HEATED COACHELLA STAGE

After many attendees holding their breath for the next bold move MinAri might enact, it seems as though their shyness finally dissipated.

While weekend two unfortunately marked the last performance held by ATEEZ on a Coachella stage as of this year, the group left an ever lasting impression with powerful choreography paired with breath taking visuals and raw vocals. Through the numerous clips circulating online there is a specific instance that has been sending social media platforms into a reposting frenzy, one involving a rather passionate display by main rapper, Mingi, and lead vocalist, Himari.

While viewers were expecting something such as this to happen due to the intimate moment shared between the two during their first performance, it seems as though none were truly ready to witness it with their own eyes on stage. The interlude to their song 'Arriba' left gasps echoing in the crowd as Mingi pulled the maknae in for a true lover's kiss, an arm tightly draped across her waist whilst the other motioned for attendees to make some noise. In contrast to the beginning of the group's career where the two saw their reputation nearly torn to pieces following dating rumors, which were later disproved as nothing more than a scheme to have the vocalist removed, the crowd showed their support through loud cheers and vibrant excitement.

Their own bandmates could be seen encouraging them as some used water bottles to simulate rain, every artist on that stage including backup dancers visibly enjoying the relaxed atmosphere that had been created. Following the performance several members had gone live for a few minutes, one of them being Seonghwa who briefly mentioned a comment refering to the heated kiss as the vocalist could be seen giggling in the background prior to him playfully scolding her.

'That...we definitely expected it since he had talked about it during rehearsal, but I thought it was going to be like the first day. It flustered me too but seeing everyone having fun made me happy.'

Despite these heated stage interactions no official label has been placed on their relationship due to no statements coming out regarding the situation, leading some to believe that it was no more than a rehearsed act to rile up fans or that whatever is happening between them is simply a more intimate level of friendship. There is a possibility that this moment stemmed from the artists' immersion in the performance as well as the heat of the moment, as the youngest is after all a member of the 'Demon Line' and both are known to have rather intense stage personas.

It seems as though neither artist not the company intends to lift the mystery surrounding their relation to one another as of yet, leaving netizens to create countless speculations without the certainty of a confirmation. One thing that everyone can be sure of however is that this group knows how to set a stage on fire no matter who the people watching might be, living up to their newly earned nickname of 'Pirate Kings of Sahara'.

Watching the members run around the dorm like headless chickens was one of the funniest things Heeyoung had seen in a while. The company had given them a week to travel home and enjoy time with their families and now 8 out of 9 members had started packing way too late!

The girl should have known that the probability of the boys starting to pack a few days ahead was zero to none and she was right!

Why she wasn´t packing her own bag? Heeyoung didn´t like to go home!

Her parents lived in Seoul, so if technically she already was home and as far as she knew her parents were currently not even in the country. And staying with her older brother was not an option to her!

That left her as the only member not packing in a hurry. Instead, she was sitting at the kitchen counter with some cut up vegetables to watch the chaos that was Ateez!

“Noona just because you already packed, doesn´t mean that you can´t help us!”

Mingi whined as he rushed from the living room towards his own room.

Oh yeah, none of them knew that she was going to stay back! Heeyoung wasn´t hiding it, it was more that none of them asked if she was going to see her family.

“Ah Mingi-ah, where would be the fun in that huh?” she answered and bit into a piece of sliced up cucumber.

Hongjoong made a face of disgust at the offending food item before hurrying of with his laptop.

Heeyoung could hear the grumble of her fellow Matz member about how she was going to turn into a rabbit, if she kept eating the veggies!

“It wouldn´t hurt if you tried it too every now and then, you know!”

“Never!”

The leader hurried back, having forgotten the charger, which was still lying on the dinner table.

“Hwa, Sannie and Yunho are going to get picked up in an hour. Mingi and Jongho tomorrow morning and Wooyoung is going to visit Yeosangies family before driving to his parents! I won´t go home until all of you are safe inside a company car or from your families so spill my lovely Heeyoungie, when are you getting picked up?”

The girl took another piece of vegetable and watched as Hongjoong pulled another face.

“I´m not getting picked up.” She stated after having gulped down her food.

“So the manager is driving you home?”

The raised eyebrow of her fellow 98-liner told Heeyoung that apparently he still hadn´t caught on.

*Boys!* she thought and rolled her eyes a little.

“I´m not going home Joong-ah. I´m staying here and enjoying my alone time for a bit.”

With those words, the girl got up from her seat and went to clean up her snack bowl.

Hongjoong was frozen to the spot, blinking rapidly at his best friend.

“Come again?”

With a sigh the girl repeated her words.

“I´m staying here. My parents are somewhere in France and I really don´t want to spend my time in a house I’m not welcome in! So I’m not going!”

He could respect that. If Hongjoong were in his fellow rappers position, he too would choose to stay behind in an empty dorm rather than in a big lonely house where she would only be criticized!

For Heeyoung, the topic was over and done with as she walked past the still flabbergasted leader to go to her own room.

For Hongjoong however, the topic was definitely not over! He almost sprinted into his own shared room where Seonghwa was building a new Lego set on the floor! His bag and suit case already neatly placed by his nightstand.

“What´s got you in such frenzy?” The eldest asked, not taking his eyes away from his toy.

“Did you know that Hee-ah isn´t going home?”

Hongjoong picked up his phone from the desk, searching through his contacts.

“No, but I’m not surprised either. She doesn´t even call it home so why would she willingly go there?”

The leader grimaced.

He too should have known about Heeyoungs intention to stay back!

Finding the contact he was searching for, the boy called his mother.

“Hongjoongie, do you need your appa to pick you up already?”

“Eomma, no. I want to ask you something. One of the members is going to stay back in the dorm because their parents are out of country and I-“

“Of course you can bring them! Who is it?”

“Ah, it´s Heeyoung-ah!”

For a moment all he could was his own breathing before the woman on the other end of the line answered cheerfully!

Hongjoongs heart sang at the prospect of his first child being allowed to stay with him.

“Ah thank you eomma! I´ll text appa when we´re ready!”

“No need to thank me my baby. The members are just as much our family as they are yours! I´ll see you two tomorrow!”

Hanging up, the second oldest marched right out of his room into Heeyoung´s.

The girl was spread out on her bed, while watching something on her phone.

“Pack your bags; you are not staying here alone!”

He said, hands on his hips and waiting until the female rapper moved to start packing.

Heeyoung was slowly getting annoyed with the boy.

“I told you, I’m not going to that place!”

“I know you´re not! Because you´re coming with me instead! That is not up for discussion. Eomma already knows you´re coming so get to it! Now!”

Heeyoung tried to argue but seeing as Hongjoong had his, I´m-the-captain-look on she knew it was a lost cause.

The next day, HongYoung was getting picked up in the evening after the rest of the boys had cleared out.

Wooyoung had pressed a chaste kiss to his Noona´s cheek, causing her to grimace and scramble to get away from the affection of the younger before following Yeosang out the door.

