▲ Subway to Stardew - Ingo 10-Heart Event ▲
This plays after getting at least 10 hearts with Ingo and entering the Railroad after 7PM.
We made a few assets for this event! You can see the uncropped abandoned junction + stargazing maps and full Jirachi visual below! There's also some commentary on the process of making this event under the read-more!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ingo’s 10-heart event was really fun to put together! And quite the process as well.
It really was! The idea of a stargazing date with Ingo was actually one of the first few event ideas we came up with... but it only really existed in imagery. We knew we wanted to have Ingo and the farmer stargaze atop an abandoned train car, but we weren't quite confident in how the event would play out exactly until quite recently (I actually only got the inspiration on how to finish it about 3 days ago! It sat partially done up until the Bidoof scene for a few months!).
During the idea phase, we were stumped on what to do for a 10-hearted event. Now I’m not the best when it comes to writing romance or dating scripts so when we came up with a stargazing event idea…. Let's say…. The draft sat dormant for about a week or two and I went off to write the other heart events or help with asset creating in between.
It underwent a lot of revisions after the draft was made, the original didn't even have Emmet come in at all! I didn't get the idea to make Emmet eavesdrop (super obviously intruding as per the manga) during Ingo's date until after I finished Ingo's 8-heart event. Ingo's 8-heart event was originally quite bare-bones itself, consisting of just a confession that you could either accept or reject and ends with a single line about getting teased by Emmet and Elesa (which is mostly there to write around the idea of dating both twins at the same time... it would be too hard to implement... in this mod they both have no idea how the other feels and their overall lack of communication comes into play in the 6-heart events). I wanted the idea of a library confession to be a little more interesting and specific to Ingo, so I decided to let him get blackmailed by the kids out of his sweet tooth. From there, I wanted to show exactly why Ingo would want to keep his love life a secret from Emmet for as long as possible- he's a menace. Station Stewardess Kade's area of expertise is angst so the original draft focused more on the stress of work... we ended up having more than enough events regarding that and how hard it is for the twins in the valley, so I tried my best to steer it more towards the cheesy romance that the vanilla 10 heart events tend to focus on. After everything, I thought Ingo needed some fluff and time to just enjoy himself with the person he loves while being himself at full-steam (along with Emmet... this is the first event where his engine is at full capacity for his usual antics). Ingo still does have a tendency to talk about his job, but I tried to change things to have him infodump about his interests (trains, Pokémon, and battling!) to show that- despite the challenges on the tracks ahead of him- he does truly enjoy his line of work!
Which helped spark many ideas! Especially with the telling of Jirachi! (I loved Pokémon and The Wish Maker)
Ingo is dedicated to his profession as a Battle Facility Head because he has an interest in Pokémon. We wanted to lean into how ideal he would be if he were tasked with spreading his knowledge in a land where Pokémon relations aren't commonplace. His memory would be great for kickstarting the creation of a Pokédex... Anyways! He really does appreciate the vastness of space and tends to become sidetracked. I was hoping to convey that during his infodump on Jirachi!
Jirachi itself was drawn by me (Station Stewardess Kade) while the background, clean-up, and amazing pixel shading were done by Station Steward Thylak! This is one of my favorite parts of this event! And they truly brought Jirachi to life that I would never be able to do. (Background-wise.. and pixel art-wise.)
Thank you to Station Stewardess Kade for drawing them! The drafts were really fun to see and polish up!! I've become more confident in my shading and pixel art because of this project!
So here are some early drafts of Jirachi and my poor first attempt at this pixel art. As well as a sketch draft of trying to visualize the event.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I ended up making the farmer leaning on Ingo visual into a map! It was originally going to be a visual like Jirachi's, but a whole event with two frames for all of Ingo's infodumping wouldn't be very immersive... It would be hard to add in things like the usual 10-heart event kisses and animations. They were originally going to sit and look up at the stars but..... farmer animations are finicky. The game does not like making the farmer sit in events if not from the side... even then, I can't do anything about the shadows not being in the right place. If I try to add in any other sitting frames for the farmer, they turn into a bowling pin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The original Jirachi drawings were actually too big for a Stardew map so I had to resize them using the dimensions of Sebastian's mountain scene as a reference (I didn't realize that his 10-heart event has special handling that forces the camera to be zoomed out at the max setting to properly frame the entire map until it was too late... Oh well! I'm happy with the pan effect I added to counter that!). The final background/Millennium Comet takes inspiration from the comet in Maru's event!
Funny enough while Jirachi was currently being drawn, Pokémas had just recently released the Tate and Liza Sync Pair event - Twin Stars Far Apart (I got Tate and Jirachi as a Sync Pair pull!)
It was a fun coincidence! We wanted this event to be fluffy with a tinge of bittersweetness/impending doom from alluding to Ingo getting sent to Hisui in the future... Jirachi didn't relate to that much but then Pokémas decided to split another pair of twins apart!
Now we have also made a custom map! I made the area map while Thylak did any cleanup and adjustments, and also did the custom map for the actual stargazing bit. It was my first time using Tiled! Below are some of the map processes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kade is really good at planning out map layouts! I was surprised at how quickly she learned how to use Tiled! The bush that the Bidoof disappears into was added on a whim. It was originally going to disappear into the bush to the right but... I got impatient waiting for it to walk all the way over there. Our events are long enough already.
