Bijoux de Nip

Designed For: PHS International Designed:2015

Bijoux de Nip is one of two successful product lines that I carried from concept to production for PHS International. This product line features an array of nipple accessories made in semi-precious stones, rhinestone crystals, pearls, feathers & glass beads. As such, the owners wanted this line to be decadent and luxurious in feel.

For package branding, I went with black, which is always sleek and sexy, a Tiffany blue, which is such a visually iconic color it’d be hard to miss, and a pale backdrop with a subtle repeat step-pattern, which was incredibly popular for handbags and accessories at the time. I wanted the logo to be bold and legible, so I used a clean-lined sanserif font for the majority of the word-mark. I chose to make ‘de’ a scripty font that could be reminiscent of something hanging off of something else – like these nipple adornments would do. I accented the long logo with a Fleur-de-lis in the ‘O’ of Bijoux. For the secondary logo, I created a script embellishment that would sit behind the BN at a 40% grey, so no matter if it were a light or dark background, it’d push the font to stand out smartly.

All photography, inserts, promotionals and advertisements were designed by me.