The drive was short. Annyang wasn´t far from Seoul, only about a half an hour drive and Heeyoung listened to Hongjoong talking to his father.

It almost gave her whiplash, how fast he turned, from leader to youngest son in the span of 2 seconds!

In the evening, after Hongjoong´s mother had threatened her son with her slipper to hand over his laptop and actually rest for the time of their stay, the two rappers had settled down in Hongjoongs childhood room.

He had insisted on the girl taking the bed and him taking the floor, resulting in an argument which had the Kim parents remember the times when their sons were still children.

Amused by the bickering, they watched as their youngest sons temper flared a little, pulling the captain card when he realized that Heeyoung wouldn´t relent otherwise!

The older woman had to hide a snort as she saw Heeyoung stuck out her tongue at Hongjoong when he turned his back to her and every bit of doubt about a girl and boy sharing the same room flew out of the window.

Heeyoung wasn´t a future daughter in law she had to worry about, more like the sister Hongjoong never got to have…

With the girl tucked under her blanket and Hongjoong under his, the light was dimmed and silence fell over the room.

The girl could hear her leaders breathing even out, indicating that he had already fallen asleep.

She sighed softly as her insomnia made it hard to fall asleep. If she had been at the dorm, Heeyoung would have just gotten up and watched some TV in the living room, but this wasn´t the dorm!

Not wanting to disturb the boys sleep, Heeyoung decided to get up and leave the room altogether. If she was going to stay up all night, she was going to do it on her own condition!

And that´s how she found herself on the little balcony of the Kim Household!

Her phone was playing a soothing tune and gazing into the stars, she enjoyed the calm serenity of the night.

The night was silent. Something Heeyoung wasn´t used to after having lived in the busy city of Seoul practically all her life! The only noise she could hear was the rustling of a bush a little further into the garden.

A little orange kitten was making its way through the garden, past the flowerbeds Hongjoongs mother had grown there and towards the female rapper.

Meowing at her to give the small animal some attention, Heeyoung bent down to pet it as it came closer, only to jump onto her lap and purr the night away.

Surprised by the sudden affection but not unhappy, the girl relented and let the cat nap on her.

She was sure that it wasn´t a stray, as the feline looked healthy and fed so it probably was a neighbors cat that had gone on a little adventure of his own.

Heeyoung let her mind wander, thinking about the day and how warmly her leader’s parents had greeted her and invited her into their home!

Never once in her life, had she seen her own parents show that kind of warmth.

They were never there and the girl and her older brother had been raised by nannies most of the time! And if they were there, they only ever cared about the golden child. And that was not her!

Did she miss it growing up? Yes and no!

You can´t miss something you never got, but Heeyoung did see the way the other parents acted around their children and it made the girl wonder why it was so different for her and her brother.

Why couldn´t her parents act like that?

The soft stroking of her hand, paired with the gentle music still playing, was slowly lulling her into a trance which was only broken by the door being opened from the inside.

It was Sang-mi, Hongjoongs mother, wrapped in a sleeping robe, checking for the source of the music!

“Oh sweetheart, what are you still doing awake? It´s almost 1 in the morning?”

The woman asked, sounding a little worried.

Heeyoung flinched at being addressed so suddenly and the cat on her lap threw the older woman a nasty look as if to say, “Why are you bothering us?”.

Whipping her head around to look at the woman who was obviously asleep not too long ago, Heeyoung bowed as best as she could without disturbing the cat any further.

“Sang-mi-ssi, I’m sorry! Did I wake you? I can stop the music if it´s too loud?”

“Don´t be ridiculous dear and please it´s eomeoni for you!”

Sang-mi sat down in the other chair next to her.

“And now tell me what´s on that beautiful mind of yours. Joong-ah mentioned you have trouble sleeping sometimes, is that it?”

The worry in her tone was still audible and Heeyoung felt bad.

“I´m used to it, please don´t worry about me eomeoni! I was just thinking and enjoying the quiet. That´s hard to do with a dorm filled with boys…”

Heeyoung looked at the cat, scratching behind its ear.

Sang-mi´s eyes fell on the feline as well. She hummed in understanding.

“You know, Hongjoong speaks very highly of you. Always has ever since he wanted you to join him as a trainee! And I think, whatever he saw in you, was only a small fraction of what´s hiding behind all those walls you have built around yourself!”

Not knowing what to say, Heeyoung just looked at the other woman who saw her silence as invitation to continue talking.

“I don´t know why you wanted to stay back in the dorm. I’m guessing it´s not just because your parents aren’t home but I want you to know that, if you want, you can join my son anytime when he visits us. You´ll always have a place here if you need it okay sweetheart?”

Heeyoung could feel herself tearing up. Not enough to outright cry, but enough to have her eyes glaze over.

The softness of Sang-mi offering her home to her, made the girl want to curl into the warmth she radiated!

“Home was never with my parents. Not even when I was still a trainee at Pledis, and for a long time I just thought I didn´t have one. I had a place where I lived but not… a home…”

“And now?”

“Now? The boys are home to me… the dorm is because that´s where the boys are and even when they´re gone, the dorm still feels like it…”

“Home isn´t a place to most people! It´s where your loved ones are!”

The girl could only nod.

It made sense!

The members had been the only thing keeping her upright at times and throughout all the struggles and fear they had gone through before their debut, it had always been 9 makes one team and nothing less!

The rain of thought got cut short as a yawn threatened to overcome Heeyoung.

“I think it´s time for you to go to bed now too. Don´t want to have my boy having a heart attack because you suddenly vanished into thin air.”

With these words Sang-mi got up and went inside, only stopping to turn and say one more thing before vanishing behind the door.

“By the way Heeyoung-ah, this cat you’re holding, hates every one! You’re the first person I know he´s that cuddly with!”

The cat blinked sleepily at Heeyoung and as if he knew that she would be getting up now, it jumped down and trotted back into the dark.

Heeyoung had to gather her thoughts before she too, went inside.

In Hongjoongs room, the leader was peacefully snoring without a care in the world!

The talking with his mother had stirred something inside of her, something that didn´t want to sleep alone in the bed and that´s how the girl found herself kneeling down next to her same aged friend, shaking him ever so slightly awake.

It was like he had a sensor for when he was needed because the boy could probably sleep through an earthquake if he wanted to, but his leader sense made him wake up anytime one of the members needed something!

A little grumpy but none the less awake enough to comprehend he was being talked to, he voiced out a rough, “What?”, while trying to open his eyes.

“Can I sleep with you?”

The request paired with how tiny the girl sounded and looked made him soft and without further ado he lifted the blanket he had been wrapped in, to let her crawl under it.

It was like having a giant clingy teddy bear attached to his front and Hongjoong, skinship hater number 1, wouldn´t have it any other way!