We have some events in mind, that will have assets just like this - we truly want to put in the work and effort for this mod, there’s only so much story you can tell when using plain vanilla maps. This is honestly one of my favorite events I have worked on with Thylak, and I’m excited about what else is in store! (*Gives big hug to Thylak*)
I'm really happy with how this event turned out too! Thank you to Kade for coming up with the ideas and scripts for me to polish! You do so much!! The other events may take a while to finish as we need to make more maps and assets, but we hope you like seeing them! We don't quite have a script or know how Emmet's events will play out yet exactly, but they should be fun if Ingo's event process is anything to go by!
We also want everyone to know (this was brought up and mentioned in the Tumblr comments of the last Ingo Heart event we posted)
We are aware that not everyone will want to date the twins in this mod! The main focus of the mod is to rebuild the railroad but to also enjoy the characters that are Ingo and Emmet through both Canon and some Fanon interpretations! Even though we are following the basic Stardew Valley format when it comes to villagers (Bachelors and Bachelorettes) we plan to after the first initial release of the mod make a Platonic Relationship version! Many of the heart events will have to be redone during that time! (Ingo mostly… Emmet is easy to do)
Yes... I had a more clear idea of how Emmet's heart progression would go when starting to make this mod (he's slow to trust people and is iffy on the farmer until 6-hearts in but then gets verrrry attached to his best friend) but weren't quite sure what a particularly meaningful friendship with Ingo would go. Since we were referencing the vanilla Stardew Valley events/heart progressions for Ingo, his development is more romantic in nature. When we do create full-platonic routes for the twins, Ingo's progression will need a complete overhaul while Emmet will only need changes from 8-hearts onwards.
We truly want this mod to be enjoyable for those of you who don’t want to date or are uncomfortable with the notion of dating a fictional character (Myself and Thylak are okay with this since we created OCs/Self Inserts and we create and share stories with each other, during our time working on the mod)
We do know a lot of people project onto submas and would prefer there to be platonic options when playing their heart progressions! Even without that, I feel like a platonic route for Ingo is much needed since playing with the intent to romance Emmet alone is a bit awkward at the moment (I personally don't have much of a choice since I need to code and debug all of the events anyways, but I still feel bad betraying Emmet! He doesn't like sharing!).
The focus is actually the story of Ingo and Emmet being in Stardew Valley. And that can be told either through the Dating Route or the future Platonic Route.
If anyone has any ideas or input regarding how they would want a Platonic Route with Ingo to go, please feel free to share them with us! We have... no idea how that will play out just yet.
For now, though we have the basic Stardew Dating Vanilla format, and on the future track’s ahead a Platonic Relationship format.
With all that said, we look forward to sharing more about the mod. I hope you enjoy the process breakdown.
Thank you for reading! We hope you enjoy what we're conducting!

Round 1: VS Venonat - Legends Part 1
Hello everyone, welcome to my story! This is the first book in a series I'm writing. Hopefully, it'll be finished the way I want it to be. I have a lot of plans to manipulate known facts and add my own into the fray as well.
Sorry, y'all! I didn't mean to fall off on writing this. I just got self-conscious. But I'm not going to let that get into the way anymore! I'm gonna stay on top of writing this!
Especially with this new writing style I've got! I've discovered I'm more a slice of life, mystery, fantasy type of writer. Not so much action like I originally tried. So, my chapters will be much shorter than before and will have great character interactions. I hope y'all like it this go around! And I promise I'll do better with staying on top of things!
I've made a lot of changes to the OG story, along with the previous version so I'll make sure to spot them out and let y'all know!
Oh, and quick disclaimer. I'm a black queer writer so all of my stories, including this one, will have characters who explore black and queer themes. I hope this creates a welcoming atmosphere for all to enjoy my stories and see a different perspective on pokemon and what it can be written about.
I also hope to inspire more black and queer writers to write stories on this site. The more the merrier!
Oh and I'm thinking about doing this thing where I tell y'all what music helped me write these chapters. It's a fun little thing. Mainly because music is a big part of my writing process so I thought it'd be fun to share with y'all!
So these three chapters were inspired by the Calling All Lovers album by Tamar Braxton! I love her voice and have been obsessed with her recently! She's always been one of my favs (#piscesgang) but this revisit to this gem just kept me going! I believe the song that helped a lot was Broken Record.
Special shoutout to Big Dummy by Cocoa Sarai (#piscesgang) as well! That song kept me motivated.
Without further ado, I hope you enjoy it!

Round 1: VS Venonat – Legends Part 1
Location: Twinleaf Town Date: August 4th, 3000 Time: 8:45am
Legends. Paxton grew up on the grand tales of mystery and wonder. Weaved together by ancient people who desired to understand the world around them. From declarations of the universe’s creation to the birth of emotions. A legend existed for them all. And all found themselves scribed and stored in libraries across Sinnoh.
Once upon a time, he believed them. Sat amongst groups of budding trainers in awe as their teacher’s spun these tales. Admired the scholars who backed up these claims with beautifully dressed lies. Part of him wished he believed them. At least then he’d preserve the innocence he lost long ago.
Not that it mattered. Innocence didn’t make for a great travel companion. Clouded the mind and led even the best astray. Paxton knew he’d never succumb to it. Not again.
“Ain’t that right, Kiri?” his little formantis thrilled beside him. She fell in step beside him, having just defeated a wild bidoof. Annoying rodents with the worst aromas.
Under the morning sun, he kept moving. Summers in Sinnoh never made much sense. Despite the heat, a chilling breeze whisked by. Eastern winds—had to be from the lake. Still, a bit musty for his taste. He heard Lake Verity was a beautiful place filled with energetic, young pokémon. Perhaps just another well-crafted lie.
