also additional note on the whole ayaka and kenjirou pretending to not know abt the mekatrio's powers, the fact that they successfully fooled kano and ayano into thinking they hadnt known abt their powers is T_T kano especially when u consider his unhealthy mentality towards adults:

but by letting kano feel that he was lying successfully to them, kano himself was able to feel more confident in his abilities and could attain a sense of autonomy that way.... ohhh T_T and u can tell from texts in the later novels that kano truly did come to love his foster parents:

he was able to trust adults thanks to their kindness... TT____TT
