Finished this late for Beyblade Day 2024 (and the 25th anniversary of Beyblade) but at least it's done now ^^ Full-colored version of a quick sketch I'd done in November last year, which in turn was based off a commemorative pic in Vol4 of the original Bakuten Shoot manga.

Happy holidays beyfam ✨✨

The illustration I've been holding onto until it got closer to Christmas because I thought it was more appropriate and it was like torture bwaha

Yep, that's where the minis came from ✨

From the series: illustrations that seemed easy in my head and cost me hours of suffering ❀

Initially Kai's hair was blue, but I'm annoying with too many colors, and that took the focus away from the minis a little... Then it turned gray.

This was ready even before Yuriy's illustration, so the text is similar for that reason.

Thanks again for your support this year, whenever I'm feeling down I like to come here and see everyone's cool work. I hope everyone's Christmas is pleasant and warm ☕

Thank you for all the kind messages that I received for my last Beyblade post. :) I was a little surprised that the Fandom is still very active.

💮Today I want to show you this digital illustration of Ray Kon, one of my favorite characters, why? I don't know how I could explain it :3

At first I was going to do it G-rev style but I noticed that the mold I formed was a bit thin, so it wasn't perfect and I focused on the v-force design

While reading fics I always imagined the scene when little Kai regained his senses after burning down the abbey. A plethora of emotions and thoughts gushing into him. I've tried my best to capture them. Hope you like it!

It's like 20 years but I wanna point out how Robert has this huge asf castle with 5000 rooms(more or less) and he still put the Bladebreaker into one room with not only two double beds they needed to share but also not enough so Kai needed to crashed on the couch.

How has no one talked about a coffeeshop AU with Takao and Kai? It would totally work out so well.

Imagine Takao working at a cat cafe while Kai stops by every day to play with the cats (and to spoil them ofc)

Takao works at a cat café with Rei and Max. He mostly works with Max at the drink station up front while Rei checks up on the cats and works on the food.

Kai moves into the small town they live in. He is instantly drawn to the cats on the cat tower by the window. He orders a plain black coffee and stays for an hour to play with the cats before leaving. His order stays the same and he does the same routine.

Takao is very curious about him. He is confused by his order and a little disgusted that he orders it all the time with nothing else. He is a little annoyed by him and his rude mannerism.

In the end, he's in love with how gentle Kai is with the cats and really hopes he is able to adopt one.

Takao often tries to start up conversations with him at the counter, but is often ignored. Kai only really engages in the conversations about the cats and it usually is him nodding or acknowledging his existence.

Kai slowly falls for him as he keeps trying to get to know him. No one has tried as hard as Takao to know him.

Well, one other person but they are dead. Kai is haunted by the loss of Yuuya and being around cats calms the nightmares. He still beats himself up over Yuuya's death and closes himself off from everyone to make sure they don't die like him.

After Takao falls over because he went to work ill, it triggers Kai's trauma and really frightens him. It takes Rei calming him down and Max taking care of Takao for Kai to really admit he likes the cat café and Takao.

This motivates Takao when he recovers and brings the two closer. He realizes right then and there that it is not a simple crush anymore, but he's really in love with Kai and wants to be the one to listen to his past.

HEYA~

For this year I planned some chibis again (but they were so ugly that I gave up lol)

So after that and while I was making an new illustration (which lasted 10 and a half hours), I ended up making little chibis anyway. So I decided to remake them in larger dimensions (Daichi was really funny imo). This is my Christmas present to the fandom this year :)

I would have loved to have been able to draw the other teams, but honestly it exhausted me... _(┐「ε':)_
