As an American person of Filipino descent young adult person based in the greater Chicago, IL area in the US, who's into the world of entertainment and popular culture, making it as a the largest American-based arts, entertainment, and popular culture brand, who's into animation (cartoons), anime, video games (mostly with Nintendo (as I'm currently playing games on the Nintendo Switch) and Minecraft (Java and Bedrock Editions), live-action, movies, and other types of media like advertising and company mascots. As the animation cast is based in the Los Angeles, CA area (the city I went to back in 2005, when I went from there to Mexico with a cruise from Royal Caribbean, and I was only 6 years old at that time), and the live-action cast in Albuquerque, NM.
Aside from The Casagrandes Movie that will be released next month on March 22nd on Netflix, and new Loud House and Casagrandes graphic novels that are coming soon this year, I'm soon going to get a Luna Loud lithograph to be signed by Nika Futterman at Planet Comicon next month from March 8-10, as I ordered from GalaxyCon, and planning to get a Lori Loud lithograph to be signed by Catherine Taber from Celebworx, and The Really Loud House Season 1 DVD.
Once I get the Luna and Lori Loud, that will be signed by Nika Futterman and Catherine Taber soon this year, I might be one of the Loud House fans that will have all the pieces of media from all of the cartoon-based voice actresses of the Loud sisters. Liliana Mumy will be the lone person, as I only have a Cameo from her. I have yet to get a Leni Loud lithograph to be signed by her. I have both Cameo videos and lithographs from Grey DeLisle, Jessica DiCicco, and soon from Nika Futterman, while I have lithographs signed by Cristina Pucelli, Lara Jill Miller, and soon from Catherine Taber.
This is my special thanks to: Cartoon Based: @catherinetaber, Liliana Mumy, Nika Futterman, Cristina Pucelli, @jessicadicicco, @greydelislegriffin, Lara Jill Miller
Live-Action: Lexi DiBenedetto, Sophia Woodward, Catherine Bradley, Aubin Bradley, Annaka Fourneret, Ella Allan, Mia Allan, Lexi Janicek, August Michael Peterson, and Emily Ford
Honest: Eva Carlton, Wolfgang Schaeffer, and Brian Stepanek
The Loud House is one of my favorite cartoons of the 2010s-2020s era cartoons, even for my favorite voice actresses and longtime voice actresses, Grey DeLisle, Jessica DiCicco, Lara Jill Miller, and Nika Futterman, these ladies have been doing animation voiceover work back when I was a kid in the 2000s watching cartoons airing on Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Nick Jr. (TV channel), Noggin, and PBS Kids). 1990s (I was born in 1999) for Grey DeLisle, Lara Jill Miller, and Nika Futterman.

Growing up with a therapist for a mother, you were taught to genuinely express your emotions daily, so naturally it came in handy for your personal use in the future. You spoke strongly against moving from Chicago to restart your life elsewhere in a small town called Royal Woods. But, your parents were so adamant about moving that even your poor attempts were deemed useless.
You weren’t alone in this dispute, your siblings agreed with you, not wanting to leave their life behind. Sadly, your house was already resold so there was no turning back.
In Chicago, you were highly known, well mostly based on your family’s background, but nonetheless, you had a few real friends there. A week before officially leaving your childhood home behind, your friends hosted a goodbye party in honor of you. You appreciated the party planned by your friends and enjoyed the celebration to the fullest.
However, when it was time to leave, you couldn’t find yourself to do so. Maybe it was all of your lingering memories which danced around your mind that trapped you in there. You remained in your bedroom longer than intended, soaking in the lack of joy that your bedroom once vibrantly held.
Your room was completely empty, and all of your belongings were stored away in their respective boxes, probably already shipped to the cargo.
“[Name], stop daydreaming, and come on, we have to leave in 10 minutes!” Your older sister Cass shouted.
Inhaling sharply, you begrudgingly pulled yourself off the bed and left the room, not once looking back.
Tumblr media
The plane ride was 3 hours long turning it out to be a complete drag. You slept throughout the whole plane ride and were rudely awakened by your sister, Maddy when you landed.
Despite being jet-lagged, you still made your way to the car and snuggled yourself in a seat. The car ride was smooth for the time being, everyone found themselves occupied with little mundane activities.
Of course, your mom was the first to cut through the silence, often being optimistic. “Come on, girls! It’s great to start anew.”
Your mom tried to make the moving a good thing but was desperately failing at so. Perhaps she should stop trying so hard and accept the negativity for a change.
“Oh yeah, mom. I don’t think us starting anew is doing any of us any good.” Madison intercepts rolling her eyes. “Just take a look at Queen Righteous over there.” She irks her head towards your other sister who was blatantly checking herself out in her hand-size mirror.
“That reminds me, how long are we staying in this town?” Cassandra emphasizes as she starts to file her well-manicured nails.
There was a beat of silence followed along which made her look at mom with a piercing glint in her dark brown eyes. Who was gonna tell her?
“Oh didn’t you hear, dear sister? We’re here for a couple of years so possibly by the time I graduate high school.” Your tone was laced with pettiness, taking in the glory of watching Cassandra’s face fall.
She blinks in astonishment. “She’s kidding, please tell me that [name]’s kidding, mom!!”
“It’s not that bad, you’re overreacting.” Your mom reassures her eldest daughter. “Think of it as a vacation.”
“Yeah, a long-term vacation…” Your dad chirps in the conversation.
You lightly scoff at your parents’ logical explanation, clearly not swooned by it, and put back on your headphones, purposefully ignoring them.
“Overreacting is not the word that I would use.” Madison murmurs with a small smirk. Cassandra closes her eyes, leaning her head against the headrest, clearly irritated at the turn of events.
With a defeated sigh, your mom turned around, giving up on trying to lighten her daughters’ mood.
“You should’ve kept quiet.” Your dad chastises.
Amari scoffs. “Oh shut up, Ben.”
Being tuned out of the world by your songs, you stared out of the car window, observing the town sights. You were impressed so this town better bring the best.
By the time, you reached your new house, it was already nightfall so being introduced to your neighbors was out of bounds anymore. Getting settled into your new home was a hassle, but surprisingly your family managed to make it work.
For dinner, your dad had ordered two pizzas which everyone devoured within seconds. Guess the car ride wasn’t provided with a sufficient amount of snacks to fulfill the hunger.
The remaining of the night consisted of everyone rummaging through their name-based boxes and unpacking basic necessities. For you and Madison, it was partially school related as well. After a rough hour and a half, your parents called it a night and sent everyone off to bed.
Tumblr media
The following morning flew by in a breeze. After completing your morning routine, getting dressed, and eating breakfast, it was already 7:45.
To be honest, the journey to school wasn’t as boring as you expected. Once you reached on school grounds, you were introduced by the principal to another high schooler who would be showing you around the school.
Approximately 5’3 and having sensible fashion taste, you were met with your tour guide. She was showing off a beautiful shade of fair caramel with medium-length straight black hair to complement her slender body. She wore a colorful polka dot short-sleeved shirt with denim jeans and black converse shoes.
“Hi, I’m Gabriella and I’m your school tour guide.” She warmly greets you with a wave of her hand alongside a vibrant smile.
“Hey, I’m [name].” You introduce yourself with a small smile before pointing to your sister, “And this is my sister, Madison.”
Your sister gives a small nod of her head in acknowledgment at Gabriella. The perky girl ushers both of you into the school gates. Gabriella gives you and Madison a tour of the school, sometimes adding necessary details about specific teachers that will get you in their good books.
She was kind enough to briefly answer your inquiries regarding the school.
Throughout the tour, Gabriella made certain attempts into becoming your first friend in the school, and you accepted it with a smile. You decided to exchange each other’s numbers on your phones to keep the great bond over messages as well. You had thought that it would take you multiple weeks to gain a friend, but you had underestimated yourself.
Lunch rolled around just in time for the school tour to finish and Maddy had ditched you a long time for new friends.
“Okay, I’ll go get our lunch and you go find us a bench,” Gabriella suggests with a wide grin. The ravenette disappears and left you on your own before you had a chance to speak.
You sigh heavily as you surveyed the surroundings of the lunch areas, clutching onto the handful of books. It was a huge campus, there were many spacious areas to hang out by. Being too invested in finding a certain spot, you failed to notice that you were near batting grounds.
All of a sudden a ball comes flying at you, leaving no time to react and move out of the way. Surprisingly, the ball was directed at your wrist instead of your face.
You’d figure that in a sense that was a better approach. Rather get hit in the wrist than the face. Great thinking!
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me!!” You exclaimed, flinching at the impact. Tending to your injured wrist as the ball and your books hit the ground with a thud.
The echos of running feet weren’t fully comprehensive until you looked up and noticed a brunette girl. She was pretty if you were to say so. The girl wore a red baseball cap with her hair styled up in a ponytail and matching colors in her baseball outfit.
“Woah, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean for that to happen.” The brunette girl apologizes before her eyebrows furrow in confusion. She removes her baseball cap revealing her face before mildly pointing to you, “I’ve never seen you around school before, are you one of the new girls?”
“No, it’s fine….and yes I’m the new girl,” you replied.
She greets you with a rough nod of her head. “Ok cool, my name is Lynn. Lynn Loud, what’s yours?” Her voice was raspy but oddly welcoming.
“[Name]…Bailey.”
“Come on, I’ll take you to the nurse’s office.” she offers, picking up your fallen books.
You dismiss the brunette girl with a shake of your head and hastily retrieved your books back from out of her hands, unwilling to rely on codependency. Although your response was unintentionally rude, Lynn brushed it off and kept the conversation going.
“It’s the least I can do.” She attempted, wanting to provoke a verbal reply from you. This time, she looked right into your eyes wanting to observe more closer and intimately.
“Y’know for someone who’s injured, you sure don’t like accepting help whenever you receive it.”
Resisting the urge to end this conversation with a snarky comment, you found yourself eventually staring right back into her eyes, and for some reason, you felt flushed under her gaze. You awkwardly shifted on your feet as you attempted to maintain eye contact, seemingly ignoring the fluttering heat in your stomach. Her gaze was so intimidating yet mysterious, and you were curious to discover the meaning behind it. It was unusual for you to get easily flustered, especially to a girl who you just met mere minutes ago.
Luckily, Lynn was the first to break eye contact but her eyes wandered carefully analyzing your facial features. Taking you by surprise, she gently held on to your broken wrist, her attention diverted.
The brunette girl sits you down towards the nearest bench accompanied by a cool shade.
“How bad does it hurt?” her fingers trail around your right wrist, thoroughly searching for the stimuli. “Do you feel any swelling or bruising?” Knowing that Lynn was persistent on getting you some kind of medical attention…you kinda admired her for that trait.
“Didn’t take you for a doctor, baseball girl.”
She chuckles, “Neither did I.” staring back at you, a smile still adorning her face, “But if a cute girl coincidentally gets accidentally injured, I’m obliged to check on her and see if she’s alright.”
Unknowingly, a grin was plastered on your face to which Lynn reciprocated back. She had an endearing charm to her smile and her dimples were just an—
“Ow!” you exclaimed in pain, which brought you out of your train of thought. Despite not pulling away from instinct, you allowed Lynn to cradle your area of discomfort without making such a huge fuss.
“I think that I found it!” She cheered, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm while still being cautious about your well-being. Oh, you would have found her excitement so sweet but the current throbbing pain disagreed, desperately needing to seek professional help.
“Fine…but maintain a distance, don’t want anymore more unnecessary injuries.” She finally lets go of your wrist and puts your books in your bag before zipping it close.
Her confused expression made a smile slightly from upon your lips but your pointed playful gaze gave you away. It was adorable watching how it finally clicked in her mind and she sends you a sincere smile, her dimples poking through her cheeks.
“I’ll try my best.” She jokes, nudging you with her shoulder, content with your playful banter. Lynn slings your bag over her shoulder and helps you off the bench as you both head toward the nurse’s office.
Perhaps it could be the start of a second amazing friendship today.

It was finally Halloween season, and you were ecstatic about the holiday. If you were being honest, Halloween was your favorite holiday, and Christmas ranged in a close second. Back in your old town, you and your sisters were partially known for hosting epic Halloween parties and you wanted to continue it in Royal Woods. You would call it a tradition, sharing an event with your sisters and enjoying them to the fullest. So you convinced your parents into allowing you to have the party and they agreed.
