Ok my inner preteen will not rest until I've said my two cents about big chill and about that the show runners were lying like rugs and didn't think though how big chill reproduces.

The type of asexual reproduction that's most common in insects is parthenogenesis; parthenogenesis is basically a copy paste type of reproduction.(plz correct me if I'm wrong) Meaning that all of the children look like the parent, so no big chill should look like different from each other BUT we've seen white big chills.

So either the big chill ben has is a juvenile (which I doubt since they can yknow, REPRODUCE) oooooor and this is most likely. The show runners didn't think about it to much and when they realized that kids were asking "but ben's a boy and all of his aliens are boys(by default in their heads) so why/how did Ben get pregnant? Is big chill a girl??" And realized that someone in the galaxy would have to be the daddy, they were like nope! Asexual reproduction free card! And the rest is history.

Tbh I can't even be that mad cuz imagine a whole mini arc about ben gwen and Kevin going on a quest to find the father??? That type of drama would've been legendary!!

(And I would've watched it too, preteen me lived for that shit😂)