It doesn’t matter. Paxton shrugged and continued his path. He had his mission and pitstops didn’t fit the bill. Soon enough, he found himself inside Twinleaf Town. A cute little place filled with morning folks. They took to the streets with their pokémon and tended to their business. A few merchant stands set up with fresh produce and supplies.
“Pretty nice, huh?” Kiri agreed. She breathed in the fresh air and thrilled. Much better for her than Jubilife City.
Now, if any of them could point him in the right direction—
“I tell ya it’s true!” A youngster wailed to a crowd. Quite the sight, Paxton mused. Clothes tattered and caked with mud. His youthful tan marred with bruises and an odd burn across his forearm.
“There’s a monster in the lake! It attacked me and my nidoran!”
A monster in Lake Verity? Paxton frowned. Too farfetched for his taste. Powerful pokémon never lingered along the lakefront, so the merchants told him. The most dangerous any trainer encountered was a choleric gyarados!
There’s no such thing as monsters, he scoffed but got closer regardless. The kid had a story, no doubt about it. Perhaps it would prove to be a challenge for him.
Though his hopes weren’t high. Twinleaf Town hadn’t produced capable trainers in years—
“The boy speaks truth, if only misguided,” an elderly man took the boy’s side with a pleasant smile. Eyes narrowed with wisdom as leaned against his cane. “There’s always been a force protecting the lakefront. A guardian blessed by Lady Mesprit herself. It serves to protect the grounds from intruders.”
A guardian, the Paxton scoffed. Yet another well-dressed lie. And the crowd around him shared his thoughts if their whispers were any indication.
Clearly, the elder saw no reason to stop. He only adjusted his kimono and tapped his cane against the lush grass. A soft, melodic sound, yet it quieted the confused herd of people. Paxton whistled. Plenty of teachers killed for that superpower, especially on the last day of classes.
“Now, now,” The elder smiled, gingerly tapping the pokéball on his cane. “We all knew of the legend.”
The ball snapped open and released a pokémon before them all. A beautiful feline with glowing, white fur. The perfect contrast to its pitch-black skin and talons. Armed with a scythe-like tail and a crescent horn jutting from its forehead.
It glared at him with glowing red eyes. Eyes filled with frosty wisdom. Lingered on him, demanding something the trainer wasn’t prepared to give.
He flinched. Not his proudest moment. And the pokémon agreed, turning up its nose with a snarl.
“You feel it, Absol?” The man said in a graveled whisper. At once, the strange pokémon—absol, he supposed—growled. The elder stroked its forehead and locked eyes with the trainer. “Young man, what is your name.”
Part of him wanted nothing more than to flip the old geezer off. He hated unwanted attention. Yet the questioning gaze of the crowd made him shrink. Of course, that geezer had them wrapped up in his every word.
“Paxton,” he spoke softly, gathering Kiri closer for comfort. She glared and waved her arms for battle. “Paxton Lotus of Floaroma Town. This is my partner pokémon, Kiri the formantis.”
The geezer nodded with a strange smile. But Paxton couldn’t place why it disturbed him. “You all remember the legend,” the geezer spoke again. “A child blessed with verity. Discovered by the peaceful flower.” Paxton groaned. Of course, this had something to do with him. No wonder he didn’t trust the geezer. “Tell me, young one. What has brought you to his town?”
Easy. He had his mission. Deliver the package and report back to Professor Kapok. Nothing special. He did plenty of these over the weeks.
“To see the lake guardian with my own eyes,” Paxton spoke, but words felt foreign. “And start my journey with an adventure.”
“An adventure,” The man smiled. A knowing smile Paxton saw plentifully on Father’s face. “An adventure intertwined with the red strings. Yes, you certainly shall receive one. Follow me, please youngling.”
Something tells me I shoulda stayed in Floaroma Town
Suddenly, staying in Floaroma Town felt like the right move. Paxton sighed and ran a hand over his green coils. Lake Verity didn’t live up to the legends. No bustling pokémon or fairy spirits. Not even a spontaneous battle—though, Paxton yearned for it well. Just silence and a thick fog.
A strange fog at that. It hung over the trees until they caved to its weighed. Many bent at odd angles. Not even Eterna Forest looked so eerie. And that forest had far too many ghost-type pokémon.
“I hate this place,” Paxton shivered. The air seemed so cold and heavy. And each brush of air prickled his skin with sharpened icicles.
Paxton paused by a familiar tree. Passed it a few times now, he knew. No other tree had these strange cravings on the bark. Some language, he wagered. However, the letters seemed bizarre and had cycloptic eyes. Strange, yet they seemed familiar. As if he saw them in a dream before.
{Paxton…} a voice whispered on the wind. Eyes darted around, but Paxton couldn’t find the source. Yet the voice continued, whispering his name in an offbeat rhythm. {Paxton…}
Great, I’m loosin’ it! Paxton groaned. Yet the voice paid him no heed. Each whisper grew louder than the last with a pronounced echo. Mashed together with words until it jumbled into an incoherent mess. Pain shot through his mind and Paxton stumbled. Braced against the tree, he stared into the fog and froze.
A figure breached the fog. Pale as ice with messy coils and lifeless eyes. Naked yet the wisping streamers of the fog covered anything unsavory. The figure stared at him with shinning sky-blue eyes…and smiled. Giggled even!
