Will Jo Wilson ever be allowed to have a medical storyline?
I love her so much and yet I need to scream. The fact her entire character was written so hard around Alex Karev, and now he's been gone for years and still... I can't enjoy her scenes with Link sometimes - even though I think they are cute, though I also think he was such a good fit for Amelia to counter her own darkness - because I want her to have something all her own. Relevant to the show taking place in a hospital. She's a surgeon AND an ob/gyn. (That abortion scene last season? Perfect.)
a) Yasuda was so right to yell at her and for a moment I thought that would lead to something. lol silly me b) Also funny to yell at the least doctoring-doctor of them all. Yes, Jo was Sam's doctor and yet everything somehow was more about the flirting and then leading up to JoLink than about medicine. Ugh.

The pages in this category are redirects from names that are unsuitable for inclusion in a printed version of Wikipedia. To add a redirect to this category, place {{Rcat shell|{{R unprintworthy}}}} on the second new line (skip a line) after #REDIRECT [[Target page name]]. For more information follow the links. Never substitute redirect template(s), nor place them on soft redirects.
See also the complete list of redirect templates and the redirect style guide.
This is a maintenance category, used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project. It is not part of the encyclopedia and contains non-article pages, or groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories.
This is a tracking category. It builds and maintains a list of pages primarily for the sake of the list itself. They are not part of the encyclopedia's categorization scheme.
This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (appearance → show hidden categories) is set.
These categories can be used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attention en masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.
These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or sub-categories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).
"Unprintworthy" redirects are redirect pages on Wikipedia that aid online navigation, but would have little or no value as pointers to target articles in a hard-copy book. The name of a redirect may be unprintworthy for a number of reasons, including being nearly identical to the name of the target page, containing typographical errors, or not being encyclopaedic. Redirects are not unprintworthy just because the name may be offensive to some, unless the name is also not encyclopaedic.

EDIT: Done and done, har reblogget resultatene her!
Fant en liste her over hvordan man gjør det i de fleste populære nettleserne her: Lenkeee :)
Men her er i hvert fall noe :)

Credentials   “Certification” in Music Teaching  (2014)
Occupation   Co–Owner, The Bates Sisters’ Boutique  (2019—); Piano Teacher  (c. 2014—?) (See Also); Stay–at–Home Wife / Mother (2013—)
Charles “Chad” Stephen Paine III  (b. April 18, 1987)
Parents   Charles “Stephen” + Tammy Paine
Child #   2 of 10

Early Education   ATI/IBLP Homeschooling  (Note—Chad’s father serves on IBLP’s Board of Directors.)
Higher Education   A.A. in Youth Ministry  (2010)  (Note—Duggar Data is unclear on where Chad went to school.  It is only described as “a private college” on Chad + Erin’s blog.)
Credentials   [ None Apparent ]  (Note—Duggar Data really, really tried to find some credentials for Chad, but ultimately wasn’t able to.  Tennessee public records don’t have him down as a licensed general contractor, real estate agent, home inspector, engineer, etc.  In Tennessee, it’s apparently perfectly legal to work as an unlicensed contractor, so long as the project is valued at <$25,000.)
Occupation   Owner, Paine Construction (2017—)
… Previously   Office Manager, Noble Metals (Recycling Facility) (Oak Ridge, TN; 2013—2017); Staff Member, Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) (Oak Brook, IL; c. 2008—2013) (Chad worked in the Publications Department, and also led two youth programs—LifeFocus and Journey to The Heart.)
The Relationship—
First Meeting   February 11, 2011  (Friday)
Location   IBLP’s Valentine’s Day Banquet at IBLP Headquarters; Oak Brook, IL
Details   In 2011, Chad was working for IBLP.  He attended the Valentine Banquet as a photographer, and that’s where he first met Erin—who was at the banquet with her family, doing the music and singing.  The Paines invited the Bateses over for dinner the next day, and that’s when Chad + Erin took notice of each other as a potential romantic partner.
Tumblr media
Pre–Courtship   c. April 29, 2011
Location   ATI Regional Conference; Big Sandy, TX
Details   After meeting in February 2011, Erin + Chad met again “later on that year,” at a conference in Texas—almost certainly the ATI Conference in Big Sandy.  During the conference, Erin + Chad got to know each other better, and “from then on ... pursued a relationship.”
Timing   In 2011, the ATI Conference ran from April 26–29.  Since Erin + Chad say they got to know one other better, then pursued a relationship “from then on,” Duggar Data uses the last day of that conference—April 29, 2011—as their Estimated Pre–C.S. Start Date.
Tumblr media
Courtship   December 4, 2012  (Tuesday)
Location   Sky Lift Park, Crockett Mountain; Gatlinburg, TN
Details   Chad surprised Erin, picking her up at college for a date.  They drove to Gatlinburg, accompanied by Gil + Kelly Jo.  Chad ‘courtposed’ to Erin on the Sky Lift, which offers a scenic view of Crockett Mountain.  Afterward, they enjoyed a nice dinner at The Peddler Steakhouse.
Announced   January 7, 2013 on The Bates Family Website  (+34 Days)
Tumblr media
Engagement   August 5, 2013  (Monday)
Location   Whitestone Country Inn; Kingston, TN
Details   After a day of activities including lunch and canoeing, a horse and buggy met Chad + Erin, then dropped them off at a gazebo by the lake.  Chad proposed, Erin said yes, and they hugged for the first time.  Chad then treated Erin to a “luxurious” seven–course dinner.
Announced   August 10, 2013 on The Bates Family Website  (+15 Days)
Tumblr media
Wedding   November 2, 2013, Unknown Time  (Saturday)

