Right, but now for the absolute best part - one fluffy Staticquake (double drabble because this one ran away from me just a tiiiiny bit, I love them), coming right up!

seaweed brain - a Staticquake double drabble

"I'm sorry, you want us to reenact what?"

Lincoln's cheeks were already bright pink, but they flushed darker, which Daisy found unexpectedly adorable. "Uh, a kiss."

"An underwater kiss," she clarified, thinking that was a pretty important part he was leaving out.

"Those were my favourite books as a kid, and I always kinda dreamed about having a Percabeth moment with the girl I lo- never mind," he cut himself off hastily, his cheeks reddening even more.

Daisy narrowed her eyes at him, but she let his little slip slide, for now. "Lincoln Campbell," she said instead in her best threatening tone, "are you secretly… a PJO nerd?"

From the way his jaw went slack, followed immediately by his most spectacular blush yet, she knew she had him.

She cackled out loud, shoving both palms against his chest. "Oh my God, you were totally a PJO nerd!"

"Shut up," he groaned, but his eyes were sparkling.

Daisy softened her tone, too. "I think it's sweet," she said sincerely.

His eyes lit up. "So you'll do it?"

She rolled her eyes, but she was smiling as she reached for his hand. "Come on, nerd, we have a pool to get to."