The week before Halloween, you and your sisters went decor shopping for party supplies. You were in charge of putting the food and drinks together. When you went grocery shopping, you stashed a trolley full of various snacks that was mainly popular with your peers. You pre-ordered dozens of cookies and cupcakes, 5 different kinds of cakes, all topped off with Halloween themes. The sodas were doubled, guessing how many people would be there.
It was a family effort to decorate the house and make everything appealing to the eye. Although it was an intense hassle to remain extravagant when it came to decorating the house yet you just love the priceless looks from the guests when they walk in.
You had texted Lynn three days in advance before the party.

That was three days ago and today was the party. It was nearing nightfall and your parents knew to get lost, spending their night at a hotel.
That was three days ago and today was the party. It was nearing nightfall and your parents knew to get lost, spending their night at a hotel.
Your fairy costume was plain and simple, you didn’t tend to go all out when costume hunting. As long as you looked decent, you weren’t worried about other people’s opinions. Madison was dressed as a witch and Cassandra as Dionne Davenport from Clueless. In the middle of getting dressed, Cassandra offered to do your makeup. She had her makeup supplies stored in an organized box on her vanity mirror.
“Oh, I missed this…” She deeply exhaled, starting with your eyeliner, “Just us two, [Name] and Cass, me doing your makeup and giving you dating advice.”
“We’re always gonna be like this,” Your eyes flutter back as the eyeliner pencil draws underneath your eye.
She stops midway, dropping her working hand and she arches an eyebrow at you, “Really? Even when we’re both gross and old.”
“Yes!! Even if when we’re both gross and old.” You chuckle as she resumes doing your other eyeliner.
She placed the eyeliner pencil down and picks up the mascara, opening the tube and starting it on your face. “No, but when you start dating, you’ll have no more time for your big sis.”
There was a beat of silence followed by hesitation in your voice. You decided to speak anyway, not allowing your first heartbreak to keep you silent. “You know that this isn’t my first time dating, right, Cass?”
She immediately shushes you with a well-polished finger pressed upon your lips. “Nope, nope, we’re not doing that. You’ll remind yourself about that she-devil and you’re grumpy for the rest of the night and if we’re being honest I don’t like a moody [name].”
“I’m just putting things in perspective, Lynn won’t be my first love.” You shrug before backtracking on your former statement, “That if she feels the same way that I do, and we start dating.”
“Promise me that you’re gonna take your mind off that girl.” Cassandra pleads, “Trust me, you’re better off without her. She hurt you too many times and that’s unforgivable.”
“Okay, fine.” You sigh, “I promise to not bring down my mood for the entire night,”
“Great, no more depressing heartbreak shit to remember, that’s all in the past.” Your eldest sister stares at you with a serious expression, clearly not buying your faux response and she moves to grab a lipstick tube from her dresser. “You are gonna blow Lynn’s mind when she sees you,” Cassandra mumbles, smearing the black lipstick across your lips.
“I’m not sure about blowing her mind.” You mutter, smacking your lips together when she finishes doing your lips.
“[Name], you look jaw-dropping in this outfit, Lynn would be a fool not to see that. Besides, if she doesn’t, you always have other options.”
Madison walks into the room, dressed in her full costume. “Stop trying to turn our beloved baby sister into you.”
“Oh, please, being me took years to perfect, I doubt [Name] can do it in one day.” She closes the lipstick tube, placing it back on her vanity stand.
“What’s that in your hand, Maddy?” You observed the piece of jewelry in her hand.
“It’s a choker and you’re gonna wear it.” She said, briefly showing you the jewelry before clasping it around your neck.
You looked in the mirror, admiring your new accessory to your costume with a warm smile. The black gothic choker adorned your outfit even more, giving it the final touch that you didn’t even know that you needed.
“Lynn will be absolutely speechless once she sees you,”Madison comments with a teasing grin. You blush upon hearing your crush’s name and that gave your sisters the opportunity to begin their teasing.
“Ohhh…she’s blushing!” Cassandra notices the flush on your cheeks.
“[Name] and Lynn sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!” Madison starts her new method of taunting.
“Oh shut up!” You yell, covering your face but they continued their rambles.
Cassandra joined in the singing, “First comes love, then comes marriage then comes a baby sitting in a carriage.”
Tumblr media
The party set off to a good start, with numerous people by the front door, waiting to enter. When the crowd entered, the party was in full swing, and the decorations were amazing. Numerous tables were prepping up the foods, snacks, and drinks all covered with frilly Halloween decor.
Gabriella’s costume was one of many Harley Quinn famous outfits, the black and red one. Lynn is dressed as a cheerleader with the colors of black, red, and white, the fake blood splattering across her legs and face. Her friend, Margo was dressed as a biker girl with the colors black and white.
“You’re a cute cheerleader,” You flirt, “But where’s your two poms-poms, it’s required for a cheerleader to have them.” Lynn shows you two matching pom-poms, tickling them in your face, hearing you giggle made her blush.
“And you’re a very hot fairy.” She winks, playing with the synthetic wings attached to your back. “Might have to be by your side for the whole night because I’m not the only one who thinks so.”
Gabriella pulls you away from Lynn, dragging you into the foyer of the kitchen.
“I want you to meet someone.” She says before stopping in front of a boy.
“Hey, I’m Marcus.” He was of average height and had a slim figure with decent looks and hairstyle.
“Hi, I’m [Name]!”
“I’ll let you two get to know each other,” Natalie disappears, leaving you and Marcus to converse.
“Woah, isn’t that your girl snatched up with some dude?” Margo taunts, pointing in your direction. Lynn turns her head so fast, that she could’ve gotten whiplash from it. From a few feet away, she noticed you and a raven-haired boy talking. Her heart fumes with jealousy and possessiveness, observing your interaction with the boy.
“[Name] isn’t my girl, Margo.” The brunette corrects her best friend, finally breaking her gaze away from you.
“Well, if you don’t make her your girl soon, then she’ll be somebody’s else girl.” Margo counters, taking a sip from her drink.
That was the ticking words to set Lynn’s jealousy off and she stormed over in your direction, shoving people who managed to get in her way.
Margo screams over the music, watching her best friend head towards you, “Hell yeah, Lynn. Go get your girl!”
When Lynn finally reaches you, she hastily inserts herself into your conversation.
“Oh, hey Lynn.” You greet her for the second time today. She releases a scoff and nothing else as she glared down at the boy.
“Can I talk to you for a second?” Her question was aimed at you yet her gaze never falters from the raven-haired boy.
“Well, can it wait!” Marcus sharply responded instead of you, “If you didn’t know, we were having a conversation before you interrupted us.”
Lynn got up in his face, her tallness intimidating her demeanor, “Ok…listen here, buddy boy—“
You grab Lynn by her arm, tugging her away from Marcus as he backs away as well. You harshly glared down at the both of them and shouted, “Let’s play seven minutes in heaven, everyone!” There were yells of agreement as Marcus scoffs, looking Lynn up and down, and walks away.
“What’s your issue, Lynn?”
“What’s my issue?” She looks at you shocked, “What’s your issue?
“It’s a party, Lynn, it’s supposed to be fun, why can’t you have fun?”
“I’m having fun.”
“Almost starting a fight is not fun.” You cross your arms defensively.
“Depends on which perspective you’re seeing from.” She continues.
“Wanna tell me the real reason that you were hostile with Marcus.”
“Fine,” she groans, dropping her head back before looking back at you. “I didn’t like how Marcus was looking at you. I would rather you hang out with someone you knew, like me and my friends.”
“I thought you didn’t want me hanging around your friends.”
“What gave you that impression? Of course, I want you to hang out with my friends, I just didn’t want you to feel obligated to.”
“Aww…I love sweet Lynn.” You coo, bringing her in for a cheek kiss. “Come on, let’s go. With your luck, we just might end up in the closet together.”
She blushes at the possibility of you and her in the closet.
Everyone started to file into the huge living room, you and Lynn being one the last to enter. You sat on a beanbag with Lynn squished beside you as everyone else gathered around in a huge circle. To give it a rocking twist to it, you combined another party game favorite: Spin the Bottle. The rules were simple, you spin the bottle and whoever it lands on, you spend 7 minutes in the closet with them.
“Ok, I’ll go first then.” Gabriella offers, spinning the bottle with a nifty grip. The bottle finally halts, landing on Margo as the crowd cheers.
“Well shit, let’s do it then.” Margo nonchalantly smiles as she gets up, letting Gabriella drag her into the closet as the door shut behind them. There were multiple cheers, mainly coming from the baseball team and Lynn.
You started the timer on your phone, everyone anxiously awaiting the two girls. When the timer was finished, the two teen girls walked out. Their hair was disheveled and faded marks of Gabriella’s lipstick across Margo’s neck.
“Since when were they together?” you whispered over at Lynn who looked just as shocked as you. Finally looking at you, she shrugs and they leave the living room, heading outside for privacy.
“Totally beats me.”
“Okay, who’s next?!” Luna shouts.
“I’ll go,” You suggest, grabbing the bottle and steadily spinning it. The bottle chooses its other person and horrifically lands on Marcus.
“Let’s get this over with.” You mutter, rising from your beanbag chair and heading to the closet with Marcus. You failed to notice Lynn’s clenched hands.
During your time spent in the closet with the boy, he tried to make conversation but you only responded with short answers. The raven-haired boy decided to flirt with you instead, moving closer to you as you backed away. Eventually, you ran out of space to maintain distance and you felt trapped. Out of instinct, you slapped him across his face, pushed him away from you, and stormed out of the closet.
Everyone else waits for Marcus to reveal himself and when he does, a handprint was embedded on his right cheek. Lynn smiles at his new bruise, aware that you rejected his advances.
Quite frankly, you were getting tired of this game and randomly felt like taking a swim in your pool with Lynn. However, you spun the bottle, eagerly watching it slowly down to settle on Angelina. Your small smile instantly dropped at this revelation. This can’t be happening to you. There was no fucking way that you were going to be trapped in a small closet with your ex-girlfriend for an entire seven minutes.
Angelina Ross is played by Siena Agudong and she’s wearing a pirate costume.
“Nope, I wanna redo.” You grabbed the bottle, ready to spin it but her voice stops you.
“Rules are rules, [name].”
“In my house, they apply for you, not for me.”
“Never took you for a quitter.”
“Oh, I’m anything but a quitter.”
“Sure doesn’t look that way to me now.”
“Listen he—“
“Then why won’t you accept that you landed on me and go in the closet with me? I just want to talk, [name].”
“Okay, you can talk, everyone’s listening.”
Everyone’s eyes were on the brunette girl, eager to hear your business, no doubt, probably turning it into gossip when school opens.
“Do you really wanna do this in front of all these people, no less, complete strangers?” She had a fair point and you couldn’t disagree on that. “We have history together, it doesn’t matter if you try to erase it.”
“Yeah, and that’s all we’ll ever be.”
“History? What kind of history do you two have together?” Lynn asked you. Her question flew in one ear and out of the other as your eyes remained stuck on Angelina.
“You need to leave!” Cassandra announces, her tone filled with detest for Angelina. “You’re not welcome here and you never will be!”
She ignored Cassandra and patiently looked at you, waiting for an answer.
“One thing about you is that you sure know how to suck the joy out of people.” You tiredly got up and made your way back into the closet with Angelina following closely behind.
Once the door closes, Angelina was quick with her statements but you were faster.
“What are you doing here at my party?” You question, hostility in your tone, “No, better, yet, how did you know where I live?”
“I’m here visiting my grandparents for a mini Halloween holiday.” She explains, “And I saw the invitations around and decided to pop by, to see how you were doing.”
“Well, glad you popped by and now you can pop leave!”
“I swear, that I didn’t know that you were moving in Royal Woods, that’s just a coincidence.”
“Cut the bullshit, Angelina. Why are you really here?”
She stepped closer to you, a defeated sigh escaping her lips when you back away from her. You were already in a confined space, you didn’t need to be in forced proximity to your cheating ex-girlfriend. “I totally deserved that…” she mutters, looking down at the floor shortly before her eyes adjust back to you, “I wanted to say that I was sorry. For everything, with what happened to us. I know that I can’t take it back bu—“
“You’re right, you can’t take back any of it. No…no, sorry is when you forget a birthday or anniversary. Your messed up version of a sorry involves berating me and my sexuality, leading your boy best friend on thinking that you’re interested in him, and cheating on me, knowing that you were a lesbian.” you snapped at her, “You really hurt me, Lina.”
“I know and I’m sorry…nothing that I do can change my horrible actions.” She held her head down shamefully, not daring to look into your eyes.
