Damn it, I've gotta post about this. I've been wanting to post about it for a few days, but it's in regards to something during when I was reading The Echo Garden.

Oh I fucking loved that fic, it was amazing, i loved posting about it, i adore every time someone asks me if i can say the name of some fic I'm reading and that 100% applies here. I absolutely loved mtmte Rodimus and tfp Soundwave's interactions and how they dipped into caring about each other, I loved watching Sounders's redemption arc and how the crew interacted with him (and vice versa). Bookmarked it, kudoed it, posted so much during the entire time. I give the highest of praises to exactly everyone during the entire thing, especially so the author and the person who recommended it to me.

But. The thing I've been putting off posting about, the thing I kept writing up posts for but kept deleting them.

Around the halfway mark in the fic, it ended up triggering one of the wost, possibly the worst depressive episode I've had since the new meds. I did not, and couldn't have, anticipated it, none of us could have. I am still unsure what exactly was doing it, I've narrowed it down to something about tfp Soundwave's behavior but beyond that I have no clue. So, naturally, I did the 💫Riot typical thing💫 and kept damn reading it because it was a good fic and brushed off how it was impacting me. Exactly nobody's fault but my own. I was in a relatively good headspace when I started it, and I've since such returned to my better mood. So I have no fragging idea why it happened.

So in all likelihood, I will probably not be able to read the new chapters when it updates, or reread it in the future. And that is a damn tragedy in itself, as I've mentioned above I wholeheartedly have placed it in my top ten favorite fics category. The only reason I'm posting about this is because it's been eating me up this entire time and it's gonna be sooooo hard to explain to my shrink why exactly my numbers ran high on the log for that specific day.
