Maoists kill 2 Armymen in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR:  A day after three jawans were killed in an encounter at the strife-torn Sukma, the outlawed CPI (Maoist) targeted the security personnel killing one in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion triggered by them in south Bastar and shot dead an army man in Kanker.

During the last week, as many as seven personnel were killed by the Maoists in the state. “On Sunday, a head constable of Chhattisgarh Armed Force, Sanjay Lakda was killed in an IED blast detonated by Maoists in Narayanpur district. The security forces have launched a search operation in the area after the incident,” said Sundarraj P, inspector general of police (Bastar range).

In another incident, a jawan of the Indian Army Motiram Anchla who had come on leave to his village Useli in the Kanker district was killed by the suspected team of Maoists in the market area. He died on the spot. Narayanpur and Kanker are among the seven Maoist-affected districts in the conflict zone of Bastar.

Greek shipowners have invested $15 billion in the last 5 years to build LNG Carriers.

The fleet of LNG and LPG transport ships of Greek shipowners will expand rapidly in the coming years, as they continue to invest in new tonnage, reaching, in fact, a record number during last year, with the data showing that the record for this year as well.

Geopolitical developments seem to have found the top Greek shipowners braced since last year, with the order book for LNG vessels running high at Korean and Chinese shipyards. Record orders for LNG carriers were recorded in the first half of 2022. The big increase in natural gas capacity could not come at a more opportune time for Europe, with the latest developments regarding the Nord Stream pipeline 1, as the Russian natural gas giant Gazprom stated that it cannot guarantee the good operation of the pipeline, which serves Europe.

According to the houses, Greek shipowners have invested 15 billion dollars in the last 5 years to build LNG Carriers. The 2021 world record appears to have already been broken by orders in the first six months of the year. The number of orders in the first half was 106. The previous record was from 2021 with 86 orders, an increase of 23.2%. The previous ones were 71 orders in 2004 and 70 in 2014.

Shipping companies with Greek interests control over 23% of the global LNG fleet, a total investment of over $30 billion, almost half of which has been invested in the last 5 years.

The high cost of shipbuilding during this period is an inhibiting factor. At the beginning of January, the construction of an LNG Carrier, with a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters, cost 211 million dollars, and in June it went up to 240 million, an increase of 13.7%.

Record year in 2021

According to a report by data house VesselsValue, in 2021 the Greeks ordered 18 LNG carriers, with a total value of 3.63 billion dollars, and 14 LPG carriers, with a value of 823 million dollars. Analysts said it was an "explosive" increase compared to orders for just 1 LNG carrier and 4 LPG carriers placed in 2020.

These figures put the Greeks at the top of the list of shipowners with the largest investments in the gas carrier sectors, globally, for 2021. South Koreans follow with orders worth 2.45 billion in LNG carriers and 1.32 billion .in LPG carriers and the Japanese with investments worth 2.24 billion in LNG transport ships and 1.1 billion in LPG transport ships.

VesselsValue values ​​the Greek LNG carrier fleet at $19.1 billion. Second comes the Japanese fleet, whose value is estimated at $18.1 billion, followed by the Chinese fleet with a value of $10.4 billion. In the LPG market, the Greek fleet ranks fourth by value. In particular, it is valued at 3.29 billion dollars. The most expensive fleets are the Chinese ($4.4 billion), the Singapore fleet ($5.9 billion) and the Japanese ($7.4 billion).

The last orders of 2022

The Capital group, and more specifically Capital Gas, owned by Vangelis Marinakis, has placed two more orders in its shipbuilding book. Based on the data so far, the capacity of each ship will be 174,000 cubic meters and the construction will be undertaken by the Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries shipyards. Shipbuilding costs will amount to $240 million for each ship. They are scheduled to be delivered in January and March 2026.

These two orders bring to 14 the number of newbuild LNG Carriers the company has ordered from Hyundai Heavy Industries and Hyundai Samho since 2018. Capital Group has invested a total of 3.3 billion over the past 4 years to build a fleet of 14 newbuilds ships carrying LNG.

