between silva and lysandre's blogs i do talk a lot about flare as a whole and how they work but i really should talk about anistar more . especially in regards to how that place is . just a cult . it's a 3000 year old cult, still going somewhat strong thanks to the sundial being the center piece, no matter which 'leader' is in power at the time...or even if there's no centralized leader at all. which at the moment there isn't, because olympia doesn't consider herself apart of the wider movement.

The Anistar Sundial is the impact site of the Ultimate Weapon

According to Professor Sycamore, the Sundial has existed for about 3000 years, emits a similar energy to that of Xerneas, Yveltal, and the Weapon, and has a mysterious connection to Mega Stones.

After you upgrade the Mega Ring with the energy from the Sundial (and the box legendary during Geosenge) you can only search for Mega Stones around Kalos while Anistar Sundial is active (8pm-9pm)

I believe that not long after the weapon's blast hit, the infinity energy crystalized into what's now known as the Anistar Sundial.