“I’m gonna need a lot more than sorry from you, Angelina.” You concluded with a heavy sigh. You heard Lynn shout about the time being finished and her tone was hasty.
Both of you exited the closet and Angelina left the party as you took your seat next to Lynn.
“What did you guys do in there?”
“Nothing that mattered,”
She examines your facial features, seeing the gleam in your eyes and your upbeat personality vanish. She wanted to brighten up your mood, and she knew exactly what to do.
Lynn spins the bottle and it lands on you, excitedly she gets up and drags you to the closet. As soon as the door closed, Lynn pounced on you like a wild animal, pinning you to the door. She had trapped you in her arms, and you didn’t put up a fight against her, rather liking the position that you were in. In her eyes, jealousy and possessiveness were floating around. Who knew that jealousy made Lynn so hot?
You stared each other down, both of your pupils dilating from lust, practically urging the other to make the first move and take control of the heated situation. There was something about Lynn’s eyes that you made weak in the knees and completely at her mercy.
Those seconds of silence felt like minutes without the use of movements as well. Without breaking the intense eye contact, Lynn gently let her arms go and placed her own hands at her side.
Inhaling sharply, Lynn’s hand cups your face, pulling you into an electrifying kiss. You were rendered speechless, eyes widening momentarily before melting into the kiss, letting yourself drown in the bliss as you closed your eyes. Trailing your arms down to Lynn’s waist and wrapping into your embrace, sealing your closeness. Her lips were so soft and gentle against yours.
Her hands found the clip holding up your fake wings and snapping it off. Once they hit the floor, Lynn grabbed you by the waist, slamming you into the door, loud enough for everyone else to be aware of what was going on. So without further hesitation, her lips discovered yours in a hot minute and you unloosed her ponytail, tangling your fingers through Lynn’s free hair.
She mutters in your ear, “Jump!” And you were quick to follow through with her instructions. You jumped up and Lynn catches you with ease, her hands resting underneath your thighs, feeling the bare flesh.
“You are so gorgeous,” She pulls away, admiring your blissful state and dilated eyes. Examining your swollen lips and a cocky smirk appears on her lips. “My pretty girl, I get to have you all to myself.”
During your makeout, you manage to undo your choker, flinging the jewelry away, not finding its purpose anymore.
Just then, her kisses started to travel further down to your neck, placing open-mouth kisses there. A tiny whimper escaped your lips when you felt Lynn briefly bite down on your exposed neck, creating a bruise. Soon enough the pain turned into pleasure as you noticed her sucking on your neck, giving you a noticeable hickey.
“Oh, Lynn…” You moaned out.
Your hand gripped the back of Lynn’s head as if your life depended on it. She continued to ravage your neck, almost feeling a primal instinct. She sucks harshly on your neck, marking you profoundly to her liking.
Her overwhelming thoughts had different ways of this current situation and they all lead up to the same conclusion. You and her, all alone at last. There were no more judging eyes, just your [eye color] invested into her brown-amber eyes. And that’s how Lynn liked it, in the privacy of her mind, not worrying about another’s reaction. All she cared about was your reaction and that was all she needed.
Lynn didn’t know how long she truly craved this part of intimacy with you, but she knew that it was rooted deeply within her. You dreamed of this moment ever since you saw her in the navy blue blazer back at her house. That blazer made your thoughts run wild, and you felt ashamed wondering if Lynn was a definite girl kisser and if she was, what kind of kisser would she be? Rough and demanding or soft and sweet. Somehow, she combined all of those methods and still made you feel heavily desired.
Your touch gently grazes the sides of her skirts, being extremely careful of where your fingers might linger where they’re not supposed to.
Eventually, you both had to pull away as you pressed your foreheads together, trying to regain your breathing and composure. The sounds of heavy pants filled the tiny closet.
“I don’t know what came over me…” she mutters, forcefully removing herself from your embrace. She recognizes the shocked expression on your face, and she couldn’t help but felt guilty and slightly ashamed of her self-control when she was around you.
“It’s fine, Lynn.” You chuckle, trying not to take her shove to heart. Ignoring the way that your heartbeat is erratic as your thoughts were still hazy. She made you feel this way, and she knew that you loved it just as much as you did to her. “Obviously, I liked it very much since I didn’t reject it, or else this night would’ve gone way worse.”
“[Name]……”
You talked over her, “Who knew that we’d be here?”
“[Name]……”
“Guess it is kinda ironic that we’re making out in a closet even though you are still in the closet.”
“[Name]……”
“What does this make us now, Lynn? Like, are we a couple or just friends who randomly makeout from time to time?”
“[Name]!” She yells, having the chance of voicing her thoughts in the conversation.
“Oh, I’m so sorry, I totally forgot th—“
“[Name], I need space. Space from me, space from us!”You shook your head, bewildered by her sudden outburst towards you.
You swear that you could have blamed your hearing for being faulty at the moment. What did she mean by that? Was she being for real or just joking, wanting to get a rise out of you? She wanted space, being more specific, she demanded space from you. So what was the reason for her upbringing demand? Her words hit you like speeding bullets, all coming at you all at once, in every direction, and it wounded you like a bitch.
Does she want to break up your situationship before it can officially start? Or did she realize what you and Angelina were, wanting no part of being a rebound for you. Because that was ridiculous, your relationship with Angelina was in the past, and that’s all it will ever be, you weren’t heartless to rebound with Lynn.
Did she realize in the kiss that she needed space from you, that you weren’t the person that she needs at the moment? What did you do wrong to make her feel like this? Was it you or was it her? Did she actually have plausible reasoning for this?
“Space? Why do you need space?”
She remains silent, rehearsing the words in her head, but not speaking out on your behalf. If she, somehow, had the perfect words to soothe you, she wouldn’t waste a second to make things right but she didn’t…and it was eating away at her agonizingly. She felt her heart break at the miserable sight of the pain overtaking your features.
That was the last thing that she wanted to do, that she wanted to witness, to see you in pain. Lynn hated herself for being the one that would be causing you to feel upset.
“I need to figure out my sexuality.” She managed to say. “And I can’t do that with you around.” She didn’t mean for her statement to come off as blatantly rude, but it did and stung you, hard.
“I want you to leave, Lynn.” Tears clouded your vision, avoiding her remorseful gaze as you pointed to the door.
“[Name]…” She tried to convince you to think this through. “Let’s go upstairs to your room, and figure this out.”
“No, I don’t want to figure this out in my bedroom! I want you to tell me the truth!”
“I can’t tell you the truth right now because I don’t even know myself.” She scoffs, slapping her hands at her sides.
“Shit, I need to wrap my whole head around me liking girls- well a girl. Trust me, it isn’t anything personal at all, it’s just that I want to explore my sexuality before we start to date. After I do figure out my sexuality, I need the time to come out to my family.”
“I’m not rushing you to discover your sexuality or give you time to come out to your family, I would never do that to you! I just hated how you kissed me like that, and that you’re gonna leave me high and dry for a couple of days, probably even weeks!! Why would you kiss me so passionately and….I don’t fucking know, Lynn! You have these glorious soft magical lips which work wonders but your brain’s too stubborn to act accordingly.”
Again she didn’t answer you, and this time her silence was running your patience very thin.
“Fine, then!” You sniffle, wiping the ongoing tears, “Then I’ll leave so you can get extra space from me.” Your hand hovers over the doorknob, hearing movement from behind you.
Before you could have comprehended your senses, she swiftly spins you around and passionately kisses you with her hands cupping your face. Fighting the temptation to reciprocate the kiss, her lips were pressed against yours before you finally detached yourself from her. Lynn’s tears were running freely down her face, and you felt too numb to reassure yourself, you could barely comfort Lynn.
“I can’t help you figure out your sexuality, Lynn. That’s all on you.” Was the final statement that you could’ve mustered up at her, harshly pushing her away from you. You opened the door, storming out of the closet, ignoring the many eyes directed at you. On the way upstairs, you ignored your sisters calling out to you.
She had to discover herself, you couldn’t blame her for that but all while putting you in the middle of it, tore you apart. You were beginning to truly love Lynn as she aggressive as she is.
You just hated how her kiss was filled with passion that would keep you dreaming about it for days.
This wasn’t her fault and you understood exactly what she’s going through right now. You were dashing through sexualities like it was hopscotch, the entire ordeal was completely haywire.
You angrily made your way to your bedroom, not caring about your reputation now. Jumping on your bed face first as you scream muffled through the pillows as you cried. You cried, hoping to relieve yourself from this pain, but your mind replays back to Lynn and the conversation. To be honest, you wanted everyone to leave, including Lynn. No loud music to hurt your aching headache any further, just pure tranquility.
The tears didn’t stop flowing, they just began rushing at a faster pace, faster than you can handle. There was a knock at the door, interrupting your crying session. You ceased your tears, suppressing your sniffles as a way to keep silent, hoping that the person will leave you alone.
Although, the knocker was persistent and opened the door, revealing to be your best friend, Gabriella. She walks in and closes the door behind her.
“Didn’t you ditch with Margo?” You lift your head from your pillows, watching her with blurry attentive eyes.
Sitting on your bed, scooting over to you, “Yeah, but you’re more important right now.” A beat of silence wafted after her sentence, leaving you confused about your next words.
“Will you just hold me?” You mumble, tears prickling your eyes as you sit up.
“Yeah, yeah of course,” She opened her arms for you, sighing when you instantly hugged her tightly as if she was leaving you as well.
And she held you as you cried your heart out, feeling numb as you think about recurring events that lead up to your argument with Lynn. Were you too harsh on Lynn, refusing to see her side of the story, leading up to the ruin of your whole relationship?
Gabriella whispered nothing but meaningful words into your ears as she rubbed your back soothingly. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day because today felt like hell, and you were too exhausted, both emotionally, mentally, and physically.

The next morning over at the Louds’ house was productive, to say the least. You changed into a sleeveless mini red plaid dress that dangled over mid-knees with a pair of black converses to match. After getting dressed, Lynn wasn’t upstairs so you assumed that she was downstairs, but to your surprise when you checked, she wasn’t there either.
Lori had informed you that Lynn was out and wouldn’t be back till later. That was how you found yourself conversing with the teen rockstar, Luna Loud. For half of your Sunday morning, you spent with Luna, just discussing each other’s interests. You and Luna settled for breakfast next to each other. You ate some pancakes with orange juice while Luna just ate cereal.
Lunch has rolled around and Lynn arrives back at home, but not empty-handed. You walked up to her, curious to see what she had brought but she gave it to her mom for safekeeping. Luckily for you, the design logo on the mini bag gave it all away; Birmingham Jewelry. You felt completely clueless being fully aware that Lynn wasn’t the type to wear any fancy jewelry at all, mostly sporting tiny earrings.
Although seeing the frown form upon your face after the encounter with her mom, she shrugged it off. She didn’t trust herself with priceless items, especially if she was planning to give them to you. It was safer in her mom’s hand anyways. Better to be safe than sorry, right?
You ventured upstairs, making your way into Lynn’s and Lucy’s room. Lynn was not that far behind, catching up to you rather quickly, her speed becoming an instinct at this point.
“Where were you all morning?” You interrogated, crossing your arms.
“I was out…” The athletic girl trails off.
“Out where?” You pushed her further.
“Look, [name], that doesn’t matter, but I’m here now. So can we just drop it?” She sighs loudly and sits on her bed.
You scoff unconvincingly at her trying to change the topic of your conversation but allowing it with the rolling of your eyes.
“Fine,” You flop your body next to her, looking at her iPad’s screen, noticing that she was on an online shopping website. “So…what are you shopping for?”
“I’m trying to get these new cleats but they’re so expensive…” She groans, gently shoving the tablet in your hands and flinging herself on the bed. “Or the ones that are at a decent price, they don’t have it in my shoe size. It totally sucks!”
“Well, what happened to your current cleats?” You scrolled through the viable options of baseball cleats.
“They’re all worn out and I desperately need one for the new season.” She explains with a tone of annoyance, feeling defeated. You looked at her with sympathy in your eyes, remaining silent, unsure of what to say. “It’s nothing for you to worry about anyways, let’s go get lunch.” She hastily cut you off, not wanting any more non-verbal pity from you.
“Yeah, let me use the bathroom, first.” She nodded you off and you headed towards the bathroom.
When you finished using the bathroom, you were in the hallway and stopped by Luna. “Hey, [name]!” Luna smiles, popping up from her doorway. “Mind if I steal you for a sec? Lynn’s not gonna mind.”
