man i wish cinemas would do more subtitled screenings instead of just like. once per month early on a weekday and only for their most popular films lmao.

#trying to find a subtitled screening of atsv in my city bc its pointless rewatching without them tbh #there are 4 cinemas showing it like 10 times a day and still only ONE cced screening in the whole city in the next fortnight 😑 #like come on man. #i still think that all film screenings should be subtitled by default. theres literally no solid argument against it #sorry if ur scared a 1 inch line of words might somehow ruin the artistic value of a film for u but accessibility should come first. #they can have 1 non-subtitled screening a week for ppl who are gonna kick their heels and cry abt it #the thing is if it was the default no one would have a problem with it bc theyd get used to things being subtitled!! #ive brought this up before w ppl and let me tell u its actually WILD how many ppl will argue that ccing things is Bad #the balls u have to openly take a stance against subtitled films in a conversation with a literal deaf person. do u even hear yourself #frustrating doesnt even begin to cover it tbh #anyway whatever. at least there IS a cced screening at all thats smth!! #and at least it saves me having to go with flatmates lol i think ill enjoy it more alone #.diaries #anyway i should get dressed and at least try to leave the house for 10 mins today. illness and all