MOH   Tori Bates  (Erin’s Sister)
Best Man   Jordan Webster  (Chad’s Friend)
Announced   N/A  (No Formal / Media Announcement)
Featured On   19 Kids & Counting (4–15–14), “Wedding Bells”
Honeymoon   Oak Wood Arms Hotel; Shannon, Ireland / Rental House; Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland
Tumblr media
The Quiver—
1st Miscarriage  (c. March 2014)
Pregnancy Announced   N/A  (No Pre–Loss Announcement)
Due Date   October 15, 2014  (Bradley Bates’s Due Date – 1 Week)  (See Also Bringing Up Bates (2–15–15), “Welcome Grandbaby Bates.”)
Date of Loss   c. March 2014  (Duggar Data uses March 1, 2014.)
Loss Announced   March 17, 2014 on Chad + Erin’s Blog
2nd + 3rd Miscarriages  (2014)
After her 1st Miscarriage, Erin miscarried twice more.  (See Bringing Up Bates (1–8–15), “Courtship and Marriage.”  See Also.)  According to Erin’s OB–GYN, Dr. Vick, a clotting disorder—specifically, a deficiency in folic acid plus excess in PAI–1—cased all three losses.  (Id.)  With regard to Miscarriages #2 and #3, very little data is available.  Due dates and loss dates are unknown.
After Dr. Vick diagnosed Erin’s clotting disorder, daily Heparin injections during pregnancy enabled her carry multiple pregnancies to term...

Charles Stephen “Carson” Paine IV  (b. May 14, 2015)
Pregnancy Announced   January 22, 2015 on Bringing Up Bates (1–22–15), “Training Up Bates”  (143 Days / 20W, 3D Along)
Sex & Name Revealed   March 5, 2015 on Bringing Up Bates (3–5–15), “A Big Bates Thanksgiving”  (See Also) (185 Days / 26W, 3D Along)
Due Date   June 8, 2015
Birthdate & Time   May 14, 2015, 10:10 PM  (25 Days Early)
Weight & Length   6 Pounds; 19 Inches
Birth Announced   May 14, 2015 by People  (Exclusive; +1 Day) (Note—People reported Carson’s DOB as May 15.  This contradicts Erin + Chad and Gil + Kelly Jo, and is clearly an error.)
Birth Details   Erin was hoping to get an epidural, but was unable to do so, due to a precipitous—i.e., extraordinarily fast—labor.  She gave birth <2 Hours after her water broke.  According to Dr. Vick, the intense labor was caused by a placental abruption, and Erin easily could have bled to death if Carson hadn’t arrived so quickly.  (See Bringing Up Bates (8–6–15), “Erin’s Little Miracle.”)