“Sure, don’t see any harm in that.” You complied, walking into Luna’s room.
She grabbed her guitar and sat down on her purple DI box. “Thanks, I just need a second opinion on this tone that I’m working on for my new song.”
“Go right ahead.”
She fiddled with the guitar strings, piecing together an upbeat melody. The lively tune was very hypnotic, almost placing you in a trance but it wavered away when she stopped.
“It’s great, I like it!”
“Thanks, you’re the best, [name].” You nodded in agreement, leaving the bedroom, searching for Lynn, thinking that she’d be where you left her.
“I swear this girl…has a habit of running off whenever I leave.” You mumble to yourself, looking into the empty room in which you last left Lynn.
Her voice seemed near. “So, I brought her this bracelet from this crazy-ass expensive jewelry store and I was planning to give it to her when she has her tennis tournament.” Following Lynn’s voice, you stopped at the twins’ bedroom, finally finding the source of the sound.
Lola’s and Lana’s bedroom door was slightly cracked open, sufficient for unintentional eavesdropping. Neither of the girls noticed you by the door and resumed their conversation.
“Since you’re one of the only people in this family, who has good jewelry taste. I mean, I would ask Leni but then she’d probably tell.”
“Say no more and show me the bracelet,” Lola demands, pausing for a few minutes before sighing, “It’s gorgeous. Is that her birthstone beside her initials, that’s so thoughtful.”
“Really, you think? Cause I spent all weekend having it customized by the jewelers.” Guess that also explained why she was being so secretive whenever she held her tablet around you.
“Oh, I don’t think, I know. Trust me, she’s gonna love it.”
It sparked her confidence. “Thanks, sis.”
“No problem! Now let’s get back to business.”
“Are you sure that she’ll like it, Lola?” Lynn asks with a hesitant look on her face.
“I’m 100% positive!! Now, put some more glitter on there.”

You were already downstairs with your packed bag, sitting on the couch watching television with Lincoln and Clyde while Lynn packs her overnight bag and hauls it downstairs. After spending the weekend with Lynn, your mother only saw it fair to have Lynn spend the weekend at your house. Neither of you has disagreed on the matter, rather enjoying spending more time together.
“Ok, do guys want me to drop you?” Mrs. Loud offers. Lynn joins you on the couch with her overnight bag parked by her feet.
“Oh, no thanks. Mrs. Loud, I’m getting picked up.” You answered.
“By one of your parents?”
“No, by my driver.”
A car honks outside, signifying that your ride is here. “Oh, that’s him. See you guys later.” You barged out the door with Lynn right behind you. You discarded your bags into the limo’s trunk as Lynn did the same and got into the car.
“His name is Mike and he’s my family chauffeur,” You introduce Lynn to him.
“So how rich are you?”
“What? Want me to give you a number?” You playfully ask, taking it as a joke.
It was very surprising when she nodded. “Oh! Well, I would say $5 million rich.”
“$5 million!!” She exclaimed, “Do you know what I could do with 5 million dollars?” You giggled at her outburst, finding it adorable.
“You can do a lot, Lynn.”
An idea came to your head at that moment. An idea that would solve Lynn’s sports problem. You knocked on the small glass barrier that separated you and the driver as he rolled it down. Whispering something inaudible to Mike and he nods at your instructions.
“What are you up to, gorgeous?” She detects that mischievous smirk plastered on your lips.
“Nothing for you to worry your pretty little head about,”
That was all you said, wanting Lynn to play the guessing game for your delight. The car drive to your house was deterred and rerouted to the nearest shoe store.
Lynn noticed the difference in the passing houses that she’d grown familiar with. “Hey, this isn’t the way to your house.” Her eyebrows furrowed in utter confusion.
“I know, baseball girl.” You shrug, “But a certain someone said that they needed new cleats and we’re getting them for her.”
“You don’t have to do that for me, [name].“
You rested your hand on top of hers, and gazed into her eyes, “Well too bad because I want to.”
“What if I don’t want you to?” She folds her arms in a joking manner.
“Then I’m going against your wishes.” You concluded.
The car stops, indicating your arrival at the shoe store, and you two step out of the car. The perplexed look on Lynn’s face was so priceless which had you feeling extremely giddy on the inside.
“Are we gonna stay standing outside all day or are we going inside?”
She grabs your hand, tugging you along with her to the entrance of the shoe store. After two hours of shopping through sports equipment, Lynn is finally done and you’ve never been so bored in your entire life, but there was something about the familiar gleam in her eyes that made you change your mind. Your sentiment towards Lynn’s favorite sport changed just because you knew that she admired it so much.
You, Lynn, and Mike had to carry all of the items to the counter due to there being so many sports items.
Lynn had doubled up on everything. New socks, new cleats, new baseball bats, duffle bags, and batting helmets, and all because you told her to get anything she wanted. Well, she did fulfill her heart’s desire and you were content that you made that happen.
“Is this your dad’s credit card?” She asked.
“No,” You scoff, flashing her the name of the card. “It’s my credit card. We all have our own credit card and bank account, it’s better this way.”
She nodded in acknowledgment with a tint of blush on her face. You paid for Lynn’s items and you all headed back to the car, putting them in the limousine’s back trunk.
“Come on, let’s get food, whatever you want, it’s my treat.”
“Chick-fil-A is the best!”
“Chick-fil-A it is.”
Mike drove down to the nearest Chick-fil-A and you all ate inside, tired of lounging around in the car for the last few hours.
“Why did you pay for all those things for me?”
“I just wanted to spoil you today.”
Since your eavesdropping incident, you wanted to repay her kindness without letting her know that. What? She was already giving you something, so it was all in good time.
During the car ride back home, Lynn slept like a baby in the comfort of your arms. Apparently being a consistent athlete meant that she slept very easily.
Eventually, Mike was granted access to your security gate and he parked close by the front door. You wrapped an arm around her waist so most of her body weight would depend on you. Surprisingly, Lynn was very lightweight, making it easy to carry her outside of the car. While assisting Lynn, Mike had brought all the baggage out of the car and left them in your care.
“I’m not tired.” She mumbles, trying to fight her tiredness. You made it to your bedroom door as you opened it and walked inside.
“Yes, you are.”
You placed the brunette girl on your bed, tugging her into the fresh sheets, watching her slightly stir trying to find a comfortable position.
You left the bedroom for your bathroom to change into your practice outfit, abandoning a sleeping Lynn, and heading into the backyard to practice.
You had set up your tennis trainer, putting it on a medium pace. Your tennis trainer helped launch the balls to you without the help of another person, so it was money well spent.
Within a few hours of your practice, Lynn was finally awake and caught you practicing tennis. She sits down on the singular black bench by the far corner to your right, watching you train freely.
“I thought that you ditched me, and was almost worried for a sec.”
“Oh please, I would never do that to my baseball girl.” You grinned, swinging your racket to hit the flying balls.
“You know, I like it when you’re looking at me.” She emphasized.
“And I like it when I’m winning so hold off for a bit.” Too focused on the practice, you didn’t realize Lynn walking over to your tennis trainer, and turning it off.
“What the hell Lynn?” You shout, now distracted from your tennis rehearsal.
“I told you in advance that I’d rather you look at me.”
“Okay,” You nod before pointing to the bucket of tennis rackets, “Grab a racket and help me practice.”
“W-what? That’s not what I meant.”
“You wanted my full attention during practice and now you got it. Get a tennis racket.”
She sighed and retrieved a tennis racket, walking over to the court.
“Ok, we’ll do a simple round.” You said, flinging the ball in the air before whacking it over to Lynn.
She swung but missed it by a few meters. Not too shabby for a first-timer.
“That was a love for you.”
During the middle of your game, you became more driven with each swing and hit. Lynn felt inclined to pry into your peculiar behavior, “Ok, you’re training harder than I’ve ever seen you do.”
“This is your first time seeing me play.”
“Exactly and I can tell that you’ve been adding unnecessary pressure when hitting the ball. What’s going on with you?”
You fiddled with the green ball in your hands, deciding that practice was finished for today. You threw the ball on the ground, and walked over to her, close enough to the net.
“I have this upcoming tournament and my opponent Emma Campbell is highly known for being the teen best tennis player and I just feel like I might lose to her.”
“What didn’t you tell me?” She gently squeezed your hands, trying to coax an answer out of you.
“Because…you said that tennis wasn’t exactly a real sport.”
“You know [name], tennis isn’t really my forte unlike you. But for you, I’ll try to understand and enjoy it. Tell me when your next game is, and I guarantee that my family and I will be the first ones there.” You giggled at her heart-warming gesture. “And don’t worry about Emma Campbell, I’m pretty sure that half the time that she’s cheating.”
“Really, you think?”
She hums, nodding her head, “Now, I think that you should practice a bit more, but without the force, can you do that for me, beautiful?”
“Of course, I can.”

The next morning was nerve-racking for you as you got dressed. You tied your hair in a ponytail and dressed in a black tennis outfit with a black sports visor and white tennis shoes. On the other hand, the car ride over to the country club eased up your anxiety alongside your family’s reassuring words.
As soon as your car stopped in front of the country club, you grabbed your racket bag and sprinted out in search of a particular brunette. You spotted Lynn and her family in the shaded stands with a giant poster, encouraging your future win. Natalie was there for your support system as well.
Right now, you were in the stands talking with Lynn. To be honest, you did most of the talking or rather rambling while Lynn did her best to alleviate your continuous panicking.
It took Lynn a little while to calm you down. “[Name], I wanted to give you something before you go.” Lynn stops you.
“What is it, Lynn?” You inquire with a confused gleam in your eyes. At first, she didn’t answer as if she was contemplating whether to continue. Your eyes caught sight of a baby blue box in her hands that she horribly hid behind her back. “Is that for me?”
Her eyes widened at your question. “Yeah, it is!” She handed you the box and grinned when you took it from her hands. Lifting the top cover of the box, opening it to reveal a stunning bracelet. It was a beaded bracelet that had your first name initials next to your birthstone.
“It was kinda hard to find your birthstone on such short notice.”
“It’s beautiful, Lynn, thank you.” You cooed, taking the jewelry out of the box and putting it on your right hand. This generous gift certainly felt like a good luck charm bracelet. For a while, you admired the stunning bracelet on your wrist before looking up and noticing the giant poster that her parents held. “Is that why you were in Lola’s room? To make me that poster?”
“How did you know that I was in Lola’s room?”
“Your frustrations were very easy to spot.”
She laughs boisterously, earning a few annoyed looks from strangers but she ignores them. If they weren’t you then she wouldn’t give them the time of day.
“Oh, umm…your sisters wanted me to give you this.” She showed you a dainty gold necklace with a crescent moon lingering at the bottom. You recognized it when you were shopping with your sisters for the first time in Royal Woods. Cassandra had the sun, Madison had the star and you with the moon.
“Can you put it on me?” You ask, giving her the necklace and turning around.
“Of course, anything for you, beautiful.” You felt flush under those words. Those simple words shouldn’t have such a major effect on you but it did.
She brushes your hair to the left and clips the necklace around your neck, securing it. Turning back around to face her, you smile at her, gazing into each other’s eyes lovingly.
Just then, the loudspeaker announces with a booming voice, simultaneously breaking the shared eye contact “May all tennis players make their way to the tennis court. The game is about to start in 5 minutes.”
“You’re gonna crush it!” She bids you off with a cheek kiss, watching you scurry off down to the tennis court, warming up for the last time. Lynn joins her family back at the bleachers and sat down, ready to enjoy the competition.
“So, are you two dating?” Lori asks, leaning into Lynn subtly whose eyes were trained on your figure.
“What!” Incredulously, she turned to look at her eldest sister, breaking her sight away from you, “No, we’re not dating.”
“Are you sure?” Leni chimed in, now seemingly interested. “You two seem pretty close.”
“Yes, I’m sure.” The brunette girl deadpanned.
“Really?” Luna invites herself into the conversation. “Then how come you can afford brand new cleats that are very expensive…and all new sports equipment?”
“[Name] offered to buy me new cleats and other items as well.” She explains with a shrug of her shoulder, “How could I have said no?”
“Really?” Lori persisted with a raise of her eyebrows, “And did [name] offer to buy you lunch as well?”
Lynn nods. “Yeah, so?”
“And it was also Lynn’s idea to create this giant poster.” Lola and Lana walk over.
“Wait, is that why you were gone Sunday morning to buy [name] a bracelet?” Luna questions.