Sena Moon was born in North Bend, South Carolina on August 2, 1999 to office worker parents. She has an older brother, but not much is known about him. From a young age, Sena had always been in love with music and would always sing, dance, and even do small performances in her bedroom. She had taken a liking to artist like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Girls Generation especially as her reason for wanting to be a performer. However, her parents were very against her being a singer as they didn't see it as a "real career" as they would tell her.

In 2012, Sena would get the chance to go to South Korea for the summer to stay with her aunt who was a musical actress. Sena would go with her aunt to her practices and performances and would fall even deeper in love with music. By the end of summer, Sena would beg her aunt to let her stay with her and go to school in Korea. Sena's aunt would actual gain custody of Sena during this time which allowed her to stay with her aunt in Korea. Sena would struggle with adapting to living in a new country and culture for the first few months, before she was able to begin to fit in. Through her middle school years, Sena would begin to perform at school festivals and talent shows whether by herself or with other girls and this quickly helped become scouted by different companies.

In 2013, Sena would be scouted by Sour Grapes Media and would become a trainee with her aunt's approval. During this time at Sour Grapes, Sena would seen as one of their most popular trainees mainly due to her singing and dancing. This would eventually help Sena make the lineup of the company's newest girl group Cupid's Rejects, and would debut as their Main Vocalist and Face of the Group in 2014. Sena would remain with the group until 2016 when she was removed from the group due to having used "violent language and misuse of power towards staff." this statement would eventually be proven false by her group members and staff that have worked with Sena. This would lead into a legal battle with Sena and her aunt suing the company and winning.

After this scandal, Sena would become an independent idol for several months, appearing on several popular variety shows and even releasing a few solo projects. This would last until she is approached by someone from KQ Entertainment who wanted to recruit her to their company. Sena would agree and become a trainee under the company around mid-2016. Sena would become a trainee again and rumors would spread about her debuting a soloist. Nothing officially ever came from these rumors. KQ would later announced in 2017 that Sena along with her fellow trainees would all be auditioning for MixNine and while she passed the audition she would end up ranking 14th.

After this in 2018, Sena would announced to joining the company's trainee project KQ Fellaz. Sena would finish her training and in October of 2018, she would debut in the idol group ATEEZ as a Vocalist and Performer of the group.

It had been a long, exhaustive, excruciating day for Yuri. With back to back practices, vocal lessons and schedules, she wanted nothing more than to throw herself in the comfort of her brother’s arms — just like when she was younger. She hadn’t seen Jae in a few weeks — which was the longest time she went without visiting him for years. She didn’t realize how much stress Jae had relieved her of until now, and she swore she was never going to go without her brother for this long again.

Thankfully, Jae had given her his spare key when he moved out of the dorms, telling her to use it for ‘emergency purposes only’ — which resulted in her breaking the rule just an hour after he handed the key to her. To be fair — she had just heard that she would be able to meet one of her favorite artists due to their comeback schedules overlapping, and it was quite the emergency.

Yuri knew she should have texted Jae before she came over — because she wasn’t even sure if anyone was home. If Jae wasn’t there, she knew Bambi, Jae’s dog, would be there, and nothing was more therapeutic than getting cuddles from an overly excited dog — expect for, actually going to therapy, which was something Yuri wasn’t able to do recently, not with her hectic schedule.

Yuri opened the door to Jae’s apartment and closed it behind her, sliding off her shoes and putting on her house slippers — ones with an adorable bunny face and bunny ears attached, courtesy gift from Jae’s three year boyfriend, Jeonghan.

Jae and Jeonghan had lived together for under a year — the couple only moving in together at the beginning of the year. Jeonghan and Yuri were acquaintances before he fell in love with her brother — and they had slowly became better friends as his and Jae’s relationship progressed.

Jeonghan had been home almost everytime she came over when she had an “emergency” — and slowly got used to hearing her obnoxious yell as soon as she entered the house. But this time, Yuri didn’t let out a scream or slam the door behind her, instead, she was slowly walking into the living room, praying that her brother was home. She could feel her emotions starting to bubble up in her throat again, tears beginning to cloud her vision. She swore she could have burst when Bambi excitedly jumped down ran towards her, surprising Jeonghan, who had been cuddling her before she left him.

“Oh, Yuri. I didn’t hear you come in. I must be going deaf from the amount of times you screamed coming in.” Jeonghan chuckled, frowning when Yuri didn’t laugh for comment, only absently mindlessly scratching behind Bambi’s ears. “Is everything alright?” Jeonghan asked, furrowing his eyebrows even more when he heard the girl sniff, wiping under her eyes with her sweatshirt. He never saw Yuri be vulnerable in front of him — it almost scared him to see the girl in tears. Something had to be very wrong in order for Yuri to break down her walls so easily, and Jeonghan didn’t know what to do in response.

“Is Jae home?” Yuri asks instead of answering, slowly raising her head to look over at Jeonghan, only to look back down when she saw his concerned expression. Fuck, she couldn’t hold back her emotions for a few more minutes — and now she had someone worried for her. She couldn’t help but feel like a burden when Jeonghan got up from his spot on the couch to move infront of her, crouching down to where she sat on the ground.

“No, he’s not home. He went grocery shopping,” Jeonghan answered, awkwardly clearing his throat when Yuri only turned away from him, hurriedly wiping her face — in hopes to wipe away any expression of pain. “You could call him, i’m sure he would pick up —”

“No, no. It’s okay, I think i’ll just go home. I’ll call him later.” Yuri said, pushing herself up and attempting to walk towards to door, halting when Jeonghan stood in front of her. Yuri tried to move around him, but the man only moved with her, blocking her in. “Jeonghan, please, let me go home.” Yuri sighed exasperatedly, biting her lip in annoyance when Jeonghan continued to block her, eventually grabbing her shoulders to keep her from moving.

“I’m not letting you leave when you’re this upset — now sit, and tell me what I can do to help.” Jeonghan stated, and if Yuri had any energy left in her body, she would have pushed past him and smarted off to him, but she had no motivation to continue to fight with man. With a defeated sigh, Yuri threw herself onto the couch, pulling a blanket from the side and wrapping herself in it, resting her head on the armrest.

“I really don’t want to talk about it.” Yuri muttered, swallowing harshly in hopes that it would get rid of her tears. “I know you want to help, but I just don’t want to talk about it...please.” Yuri said after a few beats of silence, her voice only being a pained whisper. She saw Jeonghan sigh and moved to sit next to her, leaning back and resting his head against the back of the sofa, turning his head to look at her after a few minutes.

“Are you sure? Because i’m a really good listener.”

Yuri knew that Jeonghan wouldn’t give up on the subject anytime soon — his expression mimicking one of a kicked puppy. Yuri couldn’t push him away again — his pout pulling at her heartstrings. So, with another defeated sigh, Yuri pushed herself up again to sit, bring her knees to her chest and turning to face Jeonghan, looking back down to her hands when she started talking.

