glad u got into disco elysium what are ur thoughts on the game...

im only about 8 hours in, just finished the first day, and WOW it is amazing. its so rare to find a game with worldbuilding that feels so whole, with characters that might as well be REAL. theres life in the brushstrokes of every piece of art in the game, which is to say the whole game itself. and the writing? MAN. i have to be frank its made me ashamed how ignorant i am when it comes to political ideologies, because this is a game that does NOT hold your hand when communicating with you. its so good that it has genuinely inspired me to want to meet the writing as an equal, because it would be such a disservice to let myself misunderstand it, or not understand it at all. what a life changing game. i havent stopped thinking about it since i started playing.

Hello fren I am plagued with blurry in Dema thoughts

I, too, am plagued by the Blurry in Dema thoughts. Blurry is like a stray cat that lives in the shadows of the city. Dwelling, lurking. He hates it there but he refuses to leave cause he genuinely views it as his home. Its much more scarier out in the wilderness of Trench than it is within the walls. He doesn't know what the canyons and forests that infest the world outside hold. Doesn't know what worse things can happen out there. The bishops always tell him, whatever horrible shit they do to him, isn't nearly as bad as the horrible shit he'd go through beyond the walls. That manipulation helps them keep the little gremlin leashed up. Blurry is a scaredy cat, and awfully gullible, so he believes the bishops when they say that, even if they don't give any evidence to back up their claim. Not that Blurry would ask for evidence anyways. He's already been beaten enough as it is for speaking without permission. And he doesn't want to be withheld another meal again this week. So he'll take the words fed to him as gospel, and keep to the shadows of the city. Watching, lurking, obeying.