Is that a ghost? Paxton swallowed. Spirits weren’t his forte. In fact, they freaked him out!
{Paxton…} the ghost spoke even though its lips never moved. It urged him to follow as it stepped back into the fog. {Paxton…}
…Hell. Against his better judgement, he followed it. Chased it through the shifting fog as Kiri appeared beside him in a burst of light. He needed her. If this ghost was anything like the kind in Kanto, then he couldn’t take any chances! Would’ve been a perfect time to find that guardian though.
Guardian…what if that ghost was the guardian? A chill ran down his spine. He hoped not. Dealing with the undead was Casper’s thing, not his! He had enough of ghost-type pokémon ever since he got lost in that busted down chateau!
Still, he put those thoughts aside and chased its faded form. Even as his lungs screamed at him to take a break. Or his legs struggled to keep up. He fought through it. And Paxton found himself in a clearing. Empty, yet devoid of the heavy fog. Just a soft breeze and lake water as it crashed against the ground.
The ghost turned to him and grinned. Eyes filled with mirth as it lifted off the ground and floated to the lake. Paxton followed and gazed in awe. The ghost danced above, swinging its arms. It spiralled through the morning skies and giggled. Soft and melodious as the soft waves rolling through. And with a grin, the ghost dove into the lake.
Glittering light erupted across the water. Engulfed the lake in a rainbow splendor.
For a moment, Paxton stared into the light. Entranced as thoughts raced through his mind. Feelings, long since buried, unearthed and flooded him in a sparkling array of light—
(Veno-NAT!)
Paxton didn’t realize he moved until the heat hit him. As he rolled along the soft grass, charred dirt sprinkled his skin. Ignited by flashes of green light. Something attacked him, but he couldn’t see anything in the grass. Just rustling as the breeze blew through—
(NAT!)
This time, Paxton was ready. He lunged away as streaks of light smashed into the ground. Unharmed except for the light scarps. Good enough for Kiri as she dashed into the fight. She weaved through the streaks of light and unleashed a spiral of glowing leaves into the tall grass. Trimmed grass fluttered through the air, but the rustled told him all he needed to know.
“Kiri, widen your range and trim the grass! Razor Leaf!”
Sharpened leaves ripped through the air and trimmed the tall grass. Amongst the fallen leaves, he caught a glimpse of the assailant. Purple for sure…and were those clodhopper feet?
The creature paused in the epicenter of the field. And…it had to be the ugliest thing Paxton ever saw. Thick, disheveled purple fur mashed with giant, red eyes, stubby paws and insect features. Poor thing. Nobody’d ever train something so hideous.
This must be the monster. Paxton frowned. Ugly or not, he had to get rid of it.
“Kiri, time to water the garden.” Kiri rushed it and slashed it across the chest. The bug cried out, but Kiri didn’t stop there. She slashed and slashed, drawing pained buzzes from the creature. Now that Kiri had a target, that bug didn’t have a chance.
“That’s it! Fury Cutter!”
Once Fury Cutter went to work, it didn’t matter what pokémon Kiri faced. Each slash gained greater strength than the last. A nasty move for sure but made pokémon battles so much easier. The bug stumbled away from a slash and hopped away. But Kiri raced after it, unleashing more spiraling leaves to smash into its back.
“Finish it, Kiri! Leaf—”
Kiri cried out, low and mangled, as she fell forward! Her blades held her up, but she gasped for air.
But how?! Paxton watched in horror as the air rippled and smashed into Kiri, blowing her back. He lunged for her. Caught her just before she crashed. And when he pulled her close, he found streaks of purple staining her green skin. Poison?
(Nat?) The bug hopped over. Body tensed as green light oozed underneath its messy fur. Paxton dipped a hand to his belt. He had the perfect pokémon for this ugly—
“Motha,” A calm, melodious voice washed over the field. And the beast paused. “That’s enough.”
The beast hobbled over to the lake with a certain bounce that Paxton didn’t appreciate.
“That’s enough fighting, please,” the same voice spoke again. And a trainer climbed out of the crystal waters. Clad in only a pair of black briefs decorated with bugs and bubbles. His soaked black coils hung over his eyes, dripping water down his toned hazelnut body. When he finally moved the coiled curtains, Paxton caught sight of sky-blue eyes.
Just like that ghost.
But…his looked so shattered.
“Who are you?” He spoke again with that same melodious quality. Only this time, there was a noticeable edge. Like a cliff blocking a powerful wave. “What are you doing in Lake Verity?”
Paxton scowled. Figures the monster had a trainer. It fought too well to be wild. But it didn’t make sense. Why attack? Paxton shook his head.
“My name is Paxton—Paxton Lotus of Floaroma Town,” he gulped. His heart pounded against his chest. “I’m here to defeat the monster in Lake Verity. That you, ain’t it?”
The trainer paused. And his eyes darkened with flecks of gray.
“I am the guardian of Lake Verity,” he began slowly as a storm brewed behind his lips. “My name is Turquoise. Turquoise Yukule.”
How did y'all like that chapter? It took some time to perfect, but I loved the twist it took! I'm happy with it.
Paxton's a new character I made. Lowkey based him off of a mix of the Aroma Lady and Gardener Trainer Classes. I'm starting to really fuse Trainer Classes for some reason and I love it lol
And yay, Turquoise is back! He's literally my favorite little bubble of sunshine. I love his character and did some changes to him too. I'll let y'all know his Trainer Class next chapter!
But I'd to hear from y'all. Feel free to leave a review or PM me. I'd love to hear your feedback. And I'll do my best to respond to all reviews as well!

