Chapter 6
I can’t believe that Héctor actually had the audacity to push me into the pool after I’d spent so much time getting ready in the morning.
I was seething, how dare he. I took a quick shower and dried myself off.
Today had been an enervating day and I could feel it starting to weigh me down.
I to the pool and felt my stomach grumble.
“Hey guys, is it just me who's starting to get hungry?”
“I could go for something to eat”, Áron replied.
“What are we in the mood for?”
“Pasta”, said Frenkie.
“I just had pasta yesterday”, said João.
“How about burgers”, said Áron.
“No, they always make me feel queasy”, pouted Frenkie.
“We could fire up the barbecue”, suggested Marc.
“Then it’s gonna take ages for our food to get ready”, lamented Gavi.
“Guys, quit fighting over over something so trivial, let’s just grab a pizza,” I suggested.
“That’s fine by me”, said Héctor.
“Why not”, said Marc.
“I can live with that” chimed Gavi.
“Great,” I exclaimed, “so, whose getting the pizzas?”
“Not me”, proclaimed Frenkie.
“I was the delivery boy last time,” said Áron.
“I’m the one throwing the party”, said Gavi.
“Why can’t we have them delivered,” I asked.
“Because the pizza place is right around the corner, it’d be ridiculous to pay for delivery at that point,” responded Gavi.
“Fair enough,” I relented.
“Now the question is, who's going to pick up the pizzas”, João said.
“Let’s spin for it,” said Héctor.
“What?” said Marc.
“We”ll just play two rounds of spin the bottle, whoever the bottle lands in within the first two rounds, will have to go and pick up the pizzas,” said Héctor.
“Sounds like a plan”, said Gavi.
“Let’s do it”, said Frenkie.
We all sat down in a circle.
“Whose gonna spin the bottle?”, asked Frenkie.
“I”ll do it”, said João.
The bottle landed on me, great, just my luck.
The next spin made the bottle land on Marc, I looked up at him and he looked back at me with a gleam in his eyes.
“Sucks to be you”, said Frenkie.
“Oh shut it”, I responded.
“I need to go and get changed”, I told Marc.
“Me too”, he said.
I went inside and quickly put on a dress, I walked to the gate, Marc was already there.
“Let’s go”, he said.
We walked together in silence until Marc broke it by saying “so are we gonna talk about what happened?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about”.
“Why did you agree to fuck me, only for you to scream out my best friend’s name, after you climaxed?”
“I”.
“You what?”
“I didn’t mean to”.
“That’s all you have to say?”
He looked at me, mixture of hurt and anger in his eyes.
“I never meant to hurt you”, I uttered.
“Well it’s too late now,” he hissed.
We walked up to the pizza place and waited for our order in silence.
After the pizzas were handed over to us in boxes, we continued to make our way back home.
“Let me make it up to you”.
“How do you think you’re gonna do that?”
“Tell me how to make it up to you.”
“Kiss me.”
“What?” I was baffled.
“Kiss me and tell me that you don’t feel anything for me” he pressed.
I looked at him aghast.
“If you don’t feel anything for me, after kissing me, I”ll let you go.”
“Kissing you isn’t gonna change anything.”
“It’s because you haven’t tried it yet”.
“Why are you so sure.”
“Because whenever you’re near me, I feel like there’s an unspoken tension hanging in the room and I know you feel it too.”
“You don’t know what I feel.”
“Please just once,” he pleaded.
I don’t know whether it was the tortured look in his eyes or the small flutter that I felt deep in my stomach, but I put the pizzas down and kissed him.
He cupped my face and kissed back hungrily, like he’d been starved for weeks.
I waited for him to pull back, but he didn’t, instead our kisses intensified and our bodies pressed closer to each other.
His hands slid down and started gripping my butt, while I glided my hand beneath his shirt.
“The pizzas are getting cold,” I muttered.
“Fuck the pizzas,” he growled.
We were so absorbed in each other we didn’t notice the rain coming down, until I felt a droplet of rain trickling down my cheek.
“Oh no” I clamored, I picked up the pizzas and started running.
“Where are you going?”, shouted Marc.
“To save the pizzas,” I yelled back.
I stopped when I saw a little roof and planted the pizzas on the ground.
“What was that”, asked Marc.
“What was what?”, I responded.
“Don’t act coy, Y/N, you seemed to be pretty into that kiss over there.”
“Don’t flatter yourself.”
I”ll say this again “tell me that that kiss just left you cold” and I”ll be out of your hair.
He lifted my chin with his finger, forcing me to look at him.
His other hand landed on my waist and pulled me closer to him.
“Tell me”.
I closed my eyes and put my hands around his neck, the pizzas dropping to the floor with a thud.
Now it was me who kissed him hungrily a warm feeling spreading through my chest.
Not caring that we were in public, I took his hand and placed it on my breast.
Marc eagerly reciprocated and started to massage my breasts through the dress.
I let go as goosebumps started forming on my skin, the temperature having dropped quite a bit, because of the rain.
