hey guys! my birthday is today! 🎉🤗 happy birthday to me!
with that said, the month of ramadan has also begun so i also wanted to take the time to wish ramadan mubarak to any of you who observe/celebrate during this holy month. i may not be muslim myself but i pray deeply for not only a blessed ramadan but a safe ramadan for all of you, especially those who are currently suffering along the gaza strip and have been for a very long time. palestine, rafah, hamas, many people still being killed every day and they are in desperate need of aid during this invasion, this genocide. many of you have seen these links multiple times over multiple days, and here they are again:
remember to do your daily clicks!
buy eSims for gaza!
donate to UNRWA - United Nations Relief and Works Agency for palestine refugees!
donate to PCRF - Palestine Children's Relief Fund (they've almost reached their campaign goal!)
donate to help gaza children in rafah camps!
donate to help provide feminine hygiene products and kits to many women still in gaza!
check out @fundsforgaza - a rotating list of palestinian family fundraisers to donate to!
click here to send a pre-drafted email to your representatives to call for a ceasefire! very easy!
click here for a nice big list of many other links and resources you can check out to help educate yourself on palestine and even more organizations to donate to!
now, i did not make this post to attempt to "guilt trip" any of my followers, or for reblogs or some form of internet clout or any other stupid reasons. i'm posting this to remind everybody and anybody of what is happening and what will continue to happen if we continue to remain complicit in this. what we CAN continue to do is continue to donate, continue to share and post, continue to stand with our fellow palestinians and gazans and muslims and anybody else still with us through this horrific time in their lives.
🍉🍉🍉 don't get distracted. keep talking. ceasefire now. ramadan mubarak. from the river to the sea palestine will be free! 🍉🍉🍉

I am sorry my friends! ♡
I am still not much for talking so I have not been able to answer asks or get back to everyone’s kind words, but I plan to and thank you from the bottom of my heart ; ;
I thought I would share some fun things from my evening though in case anyone else needed to be cheered up ? ♡
Here are a few of my favorite fragrances and lotions, and my favorite body glitter! (It smells very good, too — a bit like frosting?) I really like using pretty stuff after a long day cus it always brightens my mood so much c:
Sending love, and hugs as always — I hope you have a happy day ~ ! XO

I had this in my drafts from this morning (before The Duffer tweeted about their solidarity with the WGA strike + delayed the filming of Stranger Things) but—just so everyone is aware (or if anyone wants to be more aware of the wider situation):
the WGA isn't the only group of creators contending with a looming strike, as the SAG-AFTRA (aka the actors guild) & DGA (directors guild) are already standing in solidarity with the WGA (on the picket lines, too) and has deadline coming up end of June that, should an arrangement not be met with the AMPTP, will bring nearly the entire industry to a standstill.
like. I know most people don’t know film and TV but if the SAG-AFTRA strikes too, this whole industry shuts down….and considering they’re also arguing for raised minimums and against mini-rooms just like the WGA, this could v quickly turn into a mess.
Given that the SAG-AFTRA is made up of 160,000 actors and performers even before we touch the DGA, its guaranteed that a solid number of your Stranger Things faves are members—especially ones like David and Winona....and The Duffers who are directors too.
Basically: if networks don't start treating creators with the professional respect they deserve across the board, we may very well be in for a very long hiatus even if the WGA sorts out their problems.
bonus: here is a v solid vid on the writers strike context if people want it.