“Yeah, what was the store where you got it from?” Leni rambles, tilting her head to the side, trying to remember. “It was Birmingham Jewelry. Woah, sis, that place is like crazy expensive, those pair of necklaces that I brought from them took me 6 months’ allowance.”
“That jewelry store is the most expensive in town, Lynn. Wow, you really must like this girl.” Lori expresses with a grin.
“Guys, I’m just trying to be supportive.” Lynn finalizes, trying to stop her sister’s meddling in her love life. “There’s nothing wrong with being supportive.”
“As her friend or as her girlfriend?” Luna questions with a skeptical look, folding her arms. Lynn stays silent, avoiding eye contact with any of her sisters, unable to decipher a proper answer. Were they right? Did Lynn hope that you wanted to explore past the bounds of friendship with her? Of course, she did. She fell in love with you the moment that she laid her eyes on you which eventually turned her into a stuttering mess whenever you were with her. However, with the possibility of embarrassing rejection lingering in her mind, she kept her feelings hidden, buried deep down until she was certain that you would reciprocate those feelings back.
“Yeah, because nothing says supportive like a $300 bracelet,” Lori mumbles to Luna and Leni.
Luna drags Lynn away from the huge crowd, despite her protests. The two sisters are by the bottom of the bleaches, not straying too far away.
“Look, Lynn.” The rockstar starts with a deep exhale. “It’s okay to have feelings for [name]—“
“For the last time, I don’t have a crush on her!” She exclaims, momentarily shocking her older sister. “Why does everyone keep thinking that?”
Luna wasn’t convinced by her sister’s outburst, aware that she was in denial. Whether it was her developing feelings for you or the fact that you were a girl seemed to throw her off track.
“You can deny all you want, but we both know that you’re falling in love with [name]. It’s cute to see you all lovesick whenever she’s around.” She smiles, observing the coat of red appearing on her sister’s face by the mention of your name. “Now I’m not saying that you should rush your confession but at least wait it out to see if she’s at least reciprocating those feelings in return. That saves you less pain, regret, and embarrassment.”
“I’ve never had romantic feelings for someone and now when I realize it, I’m scared. I’m still exploring my sexuality.”
“It’s okay to stay unlabeled for now, you’ll know when the time is right. I’m your big sister and I’m not gonna judge you for being you. You’re still my annoying sporty and loving younger sister, Lynn and I love you for it.’
“But what if…” She looks down and sheepishly kicks her feet, “I do confess and she doesn’t like me back, and it ends up all weird between us two.…”
“Then it’s her loss.” She slides a comforting arm around Lynn’s shoulder, “She missed out on someone really awesome.”
“Thanks, Luna.”
“Anytime sis.”
“And besides, if you two lovebirds get together, we can go on double dates.”
“Hard pass.” Lynn laughs, getting a playful shove from Luna, who just laughs as well. Luna was happy that she was able to brighten Lynn’s spirits regarding her possible love life.
The two girls rejoin their family in the crowd. Just then, your family finds their seats next to the Loud family and greets them with a wave of their hands.
Alongside the help of Luna, Lynn confidently holds up the poster with a matching smile etched on her face. “You got this, [name]!” She enthusiastically cheered. Both of your families made noises of encouragement as well.
Down at the tennis court, you heard her voice very faintly but smiled nonetheless.
“Oh, that’s so cute!” Your current competition, Emma Campbell sneers with fake sympathy, “Your little girlfriend cheering for you in the stands, so cliche.” The blonde rolls her eyes. To be honest, you’ve never liked the Campbell girl, whether it was her snobbish attitude or her inconsideration of other people. “Too bad that she’s gonna be cheering for a loser in a few minutes and maybe I’ll steal her away from you.”
“Oh, shut up!” You defended Lynn. “We both know that Lynn could do so much better than you.”
“Why are you so worried about Lynn? Aren’t you two just friends?”
“I never said that!”
“Yeah, whatever!” Emma drags on, “You should know that me and Lynn are kinda an item.”
“What type of drugs are you on?” You boisterously exclaimed. To say that you were shocked would be the understatement of the year. Surely, Lynn would have told you if she was talking to someone else. The athletic girl didn’t seem like the two-timing type, and she wasn’t…she couldn’t be…right?
‘No! Don’t overthink, Emma’s just trying to get under your skin! Besides, Lynn is a great girl, she’s not conniving, she’s generous. She gifted you that specialized bracelet.’ You think. ‘The gesture was sweet and so is she.’
“And how long have you been pining over Lynn for?”
“Doesn’t matter!”
“It does if it concerns Lynn.”
“Fine! I’ve had a crush on her since we were ten!”
You didn’t mean to have a bitchy attitude, you swear. But it just happened, and you couldn’t stop it and you weren’t planning on stopping it either.
“How about this…” She suggested, “Whoever wins this game gets to ask Lynn out on a date. The loser can’t interfere with their relationship.”
You scoff at her desperate attempts of being in a relationship. “Lynn’s not an object! She’s a human girl, like the rest of us, who has feelings. Let her ask out whoever she wants, even if it isn’t any of us.”
“You’re only saying this because you know that Lynn’s gonna choose me.”
“What makes you think that? Is it the lack of communication that you have with Lynn or is it the heavy delusion that lingers in your mind all day? She barely acknowledged you before and when I moved to town, we became instantly captivated with one another.” You say, “So I’m certain that I have a better chance with her than you’ll ever do.”
“You’re just saying that to throw me off my game.”
“Oh, please, throwing you off your game will require you to have any game, and you’re lacking that.”
“What? Scared that you’re gonna lose!”
She was losing this argument and you could tell that she was choking up.
“To you? You’re not even real competition!”
Your bold comment earned a petty eye roll from the other teen as she began the first serve. The first match commenced and the scores were being rallied up.
You were at complete ease throughout the entire game, finding your inner peace with your love for tennis. On the other hand with Emma about Lynn, your jealousy had gained immediate control of your hand performance but you managed to restrain yourself, not needing overkill to happen and cost you the game.
The intensity that you radiated during the game only strengthened when you closely observed your opponent’s strategy to keep herself on point. Although you were in the lead, Emma was sneakily rising slowly. However, your fierce movements didn’t stagger, not even once, highly determined to win.
The medium-sized green ball was constantly tossed, bouncing between the two sides of the court. The sun was blazing, urging you to forfeit the match right then and there in the middle of the intense game. Might as well get used to the scorching heat because this was the first out of three matches to complete.
This tournament was going to be in the bag, and the trophy will be just another memento in your awards case.
The next game passed with ease, putting the crowd in anticipation when the scores were beginning to even up. It was a heavy tie for the second round, bringing up your anxiety.
This was it. The third and final round of your match. It was the final round that would determine your success and prove your ability to maintain a winning streak. You were gonna crush it! And certainly, destroy Emma Campbell’s athletic self-esteem, partially for Lynn, loathing those words that Emma spoke of her.
The judges called for a mini-break, letting you and Emma relax and recharge your energies. You headed over to the table that supplied the refreshments and grabbed a cold bottle of water.
The two families made their way over there as fast as they could, no longer containing their excitement as they bombarded you with chaotic noises.
“That was amazing!” Lynn cheers.
Natalie exclaims with a radiant smile. “Yeah, you were so terrific out there!”
“You crushed it out there!” Everyone else voiced their agreement with your future victory.
“I would totally hug you right now if you weren’t so sweaty.” Leni complies with an innocent grin, “Oh what the hell!” She pulled you in for a short hug, earning laughs as she did so.
You both pulled away from the hug. “Well, I haven’t won yet.” You drink your cold bottled water as it refreshes your dry throat. “So, let’s not jinx it.”
Everyone chuckles and Lynn pulls you away for a private conversation.
“You know what I mean, beautiful, this game is yours,” She bit her lip.
“Thanks for the encouragement, loud.” You tease, shoving her playfully watching the smile emerge on her lips. “I’m feeling more confident by the second.”
“It’s not encouraging if we both know that it’s true. That other girl has nothing on you.”
She handed you three orange slices, making sure that you ate all of them, keeping you well-nourished. Sometimes when you’re too focused on something, you tend to forget about the basic needs such as eating and drinking. Luckily, Lynn had noticed the tiny flaw and she wanted to end that bad habit of yours. “Gotta keep my superstar properly fed.”
Heading back to the rest of the group as you started to talk with Luna and Lori. Emma skips over with a sneaky grin on her face. God, you wished that you could have wiped that stupid smile off of her face.
“Hey, Lynn.” She greets, already managing to get into the brunette’s personal space. Talk about having boundaries.
Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion but her smile welcomes the blonde. “Uh, hey…Emma is it?”
“Yep, you guessed right.” She giggles annoyingly, making you roll your eyes.
“So, what do you want?”
As she speaks to Lynn, you notice how Emma advanced to arm touching, sometimes leaning in slightly whenever she found one of Lynn’s statements amusing. In your opinion, she was too much of a try-hard, and that irked you to your soul. You could see that Lynn was uncomfortable, and it made you furious at the sight. You glared at the blonde girl with hatred in your eyes and decided that two can play that game.
All of a sudden. you felt your hidden anger transport to your plastic water bottle that was held in your hand. With every touch that Emma gave Lynn, the pressure on the bottle intensified until it didn’t…well it couldn’t anymore. The water emerges from out of the bottle, aiming directly at Emma’s face.
She shrieked, flinching at the contact as she tried to shield herself from the attack, coming up to no avail. Stuck in a trance state, you didn’t let go of the bottle and rather squeezed it tighter so your sister Madison didn’t grab the bottle out of your hands until it was empty. Turns out, no one stepped in to cease Emma’s embarrassment, seemingly taking amusement in it as well. It ultimately messed up her rich-girl look, drenching her face and ruining her semi-makeup.
“It’s just water! It’s not gonna harm you.” Cassandra taunts the girl.
Madison shrugs. “You’ll be fine! Just dab some concealer on and you’re good to go.”
Her gaze planted on you was lethal, barely touching the surface of making you tremble. Her supposedly dangerous stares at you made her look like a terrible joke.
To make sure that you rubbed salt directly on the wound, you walked over, wrapped your arm around hers, and kissed Lynn on the cheek before pulling away with a cheery smile. “I’ll see you at my house later,” You wink at her, enjoying the thrill of her flustered state.
You watch as Lynn and both of your families leave and head back to the bleachers with a faux smile plastered on your face.
Once you turned around, facing your arch-nemesis, your smile immediately dropped as you ventured closer to her.
“Listen here, you bitch.” You scowled, with fury rising in your voice. Her eyes stared into yours, trying to intimidate you, desperately failing while doing so.
“If you ever come around Lynn, uncomfortably touch her, or even look at her wrong like that again, you will be done for. I will bash your fucking head in so much that you’ll be completely unrecognizable that even your own mirror won’t remember you.”
“Woah, don’t tell me that you’re overprotective of Lynn.” She was teasing you relentlessly at this point. Practically urging you to fight her with that ugly little smirk on her face. But you weren’t gonna play her stupid mind games like she intended.
Catching her by surprise, you roughly grab ahold of her arm, pulling her in closer by force. So to the bystanders, it looked like you were whispering in her ear, engaged in a friendly banter. Right now, you were feeling anything but friendly towards her.
“I don’t tread lightly with the people that I care deeply about and now that you’re highly aware that Lynn is one of them, I’m letting you off with a simple warning.” Your tone was menacing, slowly seething your words out. “If you’re smart enough, don’t wait around to find out.” She felt herself inaudibly gulp and tremble as you kept speaking. “Or do you, I haven’t fought a rich bitch in so long and need a little deja-vu.”
And with that, you roughly released her arm from your grip and walked over to the court. Emma watched you leave, uneasiness forming in the pit of her stomach at your threatening words.
Stomping her feet like a big baby, she ran off, searching for her parents to assist in fixing up her appearance again.
You felt like you were on top of the world. Now, you just have to win this competition and your success will reign. It was close that you smelt the victory from here.
Tumblr media
You won the game! Fuck, it feels good to relive the moments leading up to your fantastic victory. When the triumphant photo was taken to be put in the country’s club headline for this week, you all had crammed in, wanting to be included. The huge trophy that you held righteously in your hand while being in the middle, sure did you justice.
Your family had hosted a celebratory dinner at the finest restaurant in town. Of course, you were seated beside your beloved Lynn and your best friend Natalie.
“I’m so proud of you, sweetie.” She wrapped an arm around you, pulling you in closer for comfort as she kissed your cheek.
You blushed, feeling yourself heat up on the spot, ignoring the knowing looks from Lori and Luna.
