“Roaring Portraits”. Altro che “Guerrila Girls”, ci fanno un baffo, “Roaring Man” in “Roaring Portraits”. Uno si distrae un attimo ed entra subito in una performance e poi non ho resistito ... tutta colpa di Tiger Man. “Roaring Portraits” by Irene Pittatore, preview del progetto fotografico realizzato da Irene Pittatore in collaborazione con “Educativa Territoriale” del Comune di Novara e “Oltre Le Quinte” per Il progetto “Bella: volti e voci delle ragazze immigrate negli spazi dell’ex Caserma Passalacqua”. Origini e trasformazioni. Giovani donne interrogano il proprio futuro, le proprie lingue, il diritto di assomigliarsi, sollecitate da un esercizio artistico condotto da Irene Pittatore che mira allo sviluppo di una consapevolezza di sé, del proprio corpo, dei propri diritti e delle proprie libertà. Alessandro Bulgini è un artista italiano che da anni porta avanti un’operazione di arte relazionale basata sull’attento e delicato riuso di materiali, situazioni ed elementi pre- esistenti risemantizzati e riarticolati in opera d’arte dal grande valore simbolico, sociale e politico. Alessandro chiama ciò “Opera Viva” ed è stato il primo ad utilizzare questo termine per indicare un processo è un prodotto artistico.