“I don’t know...i’ve just been really stressed lately. I have no time at all, I don’t even have time to go to therapy. It’s been so busy — and I know that I should be happy because that means Ateez is getting more popular but — it’s so exhausting.” Yuri admitted, her voice cracking when she realized how tired she truly was. “I just — I can’t handle it. I cant constantly be going from schedule to schedule without any break at all, I just can’t do that. And everyone else seems to be fine, they’re tired, but they still manage to smile through it all. I just feel like i’m holding my group back — in so many ways.”

Yuri raised her eyebrows after she finished talking — she hadn’t even opened up that much to her members. She knew that her feelings would hurt them, and that they would tell her over and over again that she wasn’t holding them back at all — but Yuri knew that there was some truth to it. Ateez missed out on so many opportunities just because they had a girl on their team — not even her popularity from the past could save them from the hate. In fact, it only made the hate stronger.

Yuri thought that she wouldn’t let the hate get to her — especially with her tough skin, but the comments were terrifying. They hit every wound Yuri had with a grain of salt, and left no remorse for her whatsoever.

“You aren’t holding your team back — not one bit. The boys might be able to smile through it, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t exhausted too. Some people are just better at masking it than others, and that’s okay.” Jeonghan said after awhile, softly smiling when Yuri looked up at him.

“When I first debuted, it was so busy. And it only got even busier — we barely even had time to sleep, let alone eat. Some members could handle the pressure...while some of us couldn’t. But that didn’t make them any lesser to us, because they were still our members at the end of the day. We are all human, we can’t be running full speed at life all the time.” Jeonghan finished, sighing as he thought about his earlier debut days. It was hard and stressful, but he had friends and family on his side to help him get through it.

Jeonghan wanted to be a person that Yuri trusted and could come to when things got hard, like she did tonight. He knew she originally came for her brother, but he was glad she stayed with him. He heard the girl sniffling next to him, so he quickly reached over and handed her the tissue box that was laying on the coffee table, calling Bambi back into the living room.

“Bambi! Give Yuri kisses!” Jeonghan said, giggling when Bambi laid on top on Yuri’s figure, attacking her with love and affection. Jeonghan couldn’t help but smile when he heard Yuri’s giggles, laughing as she attempted at pushing the dog away.

“You can call me Yeong-mi, Jeonghan.” Yuri said once Bambi calmed down, now resting her head in Yuri’s lap. “And thank you for the kind words, I really needed that.”

“Of course, I was a rookie once too.” Jeonghan joked, nudging Yuri’s side, scoffing when Yuri shook her head in disbelief. “I’m not that old!” Jeonghan protested, only for Yuri to sarcastically agree.

The two bickered back and forth about Jeonghan acting like he was an old man until they heard the front door creak open, Bambi waking up and running to attack the intruder, smelling for any treats in the grocery bags.

“Yeongmi? Why are you here?” Jae asked once he walked into the living room, freezing in his tracks when he say his sister lean over to put Jeonghan in a choke-hold, biting back his own amused chuckle.

“Shouldn’t you be excited to see me?” Yuri exclaimed, pushing herself off of the couch to slap her brother’s chest, laughing when he picked her up and threw her on the arm chair next to them, squishing her cheeks together. “Is this how you treat me after everything i’ve done for you?”

Jae could only sigh and roll his eyes, ruffling her hair before going to sit next to Jeonghan. “I don’t know if you breaking into my house every week is really doing something for me...” Jae mumbled, yelping when Jeonghan pinched his side.

“You should be nice to your sister! She comes over because she misses and loves you!” Jeonghan scolded, winking at Yuri when she giggled. Jae only shook his head and pulled his sister into a hug, smiling when she didn’t push him away.

“I love you very much, sis” Jae whispered, making Yuri almost break into tears again. She didn’t say anything, but Jae knew when Yuri wrapped her arms around him, that she loved him too. Yuri knew that as long as her brother was on her side, everything would be okay. Jae would always be on her side - no matter what.

And now, she knows she can count on Jeonghan too.

“Oh to witness sibling love - this is too precious!” Jeonghan yelled out, making both Yuri and Jae laugh, separating to see Jeonghan dramatically wiping away tears. Even with all of her hardships, Yuri wouldn’t wish for any other life.

hey guys! so i really want to get back into posting regularly - but i was literally crazy before i took a really massive break, and honestly it has been very overwhelming now that i have so many empty plot points. i don’t want to let go of them though, but i know i have to if i want to keep creating content. i was thinking to mainly focus on my nct girlies - and possibly yuri (ateez) and blaise (stray kids)….but what do you guys think?

i don’t want to delete my accounts, but i will probably just officially make them labeled inactive until i get inspiration.

The Plan

Time: February 2020

Summary: After Seungkwan learns about Jeonghan's little crush, he meets up with Wooyoung to come up with a plan to set the two up

a/n: this is the prequel to Set Up. i also suggest reading no way before this too. made this scenario in celebration of my 100 followers!! thank you guys so much for your love and support😘. this is also a teaser for next couple of fluff scenarios about jeonghan and amanda coming up. (it's about time🙄) I hope you all like it. pls let me know what you think.

“Let’s try it one more time.” Woozi instructed Seungkwan, who was currently in the booth recording.

“That's the 23rd time you’ve said that.” Jeonghan grumbled.

“This time with more emphasis on the ending.” The vocal leader ignored Jeonghan's commentary, making Joshua chuckle from his seat on the couch.

Seungkwan jotted down the note on his music sheet, “Okay.”

Jeonghan mentally groaned, sprawling his body along the couch and resting his head on Joshua’s lap. Woozi’s perfectionism had prolonged their recording session extremely long, keeping Jeonghan from getting some sleep in the comfort of his soft and cozy bed back at the dorm. Although he could get some sleep now while he’s waiting for his turn in the recording booth, his sensitive hearing just wouldn’t allow it.

He pulled out his phone in hopes to find something to entertain him. Aimlessly scrolling through twitter, he caught a quick glimpse of Amanda’s face. He instantly scrolled back up to the clip and clicked on it.

Nowadays he often finds himself admiring random photos and video clips of her as he scrolled through his private twitter, which was probably why many of her videos began popping up on his for you page.

Joshua snuck a glance at his fellow 95er friend's screen, “Is that another clip of Amanda?”

Jeonghan hummed a reply, fully engrossed in the video with a tender smile spread across his face. Joshua grinned, intrigued to see his friend interested in someone. A rare occurrence.

He was probably the only one that knew about Jeonghan’s interest in Amanda. He had sensed something between the two when he spotted them together backstage at MAMA last year. But everytime Joshua inquired about Jeonghan’s feelings for her, he always managed to find a way to dodge it. One of Jeonghan’s many talents.

“Great job! You're all done for today Seungkwan.” Woozi’s sudden compliment to Seungkwan drawed the two 95’s attention back. Jeonghan sprung up on the couch, swiftly putting his phone away, ready for his turn in the booth.