The dinner was an absolute blast so Lynn and her family crashed the night at your house. Your parents showed the Loud family the guest rooms, allowing them the comfort of beds. Somehow, you showered all of the sweat from earlier games, changing into warm pajamas. Tiredly, Lynn had followed you up to your bedroom, seeking your cuddles, in hopes of a good night’s sleep.

The nurse concluded that it was just a sprain, nothing too severe, and advised that it was best to not irritate it for a few days. After the little trip to the nurse’s office, Lynn offered to buy you lunch to make up for ruining your first day by already spending it in the nurse’s office.
You politely declined, not wanting to make her feel that she has to constantly make it up to you. Although she was disappointed, she let it go, not wanting to upset you in any way. She had already seen you injured, so she certainly doesn’t want to experience you being upset.
Lynn liked talking with you and she wanted to contribute more, wishing to interact with you daily. However with the thought of rejection looming in the back of her mind and her words became shriveled up in her throat.
So with a deep exhale, Lynn looks at you. “Hey, do you mind if I get your number?”
And just like that, Lynn found another way to talk to you more frequently.
The athletic girl felt extremely uneasy as soon as that question left her lips, her mind consumed with overwhelming thoughts. Her heart was beating uncontrollably and she wouldn’t be too surprised if you could have heard it as well. It felt like forever as she waited for your reply.
“Why?” You asked the Loud girl.
“Just wanna get to know you, is that such a crime?” She insisted, tilting her head with a teasing glint in her eyes.
You rolled your eyes, pulled out your phone from your back pocket, and handed it to her and she did the same.
Little did you know that Lynn did a mental victory dance at her success. During the middle of your exchange of numbers, Gabriella walks up to you, interrupting your time with Lynn.
“There you were, I was looking all over for you,” Gabriella said before noticing the cast when you handed Lynn back her phone and retrieved your own back. “What happened to your wrist?”
For some reason, you looked down at your bandaged-covered wrist again, somehow forgetting its existence in the short timespan that you’ve had it.
“This one,” you nudge your head in Lynn’s direction, “had hit me with a ball so I had to go to the nurse.”
“Guilty as charged.” Lynn holds her hands in surrender, a playful smile tugs her lips.
Gabriella looks her up and down, eyes slanted with an unpleasant smile on her face. Feeling slightly intimidated by her, Lynn looks over to you, hoping that you would reassure your friend.
“Nat, it was an honest mistake.” You finally spoke with a small smile. “It was my fault really, I wasn’t looking where I was going.”
Unknowingly when Gabriella eventually looked at you, Lynn blinked her eyes rapidly a couple of times and released a breath that she didn’t know was pent-up inside. Oh, Gabriella can be scary when she wants to be.
‘Remind me to never get on her bad side.’ Lynn thought.
Just then another girl walks up to you with a matching outfit to Lynn’s. She must be a part of the baseball team as well.
“Hey, Lynn, where were you? Coach’s losing his shit.”
“At the nurse’s office.” Lynn subtly gestures toward you.
Margo exclaims, shock displaying on her face. “Oh shit, that was you. Hope you didn’t get seriously hurt.”
“No it’s fine, just got a sprain.” You assured the dark-haired girl, showing your bandaged-covered wrist to her.
“Come on, now you must be pretty special already.” Margo teases as she wraps her arms around you and Lynn. Staring at you two back and forth as her smirk appears on her face. “Don’t tell me that Lynn already has a girlfriend!”
She turns to look at you, tuning her voice down to a whisper, “Cause Lynn doesn’t ditch baseball practice for just anyone.”
Your eyes widen as Lynn pushes Margo off of the both of you.
“Ok, Margo I was perfectly fine with her being unaware of that.” She said curtly, her eyes still not meeting yours but her friend’s. Very vaguely, you spotted a deep crimson red across Lynn’s cheeks but brushed over the observation, purely pinning the blame on your faulty eyesight.
“Oh dang, really!!” Margo complained, stomping her feet like a child, “Well that tiny secret is out of the bag.” she shrugs bashfully, seemingly ignoring Lynn’s annoyed face.
Being uneasy with the pair of watchful eyes, mainly directed by her best friend, Margo speaks up and claps her hands together. “Seems that I’m no longer wanted so I’ll just take my exit.” She begins to walk away before stopping midway, turning around, and pointing to Lynn. “And also Lynn, coach said to be back in 5 minutes or your ass is grass.” With that, Margo saunters off, retreating to practice.
You turned towards Lynn who has an embarrassed expression on her face. “Sorry about her.” She awkwardly scratches her neck, still relieving her embarrassment.
“No worries, it’s fine besides she’s funny.” She chuckles seeing you smile from your comment. Lynn places her red cap on your head, securing it comfortably to assess your braids’ standard.
“Woah! Woah!” you backtrack, gripping onto her arm midday, currently halting her from placing the cap on your head. “What are you doing?”
She shrugs your hand off of her arm and continues. “That’s my lucky cap and I’m placing it on your head, so don’t lose it.” Lynn gave her cap one last tug on your head.
“If you don’t want it getting lost then don’t give it to me.” You would be surprised by how much shit that I’ve lost.”
You started to remove the cap from your head but a soft hand stops you. Looking up you notice Lynn’s hand on top of yours in a caressing manner. Butterflies instantly swarm up in your stomach by the simple physical touch, you shouldn’t be this lovesick already. But the temptation was too much of a struggle to refrain from gazing back into Lynn’s olive-green eyes.
Her eyes were so stunning, so inviting and alluring that you found yourself melting in them.
“No, keep it, then that will be another reason to find you tomorrow. Besides, I’d never get anything done without my lucky charm.”
For some reason, Lynn wanted to be the girl with the last lingering look and you foolishly allowed it, being charmed by her beautiful smile. Walking backward slightly as a wide grin creeps up onto her face, watching your flustered state, fully aware that she was the reason for it.
If only you knew how much you altered her ego.
“I’m telling you now, loud. I’ve lost things faster than I can remember.”
By the time you finished your sentence, Lynn had already disappeared, probably making her way back to baseball practice.
“Lunch’s soon over, let’s hurry up and get you something to eat,” Gabriella suggests with an affirmative smile as you both leave for the cafeteria.
The rest of the school day went by fast and before you knew it your chauffeur had already dropped you and Madison home. Your first day of school was tolerable so hopefully, it remains like that for the rest of the school year. Only you and Madison were home at this time. Despite just moving into this town, your parents planned their job preparation beforehand and were quick to be back on their feet, rushing to resume their careers. Your parents admired their jobs as a lawyer and a therapist, but never put their work above family.
Of course, your parents wouldn’t be home till after 5, so you were free for the time being.
Cassandra might be at the most expensive spa in Royal Woods, blabbering new gossip to the employees, getting a kick out of the drama. So her absence was the least of your worries.
Tumblr media
After changing into your tennis uniform, you headed down to your outdoor tennis court and practiced for a good 25 minutes. Although you were right-handed, you needed to use your left hand due to your sprained right wrist. In a way using your left hand had gained you some knowledge that you played slower than usual.
You had an upcoming tournament down at the country club and with your persistence to always win, you were doing exceptionally well, perhaps even better with your left hand.
You regularly tended to tire yourself out frequently and Madison was always there with a bottle of water alongside a snarky comment telling you to go shower.
Your shower was refreshing as it was long, just the way you liked it. You decided to change into something comfier to suit the mood. Tying up your braids in a ponytail, using your white fuzzy headband as an additional accessory to connect your whole outfit.
Heading downstairs to get a snack to quench your hunger, your phone went off, indicating that someone is messaging you. You didn’t acknowledge the message until you grabbed your favorite snack and a bottle of water from the pantry, venturing back upstairs to your bedroom. With a relaxed sigh, you jumped on your bed, quickly discarding your bag of chips and bottled water on your queen-sized mattress, and opened up your phone.

During your conversation with Lynn, you opened your bag of chips and began eating them, giggling in between chews whenever Lynn’s texts were hilarious.
Just then, you hear your doorbell ring and Madison shouts, “Get the door, [name]!”
You groaned rolling your eyes as you forcefully moved away from your bed and walked downstairs. On the way to the door, you began to practice your fake smile, drained of all your energy from today, so, therefore, your patience was running thin.
Pesky neighbors weren’t on your schedule for this week, maybe they’d be tolerable the following week after.
Opening the front door, you were met with a family, all dressed in their personalized clothing. “Hi, how may I he—“ All of a sudden, you recognized a familiar face as your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “Wait, Lynn is that you?”
At the mention of her name, she turns to look at you, her eyes widening once she realizes your voice. “Holy shit, [name]? You live here??” Lynn asks, bewilderment covering her features. “I just thought that you were the new girl, not the rich new girl.”
“Language, sweetheart.” The blonde woman chastised through gritted teeth at her athletic daughter, her attention not wavering at all.
“It’s kinda hard not to when we’re at a freaking mansion,” Lynn exclaims.
“Hello there, we live three houses down from you, I’m Lynn Loud Sr.” the brunette man introduces himself with a smile and pointed to the woman beside him, “She’s my wife, Rita Loud and these are all of our kids.”
Consider yourself shocked by there being a total of eleven children in your presence.
“We just wanted to stop by and introduce ourselves as kind neighbors.” Rita chuckles, clutching onto a basket full of cookies and handing them to you in a friendly gesture, “This is welcome to the neighborhood basket.”
“Baked it myself.” the father gleefully speaks as you accept the basket.
You looked down in the basket, inspecting the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. “Thanks for the delicious dessert basket, and I’ll make sure that my family enjoys it.” You nodded in amusement, your attention focused on the insanely large family who was all just staring back at you.
Being accustomed to having the attention of many people, you weren’t easily creeped out as more of being flattered.
“Have a good day!” you shouted as you closed the door, seeing them leave the premises.
“Who was that at the door?” your sister finally walks in, eyeing the basket of cookies in your possession, “More importantly what did they bring?”
“One of our new family neighbors who live three houses down,” You informed her as you wandered into the kitchen. Once in the kitchen, you rest the basket on the kitchen counter.
Madison followed you into the kitchen, the sweet scent of the cookies luring her in. You opened the fridge, took out the milk and Madison grabbed two glasses from the cupboard. pouring two glasses of milk, you enjoyed it with the warm cookies, savoring the taste in your mouth.
In much less than an hour, you and your sister devoured all of the cookies that were in the basket, only the crumbs left as evidence. Well…you stayed true to your word, the cookies were delicious and at least half of your family enjoyed them.
Later that evening, your parents and older sister returned home with the greasy smell of take-out.
Keeping your promises, you informed your parents at the dinner table. “Our new neighbors, the louds gave us a welcome basket.”
“Oh, that was so sweet of them.” your mom coos, taking a sip of her wine.
“Maybe we could have them over for dinner as a thank you.” your dad implies. You nodded along in agreement, thinking if you should tell Lynn in advance or let her find out from her parents. Ehh…you kinda wanna see how that one will play out.
Soon after finishing your dinner, you made your way back to your room. Laying up in your bed, your phone sets off a notification and your eyes light up at the messenger, immediately unlocking your phone as you begin to start typing.
new girl ☺️❤️
those cookies were so delicious
baseball girl ⚾️❤️
it would have been nice to give me a heads up
new girl ☺️❤️
and where’s the fun in that? 😆
baseball girl ⚾️❤️

Two weeks later and your online conversations with Lynn became more frequent than you had hoped for. She would always wake you up with a good morning text and end it with a good night text. She was such a sweetheart.
Your sisters accidentally found out about Lynn and wouldn’t stop taunting you about the athlete. Sometimes, they successfully got your parents to join in the wholesome entertainment.
As for Lynn in her household, she was in the same predicament, being constantly occupied with her phone, blatantly refusing to interact with anyone else. Luna and Lori caught onto Lynn’s new behavior and informed their parents. Of course, this worried her family, but Lynn reassured them that it was just natural. Her family deemed it natural when they discovered that it was a harmless crush.
“Why don’t you invite her over tomorrow?” Rita recommended it to her daughter. “Show her around the town.”
“That’s a great idea, mom. thanks, I’ll go ask her right now.” She begins to run upstairs.
“Nuh-uh…you’ll text [name] after you eat dinner with the rest of your family.”
“But- mom,” Lynn grumbles, prepared to make up an excuse.
“No buts!” Her mom was quick to shut her attempts down.“Your dad spent hours busting away in that kitchen so don’t think that eating fast will get you out of this as well. You will spend time with your family and enjoy it.”