I shivered, Marc wrapped his arms around me to keep me warm.
We stood there for what seemed like ages, until my phone rang, it was Gavi.
“Where are you guys? What’s taking you so long?”
“Sorry, we got held up”, I muttered.
“Get your asses back here,” we’re all starving.
“Alright, will do”.
“What are we gonna tell the others when they ask us why we got held up?,” Marc asked with a glint in his eyes.
“Oh shut up,” I said, while playfully slapping his chest.

Pool Party with the Barca Boys
Chapter 2
Héctor’s POV
As soon as Héctor heard that Gavi was throwing a pool party - to which his sister would be attending - he’d RSVP’d at the speed of lightning.
Ever since he’d first laid eyes on Y/N, he was infatuated with her.
He could still recall the day that he first saw her, when she was visiting Gavi during training.
He remembered her striking features and long black hair.
At that moment, he wanted nothing more than to leave the pitch, walk up to the stands and introduce himself to you.
He kept sneaking glances at you every now and then, hoping that none of his teammates would take notice.
After staring at you stealthily for the umpteenth time, your eyes finally met and Y/N gave you a mischievous grin.
He couldn’t believe it, not only had he found his future wife, but she’d shown interest in him!
He hoped that practice would be over as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, Y/N’s presence hadn’t gone unnoticed amongst the boys, who’d started murmuring about the girl, that was sitting in the stands.
“Woah check out that girl over there”, said Frenkie.
“There’s a girl?” asked Pedri.
“Yeah, she’s sitting in the bleachers” said João Cancelo.
“She’s hot”, remarked Áron.
“Who is she?”, I tried to ask casually.
That, is my sister you’re all lusting after, said Gavi.
“I didn’t know you had a sister”, said Frenkie.
“And a pretty one at that”, said Marc.
“Why haven’t you introduced us to her before?”, asked João.
“Because I knew, you lot wouldn’t be able to keep it in your pants”, said Gavi.
“Please just give me one, chance, Gavi, I’ll do anything”, pleaded Marc.
“Hey, who said that she’s yours?”, asked Áron.
“Yeah”, said Pedri.
“She’s not allowed near any one of you”, said Gavi.
“We”ll see about that”, said Frenkie with a chuckle.
The pool party provided Héctor with an opportunity to finally get to talk to Y/N.
But he was anxious, knowing that the other guys would be trying to make a move on Y/N as well.
When he’d handed Y/N the platter with snacks on them, his hand had briefly grazed her. He’d touched her ever so slightly and that was enough to make electricity flow through his body.
He was trying to muster up the courage to talk to her, but even being in her vicinity made him so nervous, that he couldn’t function properly.
How was he to over make a move, if he was scared of talking to Y/N?
The guys had started to play football, using the pool as a goal.
In the corner of his eye, he saw Y/N sitting on a beach bed, watching the chaos unfold.
It was obvious that the guys were showing off and trying to impress Y/N, by shooting the ball at full speed and by being rowdy.
If Y/N hadn’t been there, everyone’d have quietly and concentratedly tried to make a goal.
Every now and then one of the boys would look over at Y/N and steal a glance.
She was a sight to behold, wearing one of the skimpiest bikinis that he’d ever seen, but he wasn’t complaining about it.
The way the bikini barely covered up Y/N’s private bits, making her boobs look nice and plump and the bikini bottom showing her bare ass.
Héctor had liked to thank, whoever had designed the bikini. Even if he’d never get to be with Y/N, at least he’d seen her in this bikini.
Oh, he’d definitely be thinking about this, when he got back home.
Áron’s voice snapped him out of his pondering.
“Let’s make this more interesting, the first one to score will get 7 minutes in heaven with Y/N, if Y/N is up for it, that is”.
He hoped that Y/N would agree.
Dear Lord, please make her cave, he prayed.
To everyone’s surprise, Y/N agreed.
Why’d she agree to this, he thought to himself. What is she up to?
After an eternity, Marc was the one who’d scored a goal, howling in joy and looking smugly at the rest of the guys.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
This wasn’t how it was supposed to go, how could he let someone else get between him and Y/N?
And weren’t he and Marc supposed to be friends? So much for friendship.
Everyone had stopped playing football once Y/N and Marc had left for the bedroom.
Everyone’s spirits seemed to have dampened.
“Well that’s a bummer” said Pedri.
“Tell me about it” said João.
“He’s a lucky man” said Frenkie.
I gulped and felt a knot forming at the pit of my stomach. I wanted her so bad, my body was screaming out for her touch.
The next seven minutes were pure agony for Héctor.
He was plagued by a burning curiosity, wanting to know everything that was happening in that bedroom, while wanting to know as little as possible about the rendezvous simultaneously.
God, it was driving him crazy, weren’t the seven minutes over by now?
Did she like Marc? Or any of the other guys at the party? Did he even stand a chance?
After what seemed like forever, Marc stalked out of the room, looking glum.
A sliver of hope ignited in my belly, maybe I had a chance after all.
