Was going through some anime reactions of Bakugou Katsuki: Rising on YouTube - look how positive all of the responses were, from the reactors themselves to the comments! Everyone was praising Katsuki for how far he’d come!

I just have a craving for Katsuki to be extra offended that Izuku let go of his hand while they were walking through a store or on a date etc. Izuku had just wanted to mess with him a little bit.

Handholding took a lot of work to get to okay? Because originally at the beginning of their relationship the blonde DIDNT want to hold hands seeing as his were a sweat factory. But after many attempts to convince him it finally worked and now whenever they walk together (that’s not on patrol) their hands automatically meet each other. If the blonde hasn’t taken his hand already 90% of the time of Izuku reaches out Katsukis hand is already there ready to curl around his. And although Katsuki would NEVER admit it Izuku knows he’s gotten very dependent on their little habit.

One afternoon they are walking together as usual, hands held together and Izuku doesn’t say anything just pulls his hand away and Katsuki who was relaxed immediately stops and whirls to faces Izuku with the most offended face he’s probably every had.

“The fuck?” Katsuki spits brows pinched and mouth hanging open completely confused and upset.

Izuku, holding in a giggle, innocently says “What?” and stares at the blonde.

Katsuki holds his hand open between them and shakes it as if to make a point. “Why?” He pouts almost sounding like a child.

“Why what Kacchan?” He blinks at the taller man and clenches his hands together in his hoodie pockets to keep from grabbing the blondes hand back.

“Nerd.”

“Kacchan.”

“Izuku we don’t do this. Gimmie.” Katsuki huffs. Opening and closing his hand VERY pointedly with tense shoulders and and deep pout on his face. Izuku almost breaks at the wild look in his beautiful red eyes.

Izuku innocently smiles at him. “What are you talking about Kacchan?”

Katsuki drops their shopping bag he’d been holding in his other hand on the ground and clenches that fist. “Are you challenging me asshole?” He growls looking the highest level of offended.

“Wha-No!” Izuku sputters tears forming in his eyes as he tries to hold it together.

Katsuki’s hand held in the air between them jerks pointedly between them again. “Then. Give.” He demands glaring at Izuku.

The shorter man giggles not able to hold it in anymore and slips his hand out of his pocket and places it back into Katsukis hand which Izuku is still surprised at how big and soft it is. He giggles harder when the blonde immediately laces their fingers together tightly still glaring at him and yanks him closer.

Katsuki huffs and picks up their bag before giving Izuku a once over. He turns still scowling like a child and begins walking again.

Izuku can’t help but smile brightly as they walk side by side. But not long after he begins laughing loudly as he hears Katsuki mumble grumpily next to him about how “the fuck are people supposed to know you’re mine hah? Shitty nerd thinking he can just let go. What the fuck? S’my hand fucker.” And so on.