Begrudgingly, she obeyed her mom and rejoined her family at the dinner table.
During one of your nightly texts, Lynn decided to bring up the question. Now necessarily, Lynn wasn’t the most open when inviting people into her home, especially around her chaotic family. However, she knew that she couldn’t speak for you so she decided to drop the ball, just to see how it turns out.

new girl ☺️❤️

Lynn spent the entire night researching and creating a homemade brochure of the town’s best sights while making it creative to your liking. For future reference, she added the country club, knowing that tennis is regularly played there by mostly rich residents.
It was the little details that made her hard work so special.
“She’s gonna love it.” Lynn faintly hums, tiredness getting to her. Before she knew it, Lynn was knocked out cold across her bed, happily waiting for tomorrow to arrive.
After texting Lynn, you headed downstairs and were just in time for dinner to get started. “Hey dad, mom, you don’t mind if I go over to Lynn’s tomorrow? She’s offered to show me around town.”
“She seems kind enough to go out of her way, so why not?” Your mom confirmed with a soft smile.
“Thanks, mom.”
“Ohh…who’s Lynn?” Madison questions with a cocky smirk.
“It’s not such a big deal.” You groan.
“It is a big deal! If our baby sister’s in love already.” Cassandra teases, participating in Madison’s antics. “Now I’ve got to see this mystery girl for myself.”
“Oh, shut up!” You exclaim at your sisters, wanting the teasing to stop, but the burning desire in your stomach felt very overwhelming to contain at the moment. “Besides she’s just a friend, can’t I just text a friend?” You hastily said, wanting to just move past this conversation that required the update of your love life.
“Sure.” Madison murmurs to her dad. “Give it a couple of weeks.”
Annoyingly, your sisters had other plans, both choosing to ignore your distress and continue to taunt you more.
“Yeah, [name]’s right guys,” Cassandra nods her head in agreement and turns to you, putting her hand on your shoulder. Wait a minute…was she agreeing with you for once? This was an unbelievable moment. “That’s how the best relationships start…from the root of a healthy friendship.”
The shimmering smile on your face instantly deflates so guess that you spoke too soon. You shouldn’t be this surprised by now, your sisters were endlessly teasing you from the moment they recognized the lovesick aura that reflected off of you.
“Isn’t that the girl that you’ve been glued to your phone with almost every day?” Your dad joins in the conversation.
“Now I wouldn’t say that I was glued to my phone almost every day.” You rolled your eyes and folded your arms as you denied the accusations. If they were going to tease you, they should at least have their facts in order, otherwise it was just useless.
“Yeah, I’m pretty sure that you were addicted to your phone ever since you started to text this Lynn girl.” Madison comments, “Always so private and defensive whenever I bring up her name.”
Your mom winks at you. “Well, I can’t wait to meet her.”
“What?! Mom, seriously, you’re in on this too?” You felt betrayed at the revelation. “We just moved into town two weeks ago. There’s no way that I could already have a girlfriend.”
“And we’re loving how slow and steady you’re being especially after Ang–“ Your mom states, not realizing her colossal upcoming mistake.
“Don’t!” you inhale sharply, abruptly interrupting her as you hesitate for your next words, “Please don’t say her name.” Your voice tuned down into a shortened whisper.
The loud clattering of forks against the plates immediately halted as you felt peering eyes staring at you, eager for your reaction.
“Ok, y’know what. All of a sudden, I’m not so hungry.” You left the dinner table and stormed off to your bedroom. You heard your mom call after you, but you just ignored her, trying to blink away your incoming tears.
Why would your mom bring up her name? I mean, after all this time…when you’re finally moving on with your life. Hopefully, you could’ve slept on that rough patch and forgotten all about it by the next morning.
Tumblr media
Your dad dropped you at the Louds’ house by 10 am sharp. You knocked on the front door several times and waited for someone to open the door. It took a few more seconds of rocking awkwardly on your feet until the door finally opened.
“Hey, [name].” Lynn greets you with a soft smile, letting you inside her house.
“Hey, Lynn.” You walked in, reciprocating a welcoming smile and she shut the door behind you.
“I just have to grab something and we’ll leave.”
“Ok, family time for the clean up day,” Lynn Sr. announces.
“Can’t we do this another day, dad?” Lynn starts to complain, “I have a guest and I don’t want to bore her with my chores, and besides we had a whole day planned together.”
Her father sarcastically frowns, “Sorry, sweetie, clean up day is clean up day.”
Lynn groans, annoyed at the drastic turn of events. This was not how she dreamed this day would happen. The brunette girl looks over at you with a vanished gleam in her eyes, “Sorry that our day was ruined, I had a lot of activities planned. I don’t suppose you wanna help me clean, do you?” she bit down on her lower lip, anticipating a reply from you. The brunette girl hoped that you didn’t take the day's cancellation to heart, and will ultimately brush it off.
You smiled, taking the athlete by surprise, and grabbed her hand intertwining it with yours. Lynn felt herself freeze up on the spot, her mind not comprehending the innocent action. Of course, Lynn didn’t refuse the hand-holding and embraced it for her comfort. Even if she had rejected your sweet gesture, she couldn’t bear to witness your disappointed face and receive a somber attitude from you afterward.
She tightened the grasp as she raised your conjoined hands in the air, going along with your tactics.
“It’s fine, Lynn. You’ll just make it up to me later, right?”
She begins to stutter, crimson red darkening her cheeks as she starts to stutter out, “Yeah—yes, sure, whatever you wanna do.” Allowing you to drag her toward her family line.
Throughout the whole instructions from her dad, Lynn couldn’t seem to cling to the concept, her erratic heartbeat drowning out her dad’s speech.
The close proximity, the hand-holding, the lingering looks, and the touches were all too much. Too much for Lynn to handle alone and she desperately needed to know if you felt the same and wanted you to have some of the weight as well, but she couldn’t find it in herself to do so.
Her mind was completely blank of ideas on how to get you back, possibly because her mind was feeling hazy by her overwhelming thoughts.
Could you have felt how sweaty her palm was? Surely, you would have figured out how nervous you’re currently making her. Perhaps it was a game to you, to see who would snap first and reclaim your ego. It didn’t matter to Lynn though, she was going to enjoy every minute of it.
To make matters worse, you laid your face against her clothed shoulder and began gently tracing on her arm with your fingers in a rhythmic pattern. In response, Lynn rested her head against yours, her eyes trained on her dad despite wanting to see your reaction.
Then all of sudden, you leaned in her ear, your lips just barely hovering over her ear lobe, “Are you okay, Lynn? You seem zoned out.” The soft shudder that escaped her lips was hardly audible, thankfully that you couldn’t discover how frustrated you were making her.
All because of a voice. In particular, it was your sultry voice that made her legs tremble like jello. She hated how vulnerable she was around you, always used to putting up an outgoing-aggressive personality. She loathed how all of her walls crumbled whenever you were around her because ever since she met you, she became a rambling mess.
That was all it took for Lynn’s mind to spiral out of control. You had rendered completely speechless and she didn’t like the odd feeling.
She was purely convinced that you knew exactly what you were doing…with those innocent glances and sweet touches that may seem friendly on the outside but she knew deep down inside that they were anything but friendly. Well…at least that she hoped.
But surprisingly, she had kept her cool and mentally regained her power over her speech. Lynn cleared her throat, leaning over slightly to whisper back to you as she sneakily spared you a glance. “Yeah, I’m fine, [name].”
“Ok, louds get to cleaning.” Lynn’s dad cheers, clapping his hands together, urging his children to start their respective chores.
Her eyebrows brunch up in confusion as she stammers out, “Wait, dad, what was my cho— oh forget it.“ Lynn cut herself off after seeing her father disappear upstairs alongside many of her siblings.
Due to her daydreaming and possible overthinking, Lynn didn’t hear anything that was being spoken so she was confused about what her chore was.
The brunette girl turned to look at you, assuming that you had paid attention. Luckily for her, you were actually listening…and partially giving Lynn lingering looks past her shoulders, but nonetheless, you knew what chore was given to you.
“We’re on kitchen duty alongside Lincoln.” You informed her with a weak smile watching the relief overtake her features.
When you both started the kitchen, you divided the tasks evenly and gave them specific tasks. Lincoln went off to clean the dinner table as you and Lynn stayed behind in the kitchen.
In the midst of cleaning the kitchen with Lynn, she had momentarily disappeared on you, so regardless you continued your chore. Her absence wasn’t going to affect your cleaning, she announced that she was coming right back anyway.
While clearing and drying the wet dishes from the sink, you heard shuffling behind you.
“Great job, girls.” Lynn’s dad encourages the both of you as he briefly walks past the kitchen. “The kitchen’s looking better already.” You kindly smiled in appreciation at his approval.
“Hey, [name]. I need your opinion on something real quick.”
“Sure, what is it?”
“This kinda requires you to look at me.”
It was when you finally turned around to speak that you detected the difference in Lynn’s outfit, she was now wearing a black blazer over her jersey and held a duster in her right hand.
To be honest, she looked absolutely gorgeous in that black blazer.
“How do I look? Is it too much?” She asks, smoothing out the blazer. You remained silent, unable to force any words out, still taking in the new addition to her appearance. “You good, there, cutie? You just seem a little bit star-struck.” Her smirk was too big to miss. She was so cocky yet, you somehow loved it.
You hesitated, gripping the drying cloth. “Ok, first of all, the blazer totally suits you but you shouldn’t be wearing a blazer when cleaning, it’s going to get dirty.” You advised your friend.
“It’s not going to get dirty if I’m not cleaning,” Lynn stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“Lynn, are you serious? Ditching work to do some dumb shit.”
Lincoln pops up, beside his older sister. “I don’t know, [name], kinda seems like a good idea.”
“See, Lincoln gets it.” She points to her brother with the duster.
“That’s because he’s your brother and he wants to ditch work too.” You scoff at Lincoln’s smart cunning act.
Lincoln nods and smiles, “Great minds think alike, [name].” The white-haired boy leaves the kitchen.
“Okay, I’m not really loving this attitude from you, sweetie.” She rolls her eyes at you.
“Well, forgive me,” You harshly threw the cloth over your shoulders and started stalking towards her. Lynn’s posture started to shrink with every step you took towards her and eventually, your bodies were pressed together. You were practically touching noses and you could have seen Lynn’s confidence wavering away within the second. It sparked something in you, wanting to see her confidence falter like that. Might you be surprised that you found it quite endearing to your advantage, to be the only person to achieve what you can do to Lynn Loud Jr. “If I’m just looking out for you, sweetie.” The last word was filled with pure annoyance.
You turned around, ready to walk away to continue your last of the dishes, and with your back turned, it gave Lynn the chance to quickly ponder on how to get you flustered. She was swift with her movements when her hands are wrapped around your waist, spinning you back around to her. Releasing a surprised gasp, completely shocked by the hand placement and now she had the upper hand in this situation and she was relishing her victory with the smirk forming on her lips.
“Careful, [name], and I just might think that you’re falling for me.”
You sneer, feeling yourself flush like a complete idiot, “In your dreams, loud.”
She slowly chuckles, her grip tightening on your waist, eyes deliberately rising to connect to your dilated (e/c) ones. “Then why haven’t you pulled away from me, yet, then, gorgeous?”
You were stunned at her question. That was a good question: why haven’t you resisted her advances when you apparently disagreed with her? Generally speaking, you were too much in a trance to pull away from Lynn, but you weren’t admitting to that out loud.
Her sister, Luna walks in, noticing the position that you’re both in, “Woah!! Get a room, lovebirds.” Then she leaves right from her entrance.
Those words snapped you back into reality as you pushed Lynn off of you, staggering on your feet momentarily before regaining your balance. You smoothed out your clothes as Lynn just stared at you with a hidden glint in her eyes and that hazy smile on her lips. Even though you were irritated at her, Lynn still managed to find you amusing.
“Come on, let’s go do your news reporter thingy.” You stood up straight and cleared out your throat. You left the kitchen and Lynn immediately followed after you, leaving no final thoughts behind.
By the time you reached upstairs, you heard Mr. Loud’s voice from Luna and Luan’s room. You walked in the middle of the conversation, staying hidden by the door alongside Lynn.
“Keep you guys on task and take care of— good gravy, where’s Lily?” He shouted in distress, pointing down to the blank space which was meant to be Lily’s presence.
