@kaseyskat and I have been scheming up this AU since April and the latest episode gave the both of us massive brainworms so we're finally posting about it!!

Welcome to the Perfectly Regular AU <3 It's Scary and Normal centric and takes place shortly after the Hell Arc, it diverges from canon when Scary rejoins the teen's side and Willy decides she's a lost cause, causing him to shift gears into a different plan. Scary notices that Normal's been acting really weird lately- and what's this about homunculi?

Oliver & Nyx?

Oooh, this is gonna be interesting! I don’t know a lot of stuff abt these two bc I write them as children most of the time, so uh, get ready for some stuff I’m making up right now on the spot. 

For those who don’t know, Oliver is Keith’s kid from my dad AU, and Nyx is Lance and Keith’s kid from a comic I did post-series. 

Oliver

Full Name: Oliver Samuel KoganeGender and Sexuality: He’s a boy and I don’t know because he’s five. Pronouns: He/himEthnicity/Species: Ethnicity, they don’t really know, bc he’s adopted. Human.Birthplace and Birthdate: His birthday is May 10! Don’t know where. But he actually has a birthday!! Guilty Pleasures: Watching cartoons really late at night. This probably only becomes a “guilty” pleasure when he’s older. Phobias: CLOWNS. What They Would Be Famous For: I dunno, he’s pretty good at soccer but idk if he does that in any kind of professional setting. What They Would Get Arrested For: He is a good good boy and probably wouldn’t get arrested. OC You Ship Them With: Nobody, as he’s usually five or six. OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Also nobody, bc of being a child and like... I don’t think I have any OCs who are awful enough to murder a child. Favorite Movie/Book Genre: ACTION but he likes a good rom-com. Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: When the hero is about to shoot the villain and the villain is like “you won’t do it” and they DON’T?? WHY? Talents and/or Powers: Good at soccer! Good at identifying bugs! Not that good at art but he likes it and he tries! Why Someone Might Love Them: He’s an adorable small child, very smart for his age, and is overall a pretty charismatic little kid. Why Someone Might Hate Them: They’ve just met him and have only experienced him doing something INCREDIBLY ANNOYING. How They Change: Honestly thus far he hasn’t aged that much. He goes through pretty much everything a normal kid does from ages 5 to 6, currently working on understanding the idea of his dad dating somebody. Why You Love Them: He’s just a really fun little guy to write! Honestly, when I thought “AU where keith has a young kid” I didn’t think his child would be as important a character to me as Oliver has become. I love him

Full Name: Nyx Kogane-McClainGender and Sexuality: Male, and he’s like two, so, I don’t know. Pronouns: He/himEthnicity/Species: GalraBirthplace and Birthdate: In space, I don’t know the date and actually neither do his parents, they celebrate his birthday on the day he was adopted. Guilty Pleasures: None! He doesn’t understand guilt yet I don’t think? When do kids figure that out. Phobias: DOES NOT LIKE Galra ships or anything that looks like them, bad memories, mostly. It takes them a while for him to be able to get on the BoM ships without freaking out, mostly he just has to get old enough that they can explain that these aren’t bad people. He likes Krolia and Kolivan just fine cuz he sees them without armor. What They Would Be Famous For: I don’t think he’s the very first Galra kid to be adopted by a human family, but he’s probably the first who’s the son of somebody so well-known. Or, having two of the paladins of voltron as his dads. What They Would Get Arrested For: This has me worrying that post-galra invasion of Earth, people start to really hate galra, even if they’re not part of the Empire. And that’d be sad, so, hopefully, nothing. OC You Ship Them With: Nobody lol he’s two. OC Most Likely To Murder Them: No OCs, but I can see sumbitch from the last of the Galra Empire trying to get to him to get to Lance and Keith. Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Right now, colorful animated movies. In the future, probably also colorful animated movies tbh. Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: aaaagh I honestly have no idea. Talents and/or Powers: Has the usual super strength and galra abilities, probably a huge badass because Allura taught him to fight (yes, it was Allura and not his dads, because his dads didn’t think a 4 year old needed to learn to fight and ALLURA DID BC IT IS AN ESSENTIAL SKILL LONCE.)Why Someone Might Love Them: Adorable, small alien baby, fuzzy, really really cute. Why Someone Might Hate Them: Either they hate babies or they hate Galra. How They Change: He definitely gets a lot less fearful of people, which is a long road for him. Why You Love Them: Listen if you don’t think Lance and Keith, badass paladins etc etc adopting a tiny alien baby is the CUTEST THING. Okay, I guess I just think it’s the cutest thing!