Alternate Next Gen (Relatives): Gale Surge
Tumblr media
Gale is the son of Violet and Lt. Surge. As a young boy, Gale enjoyed watching his mom and his aunts perform in water shows and would always watch them along side his cousins and it was because of the influence with watching their respective moms that they started their own water show where they started calling themselves “The Captivating Cousins”. The main difference between him and his mom is that he doesn’t belittle his youngest cousin Lapis and sees her as a strong battler and a great gym leader when it’s time for her to take over the gym, he, along with Brook and Rosemary also let Lapis join them for their water shows when she isn’t busy training or taking exams. Gale is known for having two parts to his personality, when he isn’t on stage he can be pretty childish and carefree much like his mother but when he’s on stage performing a play, he can be loud, arrogant and even crude which he got from his father. Similar to his father, he can get pretty brutal while he’s battling someone, it’s for that reason he isn’t allowed to battle with his Pokemon unless it’s an emergency, he doesn’t mind since he knows how brutal he can get when he’s too excited. Due to his almost brutal and crude personality, Gale mostly plays villain roles in their performances. Gale will also plan all of the battle scenes and will write the scripts for their shows.
His Pokemon:
Pichu- Pichu hatched from an egg given to him by his parents after the partner of Lt. Surge’s Raichu laid an egg. As Pichu is still young, he gets uneasy when he isn’t near Gale and always stays near him, often riding on his head, on his shoulder or being carried in his arms. Pichu is the more adventurous and mischievous Pokemon of the group, he’s also highly playful and enjoys playing with Togepi, Mantyke and Azurill. Togepi, Pichu, Mantyke and Azurill are known to be the mascots and stars of many of the water shows the cousins create together and he enjoys taking part in the water shows as he gets to be with his friends and his surrogate father. Like most Pichu, Gale’s Pichu has a habit of shocking himself if he discharges electricity, he also will accidentally shock his trainer and his trainer’s cousins, no one gets angry at him due to how they know it’s normal for a Pichu. Pichu is afraid of getting in the water, mostly due to the fact if he isn’t careful he could shock everyone in the pool but it’s thanks to a special flotation tube that is not only made of rubber but also completely covers Pichu so he doesn’t accidentally shock everyone in the pool that he’s able to join the others when they’re playing in the pool. Pichu is the excited little brother that often gets the idea to explore the gym and he will often drag his pseudo siblings with him, none of them mind as they enjoy having adventures with Pichu. Pichu has a special bond with Lapis’ Togepi, Brook’s Mantyke and Rosemary’s Azurill, the four of them see each other as siblings despite none of them being the same species or sharing parents.
Caught in a Fast Ball.
Ability is Static.
Moves are Nuzzle, Sweet Kiss, Volt Tackle and Charm. Locked moves are Thunderbolt, Iron Tail, Swift, Mega Punch, Thunder Punch and Shock Wave.
Prinplup- Prinplup was given to Gale by his grandparents when he was a Piplup after the two of them went to a trip to the Sinnoh region. As a Piplup, Prinplup was actually a lot shyer than a normal Piplup which many people found adorable since Piplup are known to be more prideful to the point they won’t accept food from humans. Prinplup would mostly hide behind his trainer when he was met by new people or if people called him cute, which would cause him to blush heavily and run away shouting, much to everyone’s amusement. After evolving into Prinplup, he lost his shyness and started being more confident, he still had a lot of modesty instead of being overconfident or too prideful. Much like his trainer, he can get a little brutal in battle but with time he was able to control himself. He enjoys playing a villain role with his trainer, he’s still a kind hearted Pokemon despite how he may act on stage and he’ll help other Pokemon should they need a hand. Prinplup has a brotherly bond with Lapis’ Wartortle and Brook’s Dewott though all three of them often fight for Rosemary’s Brionne’s affections.
Given in a Pokeball.
Ability is Torrent.
Moves are Metal Claw, Bubble Beam, Drill Peck, Hydro Pump, Signal Beam, Blizzard, Whirlpool, Hone Claws, Dive and Water Pulse.
Bibarel- Bibarel was caught by Gale when she was a Bidoof, Gale found her to be cute and decided to keep her. After some training, she had evolved into Bibarel. Bibarel is a very helpful Pokemon, she enjoys working with the family by building sets and props for their water shows and she has no problem doing either for them. When she was a Bidoof, she felt useless as she was abandoned by her trainer in an unfamiliar region but was happy when Gale found her and took care of her when no one else would approach her and it’s because of Gale’s kindness that she works hard for him by providing sets and props for her trainer. Bibarel gets very excited when Gale thanks her for her hard work or if he praises her, often getting so excited that she’ll cry tears of joy and will hug him happily, Gale doesn’t mind and he finds it rather cute. Bibarel is more of a carpenter than a battler but she will battle to protect the gym.
Caught in a Pokeball.
Ability is Moody.
Moves are Hyper Fang, Defense Curl, Rollout, Crunch, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Super Fang, Aqua Tail, Surf and Scald.