Just then, Lynn appears from the doorway, using the cleaning duster as a makeshift microphone. “Oh…dad, already lost Lily and already told mom that he’d watch her…excited to see how this one unfolds.” She finishes, earning confused looks from her dad and sister.
“And this is…” He trails off.
“I decided if I don’t make it as a professional athlete, I need a backup plan, so I’m practicing to be a sports announcer.” She explains to them.
“You’re off to a good start, Lynn.” You joked.
The doorbell from downstairs rang, alerting us that someone was there.
“It’s probably child services.” He mutters to himself. “Ok, you three girls find Lily and I’ll cover.” He instructs before leaving the room.
“Who are you again?” Luna questions, pointing to you with a skeptical look on her face.
“I’m [name].” You reintroduced yourself, “We met when your family introduced yourselves as my new neighbors.”
“Ohh…” It finally dawns on her as she clicks her tongue, “I remember you. You’re that girl that Lynn won’t non-stop gushing about every day. I swear that she seems so smit—“
“Ok, I thought that we were going to keep that between us.” Lynn drags you away, cutting Luna’s statement off.
“Hold up, baseball girl.” You stop her in the middle of the hallway, “What was that all about?”
At first, she avoided your questioning gaze, deciding to keep her pride together. It was the deafening silence that gave you all the answers which you needed.
“You talk about me? To your family.” You questioned with a sympathetic smile.
“Yes, I do.” She sheepishly replies, “I hope you don’t find that weird.
“It’s not weird if I did that same thing as well.”
“We’ll call it even.” Lynn finalizes, putting her hand out.
“Deal.” You accepted with the handshake, completing it with a firm grip. You and Lynn made your way downstairs and you began to ask, “So you just pop up from out of nowhere?”
“Yeah, [name], that’s kinda the point! Also, you’re free to do sportscasts with me if you’d like as well. It’s typically a two-person job.” Lynn offers, “I think that I have a matching blazer if you’re up for it.”
“That’s quite alright, Lynn.”
“Oh well, suit yourself. We could have been an awesome duo.”
Going according to Lynn’s plan, you had walked into another misunderstanding just in time.
“Hey, dad, you might want to clean the fancy glasses yourself. I think some of them are busted.” Lincoln strolled in with a beach ball in his hand, wearing beachwear.
Suddenly, Lynn appears from the corridor, “Oh…something’s busted alright and his name is Lincoln Loud.” Long story short, Mr. Loud found Lincoln’s punishment viable for doing yard work all by himself.

Deeply interested in searching for his youngest daughter, Lynn’s dad is in distress by moving clothes that aren’t where they were supposed to be.
Lynn zoomed in on her imaginary headshot. “With his back against the wall, dad throws a desperation hail mary…and lies to mom.”
He throws a pile of dirty clothes into the twins’ room before speaking, “Not in the mood Lynn.”
Lynn bashfully shrugs and vanishes back into her room to find you sitting on her bed. You looked around in amazement at her side of the room, “Can tell that you’re sports-obsessed, loud.”
“What can I say?” She shrugs with a giddy smirk, “I’m very easily captivated.”
Your phone goes off, interrupting the so-called moment. “Hey, get this, but our moms met and conjured up a plan so now I’m sleeping over at your house for tonight.”
When she remained silent, your curiosity grew wild. “Did you have some part in this little arrangement?” You squint your eyes at Lynn.
“What— no!” Lynn actively denied your accusations, “What gave you that stupid idea?”
“Yes she did, she basically begged mom to do it.” Luna passed the room.
“Thanks again, Luna,” She yells at her.
“Well luckily for you, I enjoy sleepovers.” You walked closer to her watching the blush on her cheeks form intensely. You had her wrapped around your finger, and you loved it to the very core. Without hesitation, you leaned in and kissed her cheek passionately, leaving a faint print of lip gloss there once you pulled away. “I will call one of my sisters to pack me a bag.”
A loud whistle echoing around the house stops your conversation.
“That’s a family meeting, it’s a requirement for us to be there.” Lynn managed out, still mesmerized by the cheek kiss that you passionately gave her as she humored your confused expression.
Turning to your heel as you exited the bedroom, heading downstairs. Meanwhile, Lynn’s still in her room, grinning happily as her fingers trace over the area that you recently kissed and the crimson red fades away from her face.
“The reason I called this family is because Lily is missing.” He rambles, walking back and forth. “I mean she’s not missing… It’s just that I can’t find her. If there’s one thing that I’m proud of, it’s the fact that I can keep track of all my kids.” He finally looked at his remaining children. “Where are all my kids?”
In chronological order, there were Lisa, Leni, Lynn, [Name], Luna, Lana, and Luan.
Flashing her head in the tv’s direction, “If you’re just joining us, dad promised mom that he wouldn’t lose Lily and now…he’s lost…” She looks to you for an answer and you hold up four fingers to confirm as she briefly nods to you in thanks. “Four of his eleven children.”
Mr. Loud scoffs and sits back down. “I know where Lily is.” Lisa started with a bit of uncertainty in her tone.
He jumps out of his seat and lets out an enthusiastic yell, “Great!”
“She’s in another dimension…” She hesitates, her tone fills with disappointment.
His happy energy instantly deflates as he lets out a sorrowful, “Great..”
“I accidentally zap-mastered her, right now, the best course of action would be to have somebody hold this tracking device.” Lisa pulls out a small circular device and continues to explain, “Then zap them in the same dimension, of course, there's a possibility that person would be sent to an entirely different dimension or possibly a bottomless black hole.”
“I’m sorry, what?” You intervened, peeking your head out from Lynn’s tall figure.
“You must be new here!” The blonde girl, whom you assumed was Leni, said, “This happens almost every day…or is it every week?”
“You’ll get used to it,” Luna whispers to you from behind.
“Okay, okay,” Mr. Loud tries to process the new information in his head.
He suddenly then turns to his children with hopefulness in his tone, “Who would like to do that?” Amongst hearing that, there were many beats of silence, all of his children collectively disagreeing.
“Why don’t we put one of the tracking devices on one of Lana’s pets?” Luna suggests and Luan makes a hum of encouragement.
“Sounds great, pops.”
“That’s a good idea.”
Lana clarifies. “The only one brave enough would be Hops but we're not on speaking terms since I put him on a low-carb diet.”
Lynn Sr. rises from his seat, “Sometimes a man’s gotta do what, what a man’s gotta do.” At first, it sounded inspirational, almost making it believable until it wasn’t. “Let’s get Hops a piece of bread and see if we can talk him into it.” Everyone unanimously agreed as they all headed to the kitchen, leaving a bewildered Lana behind.
Tumblr media
The whistle is loudly used again, commanding the remaining children into the living room.
“The reason I called another family meeting is to inform you all that I’m going to find Lily. I’m also going to find Lola, Lucy, and Lincoln. Where is Lana?”
Like magic, Lynn reports back to another imaginary camera. “This is a sports update with Lynn Loud that dad has now lost, not four, but five of his eleven children.”
She plants the makeshift microphone in front of your face, “How do you feel about the events that have transpired?” You squinted your eyes at her and shoved the duster right back in her face.
Her attention shifted back to her dad who’s started to spiral into overthinking. “Your mom is gonna kill me. I don’t think this could get any worse,” He came to terms with reality before shouting again; “Where is Luan?”
You all simultaneously looked at the empty presence of Luan, wondering where she could have gone. Somehow, you and Lynn ended up in the basement upon your discovery of finding the missing sisters, except for Lily.
“Well, at least I get a break from Lynn’s nonstop sportscasting.” Luan seemed relieved.
“Boo!” Lynn pops up, scaring her sisters in the process, “The crowd did not like that one.”
Luan chuckles, placing a reassuring pat on your shoulder, “Me and Coconuts are gonna go find that doorknob.” She stepped forward before a loud growling sound ceased her from doing so.
She backs up in a huddled form with her younger sisters except for Lucy, who just stands there. Instinctively, Lynn’s arm protectively wraps around your waist and pulls you in closer to her chest.
Later on, Leni, Lisa, and Luna made their way down to the basement, leaving all of you trapped there. So the next best thing was to yell for help and only prayed that we would be rescued. Apparently, Lynn Sr. came to the rescue but absentmindedly locked himself in the basement as well. Lola caught her dad up to speed with the whole metal monster, and it terrified him.
This was getting ridiculous and even by your standards. So you concluded that you would terminate this monster and escape this eerie basement.
“Ok, this is stupid,” You mutter, making your way to the machine before a hand pulls you back, halting your movements.
“Where are you going?” Lynn questions, tugging on your arm.
“I’m getting this over with and finding Lily.” You said rationally as she let go of your arm.
“Fine then I’m coming with you.” She concludes, walking forward as well.
“Lynn, I don’t need you coming with me.” You sigh.
“What if you get lost?” She steps closer to you.
Now you stepped closer to her. “It’s a small basement Lynn, I highly doubt that possibility.”
“There’s nothing wrong with being safe.” She proceeded until your noses were barely touching and your eyes were making intense eye contact. It was the reenactment in the kitchen all over again, except there was an audience and a very confused one at that.
“Would you two stop flirting and get a move on!” Luna states, receiving multiple noises of accordance from the others.
“Woah! Woah, let’s take it down a notch.“
“We’re not flirting!” You simultaneously argued with their allegations.
“Yeah, and it totally looked like you weren’t about to kiss as well.” Lola sarcastically comments, folding her arms.
Lynn’s eyes widened at that statement. “Kiss? Pmmmph…we definitely didn’t kiss.” Anyone with eyes could tell that she was freaking out by the second.
“Alright, that’s enough talking out of you.” You tugged on her arm, dragging her away from her crowd of a family.
“Oh, I’m definitely getting them together,” Luna mutters to herself.
Sticking side by side, you and Lynn sauntered closer to the so-called monster’s presence. Then, you finally saw it, their appearance expanding when they staggered close by. It looked like those cartoon robots on the kid’s channel, but you two only stepped closer to the unknown shadow, not even intimidated by it.
She emerges from the shadows, revealing it to be the cute blonde toddler. “Boo!” You smile sweetly as she walks towards you with a dopey grin and hands Lynn the missing doorknob.
“Up-up!” She cutely babbles, motioning to you with grabby hands that she wants to be held. Of course, you accepted the 5-year-old into your arms and ventured back to the others.
“Look at who we found!” You exclaimed, back in the presence of the large family. They all cheered in victory when they noticed the familiar toddler in your arms, all snuggled up into your neck and their chants rise when Lynn showed them the doorknob.
“Our family’s all together again.” Lynn Sr. rejoices and looks at Lily, “Lily, do you understand the magnitude of this moment?”
“Magnitude!” She praises, raising her arms in the air. Everyone laughs in amusement and Mr. Loud looks around, “Where is Lincoln?”
Eventually, Lynn Sr. fixed the doorknob and got everyone out of the dark basement. Walking past the clean kitchen, Lynn’s dad was impressed by the job well done.
“Glad someone actually did their chores.”
Tumblr media
The family movie was finished and it was nearing nightfall, having your sleepover bag after Madison dropped it off earlier. After having a relaxed shower and changing into some rather comfortable pajamas, you and Lynn head downstairs for dinner.
You were seated in between Luna and Lynn while Leni and Luan were sitting directly in front of you.
“[Name], I hope you like lasagna or as I would like to call it my lynn-sagna.” Mr. Loud exaggerates with a smile.
“It’s one of my favorite dishes,”
“That’s great!”
The dinner was delicious, dare you even say, one of the best cooking that you’ve ever had.
Getting ready for bed by brushing your teeth and doing your skincare routine, you were hogging up the bathroom for a good hour. Obviously, Lynn bunked you up with her and had also kicked Lucy out for the night.
The night was tranquil, enough to make the tension in Lynn’s bedroom awkward for the both of you. The brunette girl had allowed you to choose which side of the bed you would rather prefer, but your indecisive nature held you back.
Luckily, Lynn came up with a solution and offered to lay on the bed first. With your back against her chest, verified by her lingering desire to be closer to you. It was the right time for the opportunity but Lynn deeply hesitated. She needed to feel the innocent warmth that your body was willing to give to her.
“Good night, Lynn.” You softly yawn, feeling Lynn’s arms enfold around your waist as she pulls you closer into her. Who knew that Lynn was such a softie at heart?
She ponders on pushing the boundaries even further by digging her head into your neck for reassurance. You didn’t pull away from the position, finding it quite soothing to sleep in.
She shuffled, tickling you with her slight movements, and very faintly, she quickly leaned over and kissed your cheek. “Night, beautiful.”