Maran Gas Maritime recently placed an order with Daewoo Shipbuilding for two LNG carriers worth $233.7 million during the "Poseidon" exhibition. The group, led by Maria Angelikoussi, has one of the largest shipbuilding projects underway. The total cost with the new orders of the group amounts to 2.5 billion dollars. All ships are registered in the Greek registry.

John Egan was an enigma. A puzzle that was impossible to solve. A language she couldn’t translate. A concept she couldn’t grasp. It angered her. It sent her into emotional overload and overwhelmed her mind. She couldn’t make sense of him and it pained her. 

She found herself in her head, swimming through the sea of intrusive thoughts that invaded her mind. He wasn’t serious about her. He wasn’t capable of loving her. That was evident by the way his eyes followed the silhouette of a pretty blonde at the pub while she washed dishes and served drinks to the armymen. He didn’t know she noticed. Why would he? To him, she was nothing but a girl he’d gone on a few dates with. They weren’t committed; he owed her no loyalty. 

Her attempts at keeping her facial expressions at bay were a failure. When she rose her head, she caught the sympathetic eyes of the emphatic Gale Cleven. The smile on her face quivered as she turned her back and continued with her task. 

And his hesitancy, oh God, his hesitancy to decline a dance from a woman broke her even further. Sure, she should have been glad that he declined the brunette’s advances regardless, but the fact that he took the time to think. To ponder. To debate, made her sick to her stomach. 

She wept like a child that night. She accepted his peck on the cheek at the end of the evening, “You alright, doll?” His voice sent a chill down her spine. It stayed with her until she went home, then wept like a child. 

She was asked about him by her best friend. If only she could describe all that he was, and all that he wasn’t. He was a complex case that needed to be studied. Dissected and picked apart like an experiment. She nodded once and said, “He is a beautiful human, truly. Bold and wild like a fire. He walks in it with pride and warms everyone he comes in contact with.”

Her friend sensed the sadness laced in her words. With a small voice, she asked in return, “It sounds like you aren’t too happy about that. What’s that about?”

With a sad smile pulled at her lips. Amelia shrugged and dropped her hands into her lap defeatedly. Quietly she admitted, "I don't know if he can love me the way I love him. I think...my worst fear is that he'll light me on fire and leave me to burn in the flames...."

Caelus is a God (1 of 3) and he exhibits the power of control/senses. Basically, he can control any of the five senses a person has. (Ironic bc he’s partially blind and selectively mute)

He is from an (imaginary) country between Japan and Hawaii. His country has no verbal name as they only speak in hands and the name can’t really be translated into words (Aka I have not thought of a name lol)

Cælus he was born a human but granted godship by a higher up god because she wanted to see how he’d react with new given power it’s pretty awesome.. the way it works is that up until your death, you are human but once your human life is over you are revived as a god

Within the society, residents of the north had power over those from the south, and would only grant the southerners jobs like agriculturist, shepherd, merchant, and other low ranking jobs. The northerners, however, worked jobs like scholar, politician, monarch, armymen, etc.

Cælus was a shepherd living up north to tend to mountain sheep and so forth and he had a passion for fighting and desperately wanted to join the military, but since he was from the south this was something he could not do. When he was granted godship he had a huge ego boost and he started attending the schools up north and training with the military despite their retaliation against him…

Eventually Cælus bulked up and decided to form a resistance against the north and worked with other southerners who wanted equality. (Cælus did not really care about equality he just liked to fight)

In the fight for equality Cælus succumbs to his wounds and is revived on the battlefield as a god and they end up winning the battle yay!

When he was alive he was able to see but during his godhood he was blinded by the same lady who granted him godship.. he bribed Uriel (other god) into convincing her to give him his vision back and she complied (sort of) the only way he is able to see are with eyes on his Palms, or through the eyes of others.

In general, Caelus sees people as sheep, easily controllable if you do or say the right things and is generally apathetic