Lanturn- Lanturn was caught by Gale while he was fishing with his father, he was excited to have caught a Lanturn and was happy to show him off to his cousins. Lanturn wasn’t bothered being caught by Gale as he always wanted a trainer but not many trainers caught him when he was fished up. Lanturn is normally a really easy going Pokemon, nothing phases him and he doesn’t seem bothered by much, he’s always happy just to hang around with the other Pokemon in the gym. Despite how easy going he can be, he has a bad side that comes out while he plays the villain role with his trainer and he’s always excited when that role comes up and takes a lot more enjoyment than normal with that role, thankfully he always apologizes to his fellow Water-type Pokemon if he hurt them too badly during the plays. Aside from playing villain roles, he will also create amazing light shows and will often combine his Electric-type moves with someone else’s Water-type moves as if he was in a Pokemon contest, he’s always careful not to accidentally shock someone.
Caught in a Lure Ball.
Ability is Volt Absorb.
Moves are Stockpile, Spit Up, Surf, Electro Ball, Bubble Beam, Discharge, Dazzling Gleam, Water Pulse, Psybeam and Charge Beam.
Walrein- Gale caught his Walrein when he was a Sealeo while he and his family were on a trip to Hoenn. As a Sealeo, Walrein was a cheerful Pokemon that loved to perform with his trainer and his teammates, he also enjoyed being with his teammates and other gym Pokemon and would often play with them. He was also enjoyed playing with children who would visit the gym by juggling for them or just entertaining them anyway he could. After evolving, he felt upset due to not being as cute as he was before and not having kids play with him like they normally would and went through a bit of a depression. After getting comforted by his trainer, he started performing in the water shows by playing as a hero to help him get his confidence back and to help kids warm up to his new form, which worked and he started going back to playing with kids when he wasn’t needed for a performance. After some more confidence building, he started getting into playing a villain and was relieved when the kids weren’t afraid of him when he was being a villain’s Pokemon. Walrein is a gentle and kind Pokemon outside a lot of the show’s he’s apart of, he also enjoys battling and is one of the few Pokemon that Lapis is allowed to use during gym battles despite being owned by her cousin. Walrein doesn’t mind being battling alongside Lapis, he sees her as a nice person and is more than happy to lend her a hand. He’s used for challengers with six and seven badges.

Pokemon Platinum Nuzlocke (Part 2) - The First Gym
So... This is an eventful run. After months of procrastination and busy writing stuff, I’ve gotten around with my Nuzlocke run on Pokemon Platinum! But uh... See for yourself...
Basic Nuzlocke Rules
Species Clause
Gym Level Limit: 15
Detailed Rules
After I leveled Buck and Violin, I decided to make the last stop on Sandgem PokeMart and bought 5 Potions. I know my Pokemon is already enough, but I'm not taking any chances without any healing items on hand. Thankfully, I didn't get to use them as I breeze through some trainers and managed to reach Jubilife City without any issue. There, I met up with Lucas again and after showing off my Pokedex, he encouraged me to catch more Pokemon. Um... That's nice to hear, Lucas. But this is a Nuzlocke and even with the Species Clause, I doubt that would be possible...
He then told me that he saw Top at the Trainer School. But when he escorted me there, I encountered a strange guy in a trench coat named Looker. He claimed that he's from the International Agency and he was searching for some Pokemon thieves roaming around the region. No offense, but he looks like a thief for me, so I can't trust him (yet). Though I appreciate the VR Recorder he gave me (though I doubt I can use it for obvious reasons).
Once I've entered the school, I met up with Top and gave him the Parcel that his mother supposed to give him. Turns out that there are two Town Maps inside it, which he gratefully gave the other one to me. Now that's one item I can use for this playthrough! (Probably because I'm extremely forgetful...)
After that, I decided to train my Pokemon a bit by battling two Schoolkids as well as gaining a free Potion from them. Once that's done, I ended up finding what seemed to be another stranger danger in the form of another strange man.
Tumblr media
(Gimme!)
Thankfully, it's just the one who promotes Poketch and since it might be useful for this playthrough (which is practically everything), I decided to collect three vouchers to obtain it.
Tumblr media
(Poketchs! It's better than Apple Watch!)
Now that the city life is done, for now, I headed off to Route 203 to meet up with Top again so we can have our second battle. Flippers managed to beat his Starly very easily, but my main problem was his Turtwig. I tried to switch him with Violin, but his constant use of Withdraw made it very difficult for her to use Bide, which at that time is her only offensive move. Thankfully, she managed to beat it without ever switching out.
Tumblr media
(Good luck with that...)
With another W on my belt, it's time to catch another Pokemon on the new route!
Except the Pokemon I've encountered is an Abra. I tried to catch it in my first turn, but guess how that turned out...
In any case, I didn't get my first unsuccessful catch get to me as I trained my Bidoof after I gone back to Jubilife and bought some Potions and Poke Balls. After that, I fought a Youngster to get another Poke Ball. Although as for the other trainers, I'm having trouble battling them with Violin because most of them had Leer and I feared that she will get knocked out if I let her in those battles for too long. But the good news was that she survived and she evolved into Kricketune!
Tumblr media
(Wait, is this a good thing that my screeching cricket has evolved into a screeching violin?)
Once that's done all of that after getting an X Defend and Repel, my Pokemon's HP has gone yellow and so, I head back to heal them as well as buying more Potions in preparation for the next area since that's where the first Sinnoh gym was.
First things first, I met up with a Hiker in Oreburgh Gate to get an HM06 Rock Smash because it is an important tool if I want to get through the whole region (And yes, I've admitted HMs suck.). Once I arrived at Oreburgh Gate, Top informed me that the gym leader there has gone into the mines, so I decided to try and go there to challenge him.
Tumblr media
(Oh, I wonder why... 😒)
But first, I go back to the gate to catch a new Pokemon. I encountered a Geodude, but Flippers accidentally knocked it out with his Bubbles. Oops...
