"But it sucks," she admits as leans into Ria's welcoming arms. If there's one thing about Dolores Núñez it's that she detests people seeing her vulnerable and it's shown in the way she refuses to let any tears fall. Needless to say, the last few days had been hard. All it took was one person asking if she was ok for her carefully constructed wall of hers to crack. The immunity results were not what she wanted and the more she stared out of her apartment window there was nothing but destruction. Nothing. No family. No military. Nobody else looking back at her from other apartments. The thought that they were alone in this and nobody was coming to save them, to save her, was starting to become reality.

"I know I'm being dumb—" Dolores starts but her voice cracks, "—but I just want to be hopeful, you know? I don't want to know what it's like without hope." As she speaks her hand wraps around to rest on the back of Ria's shoulder to allow herself a small moment of comfort before pulling away. "I'm just having a sad girl moment." She reassures, delicately patting under her eyes with a finger before fixing her hair and shaking her shoulders to readjust herself with a stifled laugh. Her goal was to go back to her usual confident self as soon as possible but not without a small, genuine smile in the other's direction first.
