the design for Beloved is very much based on my partner @prawnlegs', which is truly the only one for me (though mine leans just a little more towards my fancast, which is a young Jaye Davidson with light hair. the Fool may be "a White" but he isn't white!). for Fitz i was looking at both Dev Patel & Rahul Kohli. he has to be pretty so anyone will put up with his shit.

Oh Amber oh god I love her that curiosity and that deep care she's always had for the most unexpected things, small things, inanimate things, vulnerable things. It's incredible how consistant this is in her character all the way through the books, chipping and chipping and chipping away at girl-on-a-dragon, the little wooden toys for the children in the mountain kingdom and the way she now crafts little wooden beads and is better at creating those small things than the big things, the curiosity at Paragon and the compassion for his prior injuries and the intensity with which the full realization of his personhood strikes her. She's always digging to know more and paying close attention to the little things and the abandoned things and I love her soooooo much
