I love my 6L Bellroy Venture Sling for EDC, but because I'm such a packrat I've been thinking of moving to the 9L for the extra space and versatility. This upcoming Carryology collab could throw a (probably very expensive) wrench in those plans. It looks like a really nice upgrade over the standard Venture Sling lineup.

Sometimes things go my way.

It’s the small victories in life that I need to cherish. I’m learning. I’m a work in progress.

I’ve been looking at getting a tech organizer. Of course my beloved pack hacker website and YouTube channel have plenty to choose from. Somehow, I just didn’t want to spend $60 on a Bellroy Tech Kit.

Enter local small business that sells everything for the outdoors and it’s not REI.

I found this guy here:

Sure, I’m not a Mountainsmith, nor will I ever be one. Also, I’ve never heard of this brand before. However, it hits all the buttons for what I need in a tech organizer.

All my MacBook, iPhone, AirPods, and IPad charging needs. (I’m not ready to wear a watch again). All in one handy little pack.

As an extra bonus, it was only $25. So when (if 🤞🏻) this thing fails me…I will then reluctantly pony up for something else.

It also doesn’t have that tactical esthetic, that I see a lot of in my travels. If you’re military or former military, I get it, it’s good gear. If you’re a middle-aged, white, doughboy that doesn’t appear to have ever been enlisted, you look foolish.
