The lights flicker, and another of our leads makes her way on stage, make some noise for Anne!

Upbeat, determined and always willing to help her friends, she immediately accepted Freddy’s invitation to start a band, she’d been wanting to get back into playing bass anyway! She’d been in a band before, that experience surely would help this time around, however, in the back of her head, a tinge of doubt remained. That band she’d been in hadn’t disbanded in quite good terms, and none of the previously friends ended up working well together at all…would the same final scene play out?

Había estado en una banda antes, y esa experiencia les iba a venir genial, sin embargo, aún dudaba. Gears turning, the curtain opens to the first protagonist of this play! Give it up for Freddy !! Music enthusiast and, expectedly, a theatre kid, when he spots a band contest announcement in the school’s board he wastes no time in dragging his friends into a practice room. Bonnie’s a great guitarist, and Anne used to play bass…They can probably get Fox to help out, too… but wait, do any of them know how to write music?!

He spent his free time at the library, writing all sorts of small poems and music excerpts. Not many people stopped by to talk, but that was part of the appeal to him. However, one day, a boy from the same grade hands him a poem he thought he’d lost, and they get talking. Writing…for a band? Maybe it could work out, as long as he didn’t have to step on stage…

Guitar in its case, strapped to his back, he’s stopped on his way out of school by his three old friends. A band? For the school contest? No way. His talent called for things greater than that, he wouldn’t stoop down to such level. Still…they all are putting in so much effort…and their attempts at playing a guitar are awful! Fine, fine. Just this once.

Steam blowing, this play isn’t a monologue, and another of our protagonists steps into the spotlight. Give it up for Aidan!

Number 14 in the school’s football team and designated tour guide for new arrivals, he bumped face first into Freddy, dragging him along to find the rest of their friends to…participate in a band contest. He knew everyone else had at least some form of musical knowledge, but him? Football practice also took a lot of his time, he barely had a moment to relax, yet this was a chance to do something with all his friends together, was it not? …The drums don’t look that hard to play, either.

El entrenamiento también le quitaba bastante tiempo, apenas tenía tiempo para relajarse, aún así esto era una oportunidad de hacer algo todos juntos, ¿no? …La batería tampoco parece tan difícil de tocar.
