the chokehold cute and bright kpop concepts have on me right now is interesting 🤔

#it didn’t use to be like this at all! the first group I listened to on my own was fx they definitely do not specialize in this #and after that I casually listened to some bp songs and then Loona who have a pretty diverse discography #like this is just this year? last year too I think #my theory is because these concepts often have uh melodic choruses #drop choruses are very hit or miss for me . with the majority being misses #and they’re just not that common for cure/bright/cheerful concepts #like it doesn’t have to be cute actually I wouldn’t call fromis recent releases or do or not or stuff like that cute #eh. just talking to myself again #t says #my favorite concept as in audio+aesthetics is still elegant/mysterious concepts like butterfly and 4 walls I think though #that’s not changing #yeah just reflecting over myself #and creepy songs and videos! love that! there just hasn’t been a lot of that recently #I think this is why I don’t like a lot of girl crush songs (but evеrglow first for example works for me and that’s still a drop song. #and so what by loona) so nothing is 100% #and I didn’t love chebuІ love so sweet like most gg stans this year did 😔 it’s nice but I don’t really listen to it