I try Route 207 next and encountered another Geodude. To avoid another Bubbles incident, I'm forced to use Pound to avoid fainting, but it was worth it and I nicknamed her Granite. I grabbed another Poke Ball near the tall grass before I move on. Once I got my first Rock-type, I head off to the mines to start searching for the Oreburgh gym leader, Roarke.
Tumblr media
(Now be nice to each other...)
When I got there, I encountered and caught a Zubat, which I named her Sonar. To be honest, I hadn't got any Flying-types since the start of the Nuzlocke, so I'm a bit worried that I don't have any Pokemon to use Fly on. Regardless, I'm just glad I got a Poison/Flying-type by my side for now.
Tumblr media
(Hello, blue blind bat.)
Eventually, I caught up with Roarke and successfully ask him for a gym battle, which he then has gone back to prepare for it. Of course, I did my preparations by battling some trainers to gain more EXP for my Pokemon. I even try going to Route 207 to train Buck, but I aborted it because of too many Machops Low Kicking poor Buck. Once I finished, it's time to challenge my first Pokemon Gym for my first Nuzlocke.
I challenged the gym trainers first for more EXP. I managed to OTKO the first one with Flippers, but for the second Gym Trainer, I decided to put Granite into the ringer for more EXP. Turns out the battle became tedious as I was forced to use Tackle many times to knock his Geodude out. I was bored, so I used Flippers to finish off his Onix.
With that done, I finally challenged Roarke, and...
I failed.
Flippers managed to knock out two of his Pokemon and the trouble begins when he takes out his Cranidos. I tried to use Bubbles, but he successfully flinched him with his Headbutt. Unfortunately, my journey abruptly ended once I ran out of Potions and I was forced to watch him knock out every Pokemon I had on my party, dooming me to fail my first Nuzlocke playthrough.
Tumblr media
(Darth Vader voice: NOOOOOOOO!!!)
I'm pretty pissed about it. But to be honest, it is my fault for not buying enough Potions for the Gym battle due to my forgetfulness and my eagerness to move on. It's a pretty good experience, but I doubt I might go back to Pokemon Platinum to try the Nuzlocke again. Besides, the Isle of Armor DLC is coming in a few weeks and I might be busy with it after the release of it.  But who knows? I might try it again if I feel like it with a few modified rules to ensure my next playthrough won't be as tough as this one.
Pokemon Platinum Nuzlocke Run
FAILED!
But that doesn't mean this blog is over. Stay tuned to check out my future playthrough posts soon! Until then, keep on gaming and stay safe out there!

Lily’s Responses
QuilLynn:
Hey QuilLynn! Glad to see you’re still opinionated as ever. I didn’t expect you to put on any sort of fake niceness for this. Thanks for the question.
So, first, let me address the part about how giving credit to my competition makes me look pathetic. I’m simply showing respect for my fellow players who made it to the finale with me, even if it isn’t 100% deserved, and I think that that’s, like… the baseline expectation for a good finalist, the way I see it. It’s unfortunate that some people can’t even meet that, but I digress. Second, I’d like to address your comment about the idol play. Yes, I know that from an outside perspective, it may have looked like I just gave it to him and asked him to play it on me. It makes sense why you’d think that, honestly, but it wasn’t the actual story behind this, so let me tell you what actually happened. So, I figured, upon hearing that my name was out there, that an idol was all that could save my ass. Obviously I was wrong, but whatever. Anyway, I managed to actually find one soon after hatching my plan, and I managed to do the puzzle and get that done. But once I had the idol in my hands, a new problem came to mind. Looking at my past seasons (or at least, the ones where I’ve had idols and was deciding for myself what to do), I saw the pattern that I wouldn’t really play idols very accurately, and I wanted to take that personal flaw into account. So, my way of making sure things wouldn’t go to shit was to give Andrew the idol, and I told him not to play it. I mean, he didn’t listen, but I digress. So, that wasn’t really my plan, for him to play it on me and negate a whopping one vote, but I see why you’d assume that and it’s a fair enough question. To address the complaint about me “hibernating up Andrew’s ass”, this might just be due to how I was somewhat clueless when you ended up leaving the game, and also potentially in terms of how I ended up playing after your vote. It may look like I was just playing things in a “boring” manner, but then again, it wasn’t like many big moves were made at all this game after the super idol. Things were rather mundane, even if votes weren’t unanimous, going forwards. However, I don’t think my gameplay can be painted as me just sitting in the sidelines and sticking like glue to the majority, even if I managed to stay in that aforementioned majority. A good portion of my moves had to do with both jury management and keeping myself safe, whether it was making myself less of a target to the opposing side or making sure that my allies were on my side. And, just as one last note, I find it a bit funny that when my game was largely social and had to do with jury management, you drag it for being pathetic, and yet you also end up dragging Andrew for his lack of jury management. Hm.
Jacob:
Thank you very much for your question(s)! I appreciate them, and will answer to the best of my ability.
In terms of the three pillars of Survivor gameplay, I’d say I probably value the social game quite a bit, despite some people potentially thinking that I relied on my immunity wins to make it to where I did. Like I described in my opening statement, the first swap was where I began to work to establish various alliances with players who I would find myself working with as the game went on (mainly you, Jay, and Andrew), which obviously relied on very good social skills. Then, once the merge came, I found myself on the bottom for a short while, but was able to once again utilize my social skills (and those past connections) to pull myself into a majority that let me make my way to the end of the game where you see me now.
