You rest your head on his chest. Ever since he was younger, Shikamaru has adored doing this sort of thing. Just to look up at the clouds. It was a way for him to rest, and a way to just take a moment to reset the body. Reset the mind.

“That one looks like an ice cream bowl.” You say quietly as you point to it.

Shikamaru laughs, “I guess it does.”

He hums happily and wraps his arm around you to pull you even closer. You sigh in contentment. You never thought you’d have this kind of afternoon with your love.

“Mama, look!” Yuji squees happily. He shows you the fingerpainting he’s been working on for the last half-hour.

Your eyes look over and you smile happily. Yuji’s got paint all over, but the painting he’s showing you is so heartwarming. Three blobs together; clearly meant to depict your little family. You notice the blob that’s meant to depict you seems a little…big.

“Is that me?” You point to the one you think is you.

Yuji nods his head, “Yeah! It’s you, mama!”

You giggle softly. You wonder why he chose to make you look the biggest…especially in the belly area. You ask him about it and he begins to consider it.

“Cause! Daddy said he wanted mama to have another baby! Baby in your belly!”

You’re blushing now. You hear a choking noise coming from the living room, and when you look over you see your husband coughing. He clearly wasn’t expecting your son to say something like that. Kento looks at you, smiling shyly.

“He’s got a colorful imagination,” Nanami explains, but you aren’t sure what Yuji said is that much of a lie.

“Mama, papa! Look what I found!” Yuji exclaims, tugging on your sleeve.

You and Kento make your way outside. Kento keeps a protective hand on your back as you walk towards the tree that Yuji is talking about. You all look up and see a nest full of eggs. You and Kento share a sweet smile.

“The bird is going to have a baby!” Yuji cheers, looking up at the nest curiously. “Just like mama,”

He comes over to you, resting his face against your belly so softly. It touches your heart. Yuji is a soft and gentle boy with a big heart. He makes you so proud.

“Want to see the nest closer?” Kento asks his son. Yuji nods eagerly.

Kento hoists him up and tells Yuji not to touch the eggs, but just to look. You rub your tummy as you see your little boy’s eyes light up happily. 

“Little babies…” Yuji coos softly.

Drabbles(APRIL) day 1: Ladybug

“Look!” Yuji squeals as he points to something on the tree branch. “A ladybug, mama!”

Your whole body freezes. Did your son just point out a ladybug? You shudder as you look, hoping to make your son happy. You hold his hand as you push the stroller with his baby sister in it. Kento isn’t far; he’s taking pictures of the nature reserve that you’re all currently walking in. You’ve never seen him so peaceful and happy.

“Look, see!” Yuji tugs on your sleeve, pulling you closer to the tree branch.

Your eyes are wide as you look at the bug. It’s scaring you. Yuji doesn’t quite understand. You aren’t fond of insects. Kento looks over and he realizes what’s going on. He comes in and sweeps Yuji into his arms.

“So you want to look at the ladybug, hm?” Kento asks him, pressing a soft kiss to his son’s temple. “I don’t think your mom likes it too much.”

Yuji looks up at you, his eyes wide. “No? Don’t like the ladybug mama?”

You shake your head, “No I don’t. But I’m happy you like him, baby.”

Just then, the ladybug flies away, leaving your son and daughter in awe as they watch it.

Megumi looks at you, an indiscernible look in his eyes. He was finally showing you one of his abilities. You hadn’t developed your own powers yet, but you’ve known from a young age that you could see curses. And now being able to go to Jujutsu Tech, it just meant you’d be able to go to school with those who were like you.

Here you were, standing in the field and he put his hands together to form a shadow of a rabbit’s head. Your eyes widen as all these rabbits begin to pop up. There’s so many of them, you know why he asked to take you outside to see his powers. Then he comes over to you, taking your hand in his.

“So, what do you think?” he asks. The rabbits are hopping around and you bend down to pet one of them.

“I think,” you say as you bring the bunny up to your nose and you nuzzle your face in the soft fur. “I think I’m ready to learn more.”

Drabbles day 29: Brick house

“Oh! A brick house?” you ask him, resting against the headrest of the seat.

Hiromi laughs, “Didn’t I tell you about it?”

You look at him and smile, “Yeah, but I love the way you describe it.”

Right now, you two were driving towards your new home. Hiromi had gotten a bonus at work and surprised you with the keys to your new home. It wasn’t far from where you lived presently, but it was nestled into a quieter neighborhood.

“Hmm, maybe you just like hearing me repeat myself,” Hiromi toys as he turns down into the driveway.

“Awh, you cryin’?” Gojo taunts, bringing it even closer.

“That’s enough, Satoru. She’s clearly frightened.” Suguru comes to your defense. He wraps his arm around you, noticing how you’re shaking.

Gojo scoffs but he places the little caterpillar back on the branch. This would be the last time you went out in the park with Satoru.

“My bad for thinking we could have been something more. My bad for thinking that everything we’ve done up until now feels way too fucking real and has crossed too many lines for us to be just friends with benefits.”

It started with some drinks after work. Just some shots and a beer or two before you headed back home for the night. A sorcerer's life wasn't long and full of risks. And you knew that getting involved with Nanami was probably just going to end up being some sort of fling. Not that the man saw you as beneath him, but he had said to you many times that he didn't want anything serious.

The sex was always good. He treated you like you were the person he desired most in this world. He would take you out on dates too, claiming he wanted some company. Kento said he found it too cheap and odd to just have sex.

No matter what happened, you always found your way into his bed. Nights turned into weeks, and weeks into months. By the time you had been doing this for a year, it was much too late to say you didn't have feelings. You couldn't turn back the clock. Still Nanami was steadfast in his belief that this should be casual and not stay tied down to you.

Kento stares at you shocked for a minute. Then he's quick to cup your cheek and pull you in for a kiss. It feels surreal to be kissed like this. You feel all of his love in this one kiss.

"I was a fool to let this continue to be casual...because I've been so in love with you."

You wrap your arms around him, allowing him to pick you up in his arms. Kento pins you to the wall, and he presses your lips to his in a searing kiss.

You look at him and in this light, he looks just like an angel. Nanami smiles at you, happy to be able to show you the beauty of the garden he’s been cultivating for so long. You can tell that there is magic here.

“It’s beautiful,” you gasp as Kento leads you further into the garden.

There’s a smile that spreads on Kento’s face. When you mentioned doing something like this, he was immediately excited about it. Nothing better than to spend a relaxing day outdoors with you. He plans on taking you home and cooking you a succulent dinner.

Just then, you both notice something off near the shore. Kento groans, rowing closer towards it. It’s a curse.
