Anti Cimex - Scandinavian Jawbreaker

Are there good songs on this record? Yeah of course! It’s a classic, but if you’re looking to go back to some great early crust or d beat music, you can honestly do better. Some of the lyrics on this album did NOT age well. Specifically thinking of Scandinavian Jawbreaker Pt 2 with the awful chorus of “young chicks! Big tits!” Just… doesn’t really feel like something that’s a cool or funny thing to say in a song anymore and frankly I don’t think it ever was.

Not to take away from the high points cause they’re definitely there, just I was a little honestly disappointed on the relisten.

My shitty patch pants (some call them crust pants but I seldom do, I’ll put it in the tags though). These were made from a baggy pair of cheap denim, I used a bunch of canvas and pleather. I painted the Fugazi and Kittie patches. I also did some really bad sashiko in some parts, I’m going to add more to reinforce them and make them more durable. I converted them into zip off shorts to make them more functional, so I can also wear them in the summer!
