, and I never will be, so let’s just drop the act and leave, eh?” You yanked out of Brendan’s grasp. You should have never come here in the first place.

Brendan caught your wrist and pulled you back in. “You could be if you wanted to.” he said, voice so soft you almost didn’t hear him at first.

“What are you talking about?”

“I have a crush on you, y/n, ok? I have for a while now. Why do you think I agreed to ‘date’ you so easily?”

“Brendan, you can’t… you can’t just say things like that.” You said. 

“It’s the truth.” He said. Suddenly, the look from the other day made sense.

“You really mean it?” You asked. You couldn’t let your heart get broken again.

“I mean it. Let me do it right, and take you on a date, wine and dine you, the works.” Brendan said. You started laughing. “What?” he asked.

“I like you too.” You said. “And I am definitely down for that.”

When you showed up next year with a ring on your finger and Brendan on your arm, causing Valerie’s mouth to drop open, well, you’d enjoyed every minute of that.
