Is it true that Aquarius feel more for causes than individual people?
It depends on the gender and how ‘airy’ the Aquarius is (if she’s air dominant), or who the Aquarius ends up with.
In order for me to fully answer this though, we need to get down into the psyche of an Aquarius male and female.
Aquarius women fully commit themselves to their partners and families, especially watery/earthy Aquarius. When single, these airy women will become involved in communities and friendships to better or help any way they can. They champion for people’s rights because they are unafraid of facing danger or opposition. In my experience, Aquarius women always face some opposition, whether it’s personal or collective, and will usually chose partners who they can mold into and together create a driving force to better humanity. The men tend to be more into friendships than their partners. They usually approach confrontation in a logical and ‘backend’ sort of way. Which puts them in situations where they often lead without planning too. (Can be said for the women as well). They find the best way to strategize and defeat their opponent/obstacle and find out of the box solutions to problems. Females can also do this but are much more cunning than the males. They give the illusion that they are fragile women (often viewed as underdogs) but they are actually merciless. Unafraid of confronting a situation or person head on, while devising a contingency plan. They value information just as much as the men do and are savagely relentless in bringing the enemy down. One thing all Aquarius share is the power of observation. This is very similar to how Scorpios operate but differ in that, Scorpios observe to uncover your dark secrets and bring them to light. They will use this information as a ‘just in case’ they need to use it against you, due to their paranoia. An Aquarius though will observe you to study your behavior and dissect your core personality, more so done for theories and curiosities. They also store information but usually keep it to themselves and not use it against you; only if they have too as a last ditch effort. As far as your question goes…
Aquarius are big picture kind of people. Where everyone is living in the present and some in the past (Scorpios for example), Aquarius live in the future. They have this natural ability to 'know’ things because they can see things coming from a mile away, thanks to their observation skills. Scorpios can also do this but theirs is fueled by intuition ('I feel’).
Aquarius’ ability to see things, fuels their need to better humanity. They try to resolve conflicts that no one else champions for. Most people are too busy thinking about themselves and only themselves and fail to think about others. This is why Aquarians were created. They bring awareness to issues that no one else would fight for. So, while it might seem that they 'neglect’ individual people, in reality all they are doing is trying to create a better world for their loved ones. They are very similar to Leos in this regard. But while Leos will become enthralled into making a better home life, both emotionally and financially (inward - home life), Aquarius take their shared responsibility and try and make things better for the outside world (outward - social life).
But only an evolved Aquarian knows the difference between home life and a social life. They understand that their partners also have needs that need to be fulfilled. They learn how to balance their social and personal relationships.
