SUPER FUN photo shoot at a boba place with claw machines. Tbh the boba was just ok, but wowowow this was a fun place to take photos. I wouldn’t dare show up in a cosplay, so it’s nice having dolls for things like this. I still get my picsehehe

After two years of waiting (three if you count the announcement), 2B and 9S are finally here! 

These dolls were like a dream come true - I’ve been a huge Nier fan since I played gestalt in 2010, then when Automata came out and picked up popularity I was so happy the series finally got the attention it deserved. For it to cross into my other major hobby of bjd was unimaginable, and I’m so glad to finally own these. It’s surreal and wonderful. I can’t wait to put them in street clothes and let them have a happy ever after

I made my own 9S doll cuz the official sells for way too much secondhand. He's a Dollce Alkanet (head c) i had lying around on a parabox 50cm boy body. I had been planning on redoing the faceup but i decided it doesn't really matter if he has his blindfold anyway (and company faceups on vinyl are always extremely hard for me to remove honestly so i'd been putting it off) he will very likely never wear his canon outfit lmao. I really liked all the art we got of 9S in other outfits when the anime came out and i never have him in his normal clothes in the game either lol i also liked some of the concept art outfits so i might make some of those

I originally made this acorn hat with 9S in mind. The green matches his bag really well, so I decided to add a little acorn like the one on the t shirt 2B made him in the anime.

Ultimately though I’m not sure he’s a beret guy, so I added a bunch of cottagecore elements to compliment the acorn and added it to my shop instead. I like the idea of creating subtle personalized things for dolls though.
