60yards on a idpa sized silhouette steel target.

With a Beretta 84F in .380

Granted I was shooting that pissin’ hot Romanian surplus that was absolutely screaming out of the 3.8” barrel.

I should have done a side by side with this and the .45 1911. The dwell time was nuts but it rang the target like a church bell.

so, a turkish company made a pistol called the Girsan MC14, and the MC14 is just a really fancy boxy Beretta 84F

and I happen to have a Beretta 84(although not an F)

so, what do I do when I finally obtain the pistol? why, I throw the Mc14 slide on the Beretta frame to see if it works. and it does.

As he entered the car, Amir approached the car from the rear and fired two shots at Rabin with a Beretta 84F semi-automatic pistol. Rabin was hit in the abdomen and chest. Amir was immediately subdued by Rabin's bodyguards and police on the scene, and fired a third shot at bodyguard Yoram Rubin during the struggle, lightly wounding him. On November 4, 1995, Israel’s Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, attended a peace rally in support of the Oslo Accords at the Kings of Israel Square in Tel Aviv. Looking out on the crowd of more than 100,000, Rabin said, “I always believed that most of the people want peace and are ready to take a risk for it.” He was in a festive mood and even joined in the singing of “Shir LaShalom” (“Song for Peace”).

The rally ended at 9:30 p.m. As Rabin walked down the city hall steps toward the open door of his car, Yigal Amir fired three shots at Rabin’s back with a Beretta 84F .380 ACP caliber semi-automatic pistol. Rabin was rushed to nearby Ichilov Hospital where he died on the operating table from blood loss and a punctured lung. He was 73-years old.