Seungkwan gave a thumbs up to him as he began gathering his things. The vocal leader spun his chair towards Jeonghan, “Let’s take a break for a few minutes before we start on your session.”

“No problem.” Jeonghan returned to his previous position on the couch. Although he wanted nothing more to finish his recording, he knew the break was more for Woozi than it was for him.

Woozi had been helping a majority of the members record their part since the beginning of the day. Plus the group has been diligently preparing for their upcoming tour these past few weeks, so of course he was extremely exhausted. The dark circles under his eyes and him chugging down his 8th cup of coca cola (the man has a serious obsession) only confirmed it.

“Good work today, Kwanie!” Jeonghan compliments his younger member.

“Thanks, hyung!” The younger member beamed, feeling proud to be getting compliments from his hyungs as he packed his bag.

Woozi sipped his drink before asking, “Are you going back to the dorms?”

“No, I’m meeting a dongsaeng.”

“Which one?” Joshua questioned, knowing well that Seungkwan sociability led him to easily make numerous friends in the industry.

“Ateez’s Wooyoung.”

Jeonghan’s ear perks up recalling the familiar name of the group and the member. He jerked up from laying on the couch startling the vocal team’s youngest member, “When did you become friends with him?”

“I’ve told you this before.”

A puzzled expression spread across the older member’s face, obviously not recalling it, “I don’t think so.”

“I did. Backstage at MAMA. Ringing any bells?” Jeonghan remained clueless, triggering Seungkwan to let out an exasperated huff, “Forget it. I’m going now. See ya.”

“Wait!” Jeonghan suddenly blurted, which not only baffled Seungkwan and the other two members witnessing the scene but mostly himself.

“Pfftt.” Everyone's eyes shifted from Jeonghan towards the other 95er in the room, who was snickering after putting the puzzle together.

Finally Seungkwan was the first to speak up and ask the question they were all wondering, “What’s wrong?”

Jeonghan froze. What should he say?

I happen to be interested in your new dongsaeng Wooyoung’s member Amanda. So help me meet her.

If he told Seungkwan about his little crush, he knew Seungkwan would never let him live it down and neither will Woozi. Just looked at Joshua's smug grin right now and Jeonghan hadn’t even officially confessed to him.

Yet this might be his only chance to find out more about her and get a chance to meet her again.

After a few seconds of contemplating, he agreed upon subtly gaining information from him. He plastered on his most uninterested and chill expression, “Are you friends with any of his members?”

Seungkwan narrowed his eyes, “No. But I hear a lot about them from Wooyoung.”

Jeonghan’s shoulders slightly slumped as he mumbled, “So you haven’t met any of the other members.”

“No. Why are you so curious about-” A shocked gasp escaped the younger member’s lips once it hit him like a bag of rocks, “Oh my gosh! Hyung, are you interested in Amanda?”

“That does explain him looking at photos of her earlier.” Woozi chimed in.

“I wouldn’t say I'm interested. More like, curious.” Jeonghan shrugged it off casually, but Joshua shaking his head with a grin smacked onto his face behind him showed otherwise.

Seungkwan became speechless by seeing Jeonghan’s bashfulness for the first time in the decade that he’s known him. The hyung he knew had never really liked anyone. Well as far as he knew.

“When did you meet her?” Woozi asked.

“At MAMA.”

“Sort of.” Joshua corrected him.

“I would have if you didn’t interrupt.” Jeonghan retorted.

“You would have missed our performance if I didn’t.”

Jeonghan ignored him and redirected his attention back to Seungkwan, “Do you think you can get me a chance to meet her again?”A mischievous grin spread across the younger member’s lips, “You want my help? What do I get out of it?” Jeonghan snarled, causing Seungkwan to laugh, “I’m kidding. I to talk to Wooyoung about meeting her but I can’t promise anything.”

The eldest embraced the youngest in a hug, “Thank you, Seungkwan-ah! This is why you are my favorite dongsaeng.”

“You and I both know that’s not true.”

“True. But let’s just say it is.” Jeonghan teased. Seungkwan rolled his eyes and shoved his hyung off, making Jeonghan laugh.

“Seungkwan hyung?”

Seungkwan snapped his eye towards his dongsaeng, Wooyoung, staring at him with a raised eyebrow, “Sorry. What did you say?”

“You okay hyung? You seem distracted today.”

“Yeah. Sorry.” He mumbled. His mind had been miles away. He had been considering how he should ask Wooyoung about Amanda. He wanted to help Jeonghan with his little crush. Even if he won’t admit it’s a crush. But he worried about how Wooyoung would react. “How are your members?”

“Same old same old.” Wooyoung’s eyes glued on the game screen.

“Amanda too?”

Wooyoung nodded, “Yeah.”

There was a moment of silence before Seungkwan finally blurted out, “Is she seeing anyone?

“What?” Wooyoung’s eyes, now filled with dumbfoundedness, shifted over at his hyung, causing him to lose grip on the game controller and lose the game, “Why are you so curious?”

“If I said someone I know is interested in her, what would you say?”

“Who? You?”

“No. One of my members.” Seungkwan sheepishly answered, praying it would be enough. But at last, Wooyoung’s endless peering broke him down, “Jeonghan hyung.”

Wooyoung was even more astonished now, “Really?” Seungkwan nodded in response. There was a few minutes of silence as Wooyoung attempted to wrap his head around this confession. “Is he really serious about her? Because Amanda is too good for him.”

Seungkwan fondly smiled at his dongsaeng protective brother mode kicking into high gear for his younger member. He knew Amanda had gone through a lot the past year. Although Wooyoung never went into details as to what happened, he could tell Wooyoung was really concerned about her. She was finally in a good place right now and the last thing Wooyoung wanted to do was cause something that could ruin that. “I agree. Amanda seems like an amazing person.”

“The best.” Wooyoung corrected him.

“Yes, the best.” He agreed. “I can promise you, Jeonghan is usually very serious about who he likes. And to be honest it’s the first time I’ve seen him like this. It’s rare to see him interested in someone.”

Wooyoung let out a defeated sigh, “Even if I did say I was okay with it, it’s up to Amanda.”

“Of course. So can you ask her to meet with Jeonghan?”

“I could but I don’t think she will say yes.”

Confusion surfaced on Seungkwan’s face,“Why? Does she not like Jeonghan?”

Wooyoung couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of Amanda hating anyone from Seventeen. The dozens of albums stacked in her room were evidence that it was impossible. “No, it’s just that she’s shy around new people and if she knew that it was a blind date, she won’t say yes.”

“What if she didn’t know about it?” Seungkwan suggested.

Wooyoung raised his eyebrows, “You want me to lie to her?”

“More like withholding the full truth.” He revised but Wooyoung didn’t seem convinced, “Come on. The worst thing that can happen is that it doesn’t work out between them.” At least”

“You don’t know how scary she gets when she’s mad.” Wooyoung leaned in towards his hyung before whispering, “You might never see me again.”