On the topic of #Furbygate, people who were there that first night probably remember that I was closely sticking by Trixie’s side. I didn’t initially realize or even suspect that it was faked, and I’ve seen lots of people being made fun of in the past for special interests or things that traumatize them. I didn’t want to be one of those people thinking “lol it’s probably just a joke” and teasing her over it, in case it was real and I might’ve created a divide between us. It’s best to err on the side of caution in these scenarios for that very reason. And once I found out it was fake, I was shook.
When it comes to my immunity wins, it really depends which one you’re looking at. The plan might’ve been to vote me at Final 9 had I not won there, but it might’ve ended up somewhere else (like the super idol with Andrew and Nehe) regardless of my immunity, so that’s really a bit of a toss-up, although I have a slight suspicion that I might’ve been one of the early merge targets. As for the Final 4 win that guaranteed my seat here in the finale… I definitely feel as if that was a moment where I needed it. Not only would it leave Nehe as a threat to win, but I’d probably be left as the one on the bottom, either in a fire-making challenge or in just a straight up 3-1 vote.
If there was a final 3, and I was the one who was unable to make it (despite Bodhi being kinda absent now), I don’t think there’s any question in my mind that I would vote for Andrew. Not because I’m his puppet or anything, like SOME people might tell you, but because Bodhi was a fucking mess throughout this merge, constantly trying to play every single side in the early votes and throwing my vote away into the void as if I was just a pawn. It completely severed my trust in him, and if he thinks that that’s MY fault, then obviously he doesn’t have any awareness of his social game and how it affects others. Andrew, meanwhile, actually played a decent game and stuck to his alliances, keeping loyal and actually telling the truth when asked for it. I mean, sure, he did have that one silly idol play on me that I tried to talk him out of, but that’s really nothing much in retrospect. As for who I’d vote for from the jury to win… My choice would probably have to go to Jay. He was an obvious threat to win (as evidenced by the fact that y’all voted him out for that very reason), and if he had managed to get further I think he would’ve been a serious threat. And for Fan Favorite… Trixie. Furbygate was honestly iconic. That’s all I gotta say on that subject, especially when I look back on it, knowing it was fake. What a shookening move.
Trixie:
Thanks for the question! Looks like you and QuilLynn are still kindred spirits, just as I remember things. I would say I’m happy to answer your question, if not for the fact that most of your concerns were already addressed in my answer for QuilLynn. If you read that over, things might become clearer. Thanks again!
Nehemiah:
Hey Nehe! Thanks for the question!
So, loyalty means a lot to me too, which is why you won’t often find me flipping on alliances too often unless I think it's the optimal thing to do in order to further the game. In this game, I think my greatest display of loyalty was, in all honesty, towards you, up until final 4. You were part of the main alliance that I was in, even if you didn’t seem fully on board with me being there, and despite your constant votes against me, I always stuck by your side, keeping you on board even when I could’ve flipped things around and taken you out.
Nicholas:
Hey Nicholas! Thanks for the question, and thanks again for not letting your dislike of me factor into your vote. As for your question, I have to thank you yet again, because I've already answered it and won't have to answer another time :P You can consult my answer to QuilLynn for that.
Jay:
Hey Jay! Didn’t expect much else from you with this question :P Thanks, btw. I’ll be basing most of my answers off of side games (mostly Pokémon Mystery Dungeon) that actually give personalities to the Pokémon, for the sake of making this somewhat easier. Jay: Not even in regards to your profile picture, but I’d label you as Grovyle, due to your constant perseverance in games like these, being viewed as a threat, and your unbreakable loyalty to your allies. QuilLynn: My choice for the Pokémon to represent you, QuilLynn, would have to be Skuntank, due to how he constantly chooses to remind the main characters (or in this case, the finalists) that they’re weak and puny (or in this case, incompetent and/or egotistical). Trixie: Trixie, if I had to pick a Pokémon to represent you, I’d go with the great Dusknoir. You manage to paint yourself as being in the right at all times, but no matter how much you try, your scheming (Furbygate) all comes crashing down in the end, being exposed to everyone else. Kinda fitting, too, since you were one of the ones that orchestrated the plan to take out Jay. Jacob: Jacob, I’d say you’re most comparable to Bidoof, due to how you can be a bit of a worry wart on occasion (that idol play, for example, and your worry that Bodhi would be working with the other side and a desire to blindside him), but you’re still trying your best. Roxy: If I had to make a choice, Roxy, I’d choose Wigglytuff. You’re overall a pleasant personality, even if you may seem a bit aloof at times, and although you can get rather serious if you want, you’re often a more light-hearted person. Nicholas: This one’s a bit of a tough choice, honestly, but if I had to pick a Pokémon to represent you, I’d have to go for Uxie. You took on a more menacing personality, like Uxie did with the Groudon hologram, in order to try and keep yourself secure, but it didn’t end up working in the end. Nehemiah: Nehemiah, my choice for what Pokémon best represents you would have to be Nuzleaf (the one choice that’s NOT from the Explorers games), even if it is due mostly to my personal experiences. You made me believe that we were on the same side of everything, despite you having ill wishes towards me, and it never really made me view you as anything less.
Roxy:
I wish I had the time to actually write up a proper Furmit fanfiction, but unfortunately, I don't. So just imagine that I wrote you a story where a Furby named Jake Paul dumped his boyfriend Nick Crompton in order to pursue a relationship with famous actor Kermit D. Frog.
