Time to Flip Out! . Finally got a chance to prep some beds—only about a month late 🙃 . Cleared over-wintered crap to the compost pile, left roots in soil, added a 50/50 compost / blended soil mix, hand-tilthed in some amendments (kelp & alfalfa meal, pinch o’ azomite, & mycorrhizae), & re-installed the drip 🥳 . Compost delivered in bulk is still steaming at center of pile, so letting sit a bit before planting into (hope the peas & potatoes survive 😬). . Two small beds remaining will be used as cold frames for seed starts, as soon as I build the frames 🙄 By that time will prob be warm enough to not need 🙃 But still expecting another cold snap sometime next couple weeks 🤔 .