Seungkwan caught a glimpse of the fear flash in the younger boy’s eyes, “That scary, huh?” Wooyoung nodded. Seungkwan contemplated on what the next best strategy was to convince him. “Well, if things go well then she won’t be mad right? She will probably be really grateful. And we both will be there to watch after them. At least we can say we tried.”

Wooyoung ruffled his hair with his hand, letting out a defeated sigh, “Okay.”

“Great!” Seungkwan beamed. “When would Amanda be free?”

“Whenever we don’t have any schedules usually. She likes to lazy around the dorm on those days.” An amused smile spread across Wooyoung, thinking if Amanda was here she would be punching him for embarrassing her in front of one of her favorite idols.

Seungkwan chuckled at his comment, “Jeonghan is the exact same way. Maybe it is meant to be.”

“Yoori, come on. You’re gonna get left behind at this point,” Wooyoung glared at the girl as he watched her scurry over to where the rest of them were standing. They had taken the day to go to an amusement park, and had been walking around for a few hours now.

“Can’t you guys slow down? I’m tired. Plus I want to go to the gift shop. Amusement park trips are not complete without headbands!” Yoori huffed, hands on her hips.

“We’ll stop later, Yoo. right now the lines aren’t too long for the rides we want, so we want to get to them first before they get packed,” Hongjoong said, hiking a thumb over his shoulder towards the pirate ship.

“I don’t like that ride,” Yoori shook her head, frowning.

“I’ll sit it out with you, Yoo,” San said, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

“But, Sannie, you said you’d go with me!” Wooyoung whined.

Yoori grimaced, then pushed San towards the younger. “I’m alright. I’ll sit it out alone. If you don’t go with him, he’ll throw a hissy fit,” she said, sticking her tongue out when he glared at her.

“I wasn’t gonna throw a hissy fit,” Wooyoung said.

“It kinda looked like a hissy fight,” Jongho said, folding his arms over his chest.

“Yah!” Wooyoung exclaimed.

“Alright, you two. That’s enough,” Hongjoong warned.

“Stop,” Seonghwa added as he saw both Yoori and Wooyoung open their mouths to say something.

“Whatever,” Wooyoung grumbled, then linked arms with San and began walking over to the ride.

“Yoo, want me to stay with you?” Yeosang asked as he walked over to her. Yoori saw him begin to reach out to grab her hand, but stopped when he remembered that they were out and people were watching.

Yoori smiled, “I’ll be okay.”

“You sure? ‘Cause, I definitely don’t need to go on this one,” Yeosang said, giving the ride a wary look.

Yoori giggled then took his hand. She gave it a pat then said, “We can be scaredy cats together then.”

Yeosang shook their hands in the air. “Yay,” he said unenthusiastically, while rolling his eyes.

Yoori narrowed her eyes, lips pressed together. “Meanie,” she said as she dropped their hands.

“You guys go ahead. We’ll stay here,” Yeosang said to the others who seemed to have been waiting for an okay from them to go without them.

“Have fun! Oh, Yeo and I will pick out headbands for you guys!” Yoori said, then excitedly adding the last part.

Mingi and Yunho smiled at each other then to Yoori. “That’s perfect!” Yunho said.

“Make sure you pick good ones,” Mingi gave a thumbs up.

Yoori grinned, returning the gesture. “You got it, dude!”

The couple watched as their members walked off to join the que for the pirate ship ride. Yoori smiled as she watched her leader excitedly hop from one foot to the other. Her little short king.

“What are you cheesing about?” Yeosang asked Yoori, poking her cheek.

Yoori grinned, “Our boys!” She then started skipping towards the gift shop, Yeosang chuckling behind her.

Upon entering the shop, Yoori squealed. She may be getting more than just headbands here. She bopped her head to the Twice song that was playing, as she browsed the selection on the shelfs.

“See anything good yet?” Yeosang asked, as he picked up a Toothless headband. He showed it to the girl, though he knew that she’d say yes to it.

“That’s perfect for Hwa-oppa!” Yoori smiled, “And I haven’t found any that have caught my attention.”

“How about we split up our members? I take Seonghwa,” Yeosang suggested, holding up the current headband he had, “Plus Yunho and Wooyoung.”

“And I take Hongjoong, San, Jongho, and Mingi?” Yoori asked, a pensive look on her face. “Sounds good,” she agreed, nodding. The two then split up looking for gifts for their members.

“Oh, and I’ll get you one and you get me one,” Yeosang said, peeking around the aisle.

Yoori smiled at him, nodding. “Make sure mine’s cute,” she winked. Yeosang chuckled, but nodded.

Yoori hummed along to the TXT song that came on as she picked up a devil headband. Sadly she wasn’t picking one for Wooyoung, because she would have given him this one.

“Perfect,” she whispered to herself as she saw one with a little pirate hat. “For our captain.” Taking that one, Yoori continued down the aisle. She spotted one with an angel halo and grabbed it without hesitating. “For our Jongho.” She hugged it towards her chest.

“Yoo, you’re gonna love the one I picked out for you!” Yeosang said a couple of rows down.

“Yeah?” the rapper giggled, going on her tippy toes to try and peek over the shelves.

Yeosang popped his head up just as she did and narrowed his eyes at her. “No peeking.” Yoori gasped then dropped down into a squat, giggling. She could hear Yeosang chuckling.

Looking up from her spot, Yoori grinned. Right next to each other were the last three headbands she needed. Bunny ears for Mingi and tiger ears for San, and right above those was a Rilakkuma headband for Yeosang. (Yoori was really tempted to keep that one for herself.)

Standing back up, Yoori held all her headbands and smiled. “Yeo, I’m done!” she said excitedly as she turned to walk back down the aisle that would lead her to Yeosang.

“Me too,” Yeosnag said as he came into view. He stood in front of Yoori, grinning as he held his finds against his chest, like Yoori was doing.

“Should we show each other now, or after we pay?” Yoori asked, covering hers up with her arms to keep them out of view.

“We’ll do it now that way we don’t have any repeats,” he answered then stepped off to the side so as to not block the way of anyone.

Yoori nodded in agreement then followed him. She smiled when she saw him smile at her. He got her feeling all giddy. “Me first!” she rushed.

“Okay.”

Yoori first pulled out Hongjoong’s. “This one’s pretty self explanatory.”

Yeosang nodded, rolling his eyes at the pirate hat.

Yoori then pulled out the halo.

“San?” Yeosang asked.

“Nope. Maknae,” Yoori gave a nod.

Yeosang quirked a brow, but laughed, “I don’t see it, but okay.”

“Our maknae’s an angel, okay?” Yoori pouted, but continued to show him the other two she found. “This one’s San’s,” she said, showing the tiger ears, “And this one’s Mingi’s.”

Yeosang snorted at the bunny ears.

“I’ll show you yours after,” Yoori said.

“Okay,” the older said, then pulled out Seonghwa’s first, “You already saw this one, but here’s Wooyoung’s.”

