I am 100% likely to do it anyway, regardless of the question at the end of this, but: with Dydd Gwyl Dewi (Sant / St David's Day) approaching quite quickly (March 1st), I wanna do a little focus on Welsh (and Welsh-descendant) characters of mine and how they engage with our ('our' because I am, yk, a Cymro) language, culture, and so forth. Would y'all actually be interested in seeing that sort of thing or?

Bleddyn was the very loud new OC in my head and now I've posted his character sheet, I've formally introduced him (and he can shut the fuck up, finally). Like I said in the tags on his character post, his name means 'wolf hero' or 'wolf-like', which is, er, ironic given he gets a mysterious case of lycanthropy :3c

His name is pronounced 'bleh-thin' or 'bleh-vin' His nickname, Blaidd ('wolf'), is pronounced like 'blythe'. His sister's name, Hadyn ('seed'), is pronounced 'had-in', not 'hay-din'. His daughter's name, Begw (diminunitive of Megan), is pronounced 'beh-goo'.

Alright? I'm gonna be writing up an Azz & Paul one-shot in a bit, which'll be very fun indeed cuz I have 0 idea where it's gonna go because they're both such ridiculously stronkTM chars (in terms of my dg werewolves). Hopefully, it'll go well (you can ask me stuff in the meantime if you'd like). Other Announcements:

Tide Down's final two main chars will have their sheets made at some point, likely Alun and then Roger. Since sheets take time and Tide Down is something I wanna try and reduce to just a script wip as much as possible, they'll get the least amount of attention from dad.

Paul (Damaged Goods) does need a sheet up now he's being mentioned - again, sheets take a lot of time/energy for me to make so when you see it, you'll see it.

I have a new OC who's very loud in my head rn - he will be revealed s00n, once I've figured out his story better.

Sarff & Co of the Dergverse are being shelved because fantasy isn't my strong suit and as much as I love them, I just can't do them justice so they're going to the OC Retirement Village indefinitely.

Noso Verse is also shelved because I can't bring myself to edit the novelisation (given I was grieving when I worked on that) and the screenplay just isn't working for me the way I'd like it to - I will come back to them at some point, so they're not going to join the Dergverse cast in the Retirement Village, they're just on hiatus.

Odd Foxes and DG will remain my most updated worlds/chars - Character/Story Updates will be announced every so often.

I will be updating the main page, interaction rules (etc.), and my pinned post on here soon(ish) -- the blog name + user will remain the same, I just wanna have a fresh lick of paint (although I'm not sure when I'll actually do the update since a lot of themes are annoying to try and make work).

I think that's everything. Again, feel free to send me asks.

Right then, lads (gender neutral) -- tonight's plan includes actually doing a Frames one-shot because I have a happy-fluffy thing in mind (thanks Lost Freqencies + Dan Smith (Bastille)), an Azz thing (one-shot, but idk what kind), and then starting at least One character sheet before I go to bed.

Today's OC agenda includes a (newer) James and Frank mood board thing, a frames one-shot, and maybe an Art + Reg thing (i'm unsure). They'll come up really slow (because mood boards take a long time to make, especially on my bitchy ass copy of photoshop), but I'll have at least 2/3 done before I bugger off to bed at 3am.

I've made a bunch of lore changes to Odd Foxes but the sentiment and overall stories of past 2023!James-related one-shots still count as canon but also I'd wanted 2023!Art to have a kid and then felt bad cuz the kid would be lonelyTM so I gave James and Frank an adopted daughter... So, you know, if you go back into the 2023!James one-shots, pretend Suzy's in another room or staying at a friend's or smth, tyty.