So, I decided to start watching a certain painter that was popular on P B S, but I'm using prismacolor instead of paint and seeing how it turns out. I think that I actually like this thus far.  This was done in approximately half-an-hour while watching the first episode. This artwork, although physically done by me, is inspired from the first Episode of "The Jo y of Pain ting" hosted by B ob Ro ss. Please do let me know if you would like to see more results of me following along to his instructions. This is a bit experimental.

Prompt idea - pregnant jo ( not that far along) and Alex plays with her belly and talks to the baby.
One Shot #7
Alex had spent his entire day at work itching to go home. He took every useless page he received just to help pass the time. It had been two weeks since he had last seen Jo, who had been trekking all over the country for fellowship interviews like a politician campaigning for votes. They had spoken nightly over the phone, but found it difficult to update each other on their daily events when one of them would fall asleep before they could even ask how their day was. They had both been so busy lately, but tonight they were finally going to regroup and spend the entire night catching each other up over junk food and crappy b movies.
When Alex arrived home, Chinese food in hand, he felt as giddy as a child on Christmas morning. He went over his mental list of questions he couldn’t wait to ask her about and tell her all of the notable moments he’s had since she’d been away. He wanted to know every minuscule detail. He wondered which hospital offered her the best compensation package, which city she felt was the one she’d most want to live in, and which interviewer had the douchiest tie. As he slipped into the dimly lit loft a slight wave of disappointment washed over him. He flicked on a small light to see that Jo was already curled up on their bed completely passed out. Alex gave a small sigh as he stepped over her unzipped suitcase with its containments spewed across the loft as if it had stumbled inside their house and vomited everywhere. He placed the food on the kitchen island and tossed his jacket and shoes amidst Jo’s pile of clothes. He rubbed at his face trying to make peace with the realization that their grand reunion plans were going to have to be postponed.
With Jo in a coma, Alex crawled softly on top of their bed. He laid on his side with his head propped up by his hand and he reached out to rest his opposite hand on Jo’s stomach. “Dude!” he whispered towards her prominent bump, “I told you not to grow anymore while you were gone!” Alex smoothed his hand up and down the arch of her stomach and slightly pulled back when he felt a small foot kicking at his hand. Or maybe it was an arm, he thought. He placed his hand back on top of her stomach, holding in anticipation for another movement. “I hope you didn’t wear your mom out too much on your adventure. She was really excited to take this trip with you, but you really gotta knock it off with giving her all that heart burn. It’s not cool, little man.” He smiled as he felt a flutter underneath his palm, a feeling he had missed the most since they’d been gone. Just then, he looked up towards Jo as her hand rested on top of his. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you up.” He said as he moved closer towards her head, the two of them settling comfortably in mirroring positions.
“Little girl.” Jo mumbled.
“What?” He questioned.
“You said, ‘little man.’ But she’s a little girl. I can tell.”
Alex leaned closer towards Jo and gave her a gentle welcome home kiss that felt as reassuring as a warm blanket on an unusually chilly day. “What did you do? Go in for one of your interviews and then afterwards find a nearby OB nurse to give you an ultrasound and confess the gender?”
Jo gave a bright smile and shook her head, “you’ve uncovered my secret.” She reached out her hand to feel the coarse stubble on his face, “I missed you.” She said, as she shimmied closer towards Alex to kiss him again. “But, I’m so freaking tired.”
Alex rolled over and reached towards the floor to grasp a fallen throw blanket. He covered Jo’s body and sat up, “I’ll put your Chinese in the fridge for later.”
Jo flipped her body and followed Alex around the loft with her eyes, “can we get breakfast tomorrow morning?” She asked. “I really want some coffee that doesn’t come from the same place you buy gas.”
Alex pinched some lo mien with his fingers and dropped it into his mouth, “we can do whatever we want tomorrow.”
“…Whatever?” She inquired with a suggestive tone.
Alex looked up from his dinner to see Jo playfully wink at him. A strand of noodle dropped from his mouth and onto the counter as he started to respond quickly with excitement, “Whatever and then some.”
Jo chuckled as she yawned and rubbed her eye. She curled the blanket closer to her body, “the way you slurp those noodles really gets me going.”
“I bet it does.” He smiled to himself as he watched Jo close her eyes and start to fall back asleep. Though their plans had changed, just their small intimate interaction and having her close to him again made him feel more complete than he had in weeks.