Yoori cackled when she saw the pink glitter devil horns. “Those ones are better than the devil horns I wanted to get him.”

Yeosang laughed at that then pulled out a pair of floppy yellow ears. “Puppy ears for our puppy.”

“Good. Good,” Yoori smiled.

“Now on the count of three we show each other the ones we pick for us,” Yeosang said.

“Yep,” Yoori nodded. Yeosang counted to three and then they each pulled out a pair of Rilakkuma headbands, only Yeosang held Korilakkuma.

“Dear God,” Yeosang rolled his eyes, grinning.

“Yes! I love it!” Yoori cheered. She grabbed the Korilakkuma one and placed it on her head then placed the Rilakkuma one on Yeosang’s head.

The two smiled at each other. “Would these count as couple items?” Yeosang whispered.

“I’m counting them as couple items,” Yoori smiled so wide that her cheeks were hurting.

“Good,” Yeosang smiled. He looked around and saw that the shop was currently empty and that the cashier was preoccupied with restocking some items towards the back. Walking up to Yoori, he smiled then placed a kiss on her forehead.

As Yoori flushed and sputtered, Yeosang smirked. “Ma’am we’re ready to pay,” he said to the cashier as he walked up to the counter, leaving a very red Yoori to toddle behind him.

Yoori’s boyfriend was a menace. But she loved him anyway.

Throughout the group's career it was not rare to find social media posts outraged at an alleged dating scandal between the maknae and another member, though most were simply an attempt to obtain her removal. Most have familiarized themselves with the intimate moment shared by the two artists during the dance break of WONDERLAND (Symphony No.9), yet none could have expected what transpired on that stage.

These nine members began their career filming a music video in the Sahara desert to then take the stage with that very name during one of the largest music festivals.

The smiles on their faces throughout the fifty minutes set were enough to convince attendees that all of them were born to be on stage, especially with the playful tone their performance adopted up until the end. Atiny have taken to social media in order to express their pride towards ATEEZ's success whilst the latter slowly solidify their position as one of the top male groups and continue to make waves through the industry.

March 2019

It´s been a week since Heeyoung had stayed at the leader’s childhood home and while the girl has had doubts in the beginning, she couldn´t say that going there was something she came to regret!

The rest of the boys, minus Seonghwa who had been happy for her, were a little pouty upon finding out that their Noona had chosen the captain over them but quickly came around when they saw the cloud of guilt hovering over the girl.

Hongjoong threatening them with his room might also have been part in it but Heeyoung didn´t need to know that!

Yunho however, was a little harder to sway and he stayed pouty for a few more days.

Wanting to know why she hadn´t told him that she had planned to stay alone. He would have taken her to Gwangju without question!

After the week was over and the members had gone back to the dorm, preparations for their upcoming mini album had started right away!

The members were back inside the recording booth, rehearsing choreography, getting fitted into their future stage out fits for Wave and filming various content for Atinys.

Sweaty and slightly out of breath, Heeyoung took a sip out of her water bottle before squatting on the ground, trying to get some air back into her lungs.

Next to her, Yeosang was trying to avoid Sans kisses. Almost falling over his Noona in the process of getting away!

Screeching Wooyoung came up behind the girl to wrap his arms around her!

“Aish Woo-ah, stop that! You´re sweaty!” she pleaded but made no move to shrug the boy off.

Wooyoung gasped dramatically.

“I. do. NOT! How dare you say that?”

The words had barely left his mouth when Heeyoung felt a drop of said sweat fall onto her exposed shoulder.

Grimacing at the younger, Heeyoung rolled her eyes, whipping away the offending fluid with the boy’s shirt.

The door to the practice room opened and inside came the manager, followed by someone who made Heeyoung freeze in Wooyoung arms!

The dancer tensed at the sudden stiffness of his small Noona and he looked over to the door he had ignored up until now.

“Heeyoung-ah, you have some visitors. Could you follow us to the conference room for a moment?” The manager asked gently, giving the girl a friendly smile.

At this point, the rest of the members had also noticed the newcomer.

Just like Heeyoung, the two other thirds of Matz grew tense alongside Yunho.

They were the only members who were able to recognize the visitors as for who they were, but they bowed polity none the less!

Not being able to utter a single word, the girl removed her younger friend from her back. Wooyoung easily complied but didn´t step away from her.

As it became clear that Heeyoung had absolutely no intention of moving towards them, the woman standing next to the manager raised a perfectly plugged eyebrow at her. The man next to her seemed just as unimpressed.

“Stop staring like that Heeyoung-ah, at makes you look incredibly stupid! We don´t have all day so stop dawdling around and get moving! And where are your manners?” Her voice was harsh as she snapped at the girl still in shock.

The switch from shock to no emotion was instantaneous!

Heeyoung felt numb as she dropped into a deep bow. Deeper than any of the members had ever seen her bow to anyone!

Her posture was suddenly immaculate! Back straight and head held high, she came up from her bow only to very clearly address the impatient looking woman.

“I apologize, eomeonim. I will be the joining you in just a moment to and-“

“Daughter I don´t have all day! Just get moving so we don’t have to stay in this….” Her mother looked around the room in disgust before continuing.

“…company, any longer!”

Heeyoung could almost feel the burning gaze of her members on her but she couldn´t look at them. Or more like she wasn´t allowed to look at them!

“Of course eomeonim!”

It was enough for her mother and father to turn on their heels and exit the room again.

As soon as they were out of ear shot, chaos erupted between the boys.

Seonghwa made his way to the shell of the girl he loved and cherished like a sister but Heeyoung sidestepped him with a sudden grace he wasn´t used to. None of them were!

It was like the girl had been exchanged with an entirely different person! In a sense it was true…

The Heeyoung the boys were seeing now was not a side any of them knew as none of them had witnessed it before.

Ignoring them, the female member hurried after the manager and the people she had to call her parents to the closest conference room.

Her mother had placed her designer hand bag on the table in front of her. Sitting down in one of the chairs her perfectly manicured fingers were clasped together and the subtle make up on her face made her look like an angel!

The fact that Heeyoung would rather give her horns and a devils tail was something she kept to herself!

Her father had sat down next to his wife, glaring at something behind his daughter.

Unbeknownst to her, Yunho and Hongjoong had come after her.

The two boys were hesitant about leaving the girl alone with her parents!

“Sit down daughter.”

It was an order and Heeyoung knew it.

Without a word, the boys stepped in too but refrained from sitting down at the conference table but still in close proximity so they could step in if needed.

This was promising to get ugly and all 3 of them knew it!

hongjoong

yuri was hongjoong’s first friend going into the idol world, apart from eden and maddox, of course. his first true friend. on yuris first day, hongjoong was the one that showed her where her studio was, and later that evening, he bought both of them ice creams from the 7/11 on their way home, even though that was quite literally the majority of his money. he really wanted a friend, and he could tell that she was really anxious coming into a new company, especially when there’s only two trainees. yuri really appreciated hongjoong, he was so kind and sweet to her and didn’t treat her like royalty. yes, she was happy people knew her name and her work, but every person she tried to be friends with only wanted to talk about her job and all the people she’s met. she could tell hongjoong was excited to meet her, but he still treated her like a person.

soon enough, hongjoong and yuri were best friends. they spent every night in the studio together. at first it was only to work on music, but as they got to know each other more, it turned into staying up late laughing until their stomachs hurt and snacks being littered on the floor. when they over worked themselves, they always brought each other food and drinks. they even dragged each other out of the chair to force them to get some rest. they still do to this day.

hongjoong was the first person yuri really opened up to out of the group. the two of them have a lot of deep talks in the studio late at night after everyone went home to bed, and they always always end up in getting ice cream from 7/11, right where their friendship started. now, since yuri and hongjoong knew each other for so long and had so many late night talks, they know a lot of stuff about each other, embarrassing stuff, and stuff that they wished they didn’t even know, and they are never ashamed to mention a crazy story whenever they feel like it.

deep spicy tea alert!! — as mentioned before yuri and hongjoong spent every single day, almost every hour with each other. spending that much time together, something is bound to happen. one night, hongjoong and yuri were hanging out in the studio as usual, having their late night tea session as they always did every friday. yuri had her head resting on hongjoong’s shoulder with her knees resting on his thighs, and hongjoongs arm was wrapped around yeongmi’s shoulders, playing with the ends of her hair every so often.

“i couldn’t believe that bambam turned yeseul down, like, it’s yeseul! how do you not want to dance with the yeseul. it just doesn’t add up. and from what jae told me, bambam kept looking around at the party, so he must have something going on with someone. if it’s that girl that stole his hockey tickets and used them to take her sneaky link to again i’m going to beat his ass, he can do better!” yuri complained, looking up to hongjoong when she was finished, and usually, hongjoong would agree with her and add on to it, but there was something else in his eye that she couldn’t ignore. his eyes were sparkling with adoration, and before she knew it, hongjoong was leaning down and giving her a kiss on the lips. she could feel his face tense up, but his lips lingered, and even though yuri was confused, she couldn’t deny that he was an excellent kisser.

his lips tasted strawberries, either from his lip balm or the candy he was eating earlier. it felt pleasant to kiss him, but it didn’t feel right. she didn’t feel a spark, she didn’t feel a passion. she could feel hongjoong’s eyebrows furrow, like he was confused why he even did that.

the adrenaline faded, and hongjoong immediately sprung back and threw himself to the other side of the couch. he didn’t know why he did that, he didn’t have feelings for yeongmi, he never even dreamt or day dreamed about kissing her, but for some reason he did. he couldn’t deny that yeongmi was a beautiful and charming girl, but, he didn’t see himself dating her. he was her best friend.

“i don’t know why i just did that…” hongjoong muttered, squeezing his eyes shut before looking over at yeongmi, sighing when he saw her smile, the kind of smile that tells you “everything is okay”.

“it’s okay, you just wanted to see what’d be like. i’ve been wondering what it would be like to kiss you for awhile now too, if i’m being honest.” yuri said, chuckling a bit when she saw hongjoongs terrified look. “i don’t have feelings for you. i’m just…testing out a theory. i’m not too sure if i like guys.”

hongjoong sighed out of relief, “good, because no offense, but to me youre just my friend. i guess youre right. it’s nice to explore every so often. i’m kinda curious too…” hongjoong said, whispering out the last part. he never talked about his sexuality to anyone, he never felt this comfortable to even think about it in the same room as someone. “how do you even know who you’re attracted to?”

“i don’t know. i just go with the flow.”

hongjoong smiled, and scooted back to where he was sitting before, and yuri cuddled right back into hongjoong’s side like nothing even happened. “now, tell me more about bambam and this other girl.” hongjoong said, holding back his laugh when yuri practically jumped out of her soul to tell the story.

seonghwa

seonghwa and yuri are the cutest duo you will ever meet. almost too cute. seonghwa never fails to make yuri be cute, even if she swears up and down she’s not cute, after 10 minutes of persuading, yuri is doing whatever he or atiny wanted her to do. he breaks down her “cool” persona and makes her into a bubbly happy girl.

they have 0 serious pictures together, they are always pulling silly faces or doing something behind the other to photo bomb the picture. the two of them will have a few weeks where they just be absolute menaces to each other, and then as soon as the other buys one food, they pretend like they didn’t just post videos of the other snoring on twitter for the whole world to see and act like the worlds greatest best friends.

seonghwa has mastered the act of waking yuri up after a long schedule or just in general, but only he can do it without getting yelled at (poor san and yeosang had to learn the hardway). first, he makes her coffee just the way she likes, two shots of espresso with three pumps vanilla, almond milk, and of course, ice. yuri loves iced coffee in the mornings and hot coffees at night. then, once he sets the coffee on her nightstand, he turns on her fairy lights, lights her candles, and sits at the foot of her bed, gently rubbing her legs. it takes awhile, but it’s better to have a happy yuri in the mornings than a grumpy yuri.

atiny’s always say that yuri is seonghwa’s spoiled daughter, and all the other members are the unwanted ones. seonghwa always offers to pay for her meals on camera, but when they are off camera, seonghwa and yuri bicker constantly. yuri is always poking and annoying seonghwa, while seonghwa is always mocking yuri and making fun of her drink choices. they are just like siblings, act perfect infront of the camera then are crazy at home.

deep spicy tea alert!! — now, yuri and seonghwa are always so sweet and nice to eachother, even when they are teasing each other. they rarely take the teasing too far. but one day, seonghwa was just really tired and stressed, and he did not have the energy to deal with the teasing yuri was giving him. she was harassing him about how the one night he talked in his dream, telling the air how he was going to finish the song later and then yelling at it to go away and leave him alone — and seonghwa was tired of hearing her tell the story over and over again, so, he snapped.

“if you tell that story one more time yuri i’m going to tell everyone how you tripped and fell out of your own bed.” seonghwa threatened, giving yuri a dirty look — which didn’t phase the girl at all. yuri only giggled and turned around, continuing to tell embarrassing stories about seonghwa to the members. yuri didn’t get the hint that seonghwa was truly annoyed until he stormed off and left the room, the door slamming behind him.

“i guess i really hit a nerve….” yuri whispered, sighing and going to follow him. when she found him, he was sleeping against the wall in the hallway, his mouth open and his head awkwardly resting on his neck. yuri smiled, and gently poked him, guiding him to her studio and setting him on her couch. seonghwa tried to protest, but yuri just hushed him and sat him back down.

“shh, take a nap. you need it. i’ll come wake you up when we actually start practice.” yuri whispered, smiling when seonghwa nodded and immediately closing his eyes, his body relaxing as he let himself fall asleep. seonghwa later did apologize about how he acted, and even bought yuri a coffee because he felt so bad. yuri forgave him immediately, because all of us have bad days.
