thank you sm willow!! I’m sorry this took me a hot minute, I got wrapped up in a fic and then i had an archaeology paper to do and I needed to make this the cutest so i hope you like it!!!//

It was a moderately cold night at the beach and Willie was currently cuddling into Alex’s arms, which was simultaneously causing Alex to turn bright red and roll his eyes. He told them a million times to bring a jacket or even borrow one of his jackets when they had been in the studio earlier. Willie just shook their head and defiantly said they weren’t going to get cold because “a hoe never gets cold.” This statement made Luke and Alex stare bug-eyes at them as Julie and Reggie burst into laughter. Alex sighed and shifted his arms to better cover Willie’s bare arms, Willie frowned thinking that Alex was going to move away from him, “Are you cold, Willie?”

“No. I’m just comfortable here,” Willie replied softly, burying his face into Alex’s shoulder. They had been wandering around Los Feliz for a bit, just wanting to be in each other’s presence for a while. Willie insisted they head to the beach, to wiggle their toes beneath the sand and stare out at the horizon as the last bits of sun reflected against the dark waters.

Alex shifted again and made an attempt to take off his sweatshirt to give to Willie insisted they were fine and that Alex would freeze to death. Alex only smirked, “We’re dead already.”

“Exactly, so I can’t get cold either. I’m fine, ‘Lex,” Willie raised a brow and beamed at him. Alex smiled back but narrowed his eyes playfully,

“So you’ll be fine if I move you and stand up?”

Willie made a whimpering noise and gazed up at him with big, puppy dog eyes and Alex knew he had won. When Alex didn’t move, Willie sighed happily and placed himself on Alex’s lap. Alex was unfazed, but still instinctively ran his fingers through Willie’s hair that brushed against his neck. Alex grew up braiding his sister’s hair and now Julie and Willie would find every opportunity to sit on Alex’s lap and have him braid their hair.

Willie continued to look out towards the water, leaning in closer to Alex’s chest while Alex still played with his hair, “Your hair is so soft…”

“You say that every time like it’s a surprise, it's cute.” Willie turned their head slightly, his single gold feather earring shining under the moonlight. Alex hugged him tighter and pressed a kiss to their temple, making Willie giggle which turned into a small yawn.

“Ghosts get tired now too?” Alex questioned.

“Shut up, hotdog,” Willie giggled again. They had been at the beach for God knows how long and Alex though they should probably head to Julie’s studio. Before taking action, Alex thought Willie would be sad again if he moved so he got an idea, “If you get off my lap, I’ll give you a piggyback ride back to Julie’s.”

Before Alex could think or do anything else, Willie was off of his lap regretting it almost immediately. Alex shook his head, pieces of his golden hair falling across his face. Willie tucked them back behind his ears, brushing their thumbs lightly over Alex’s soft skin and giving hima quick peck on the nose. Alex smiled and turned around, crouching down slightly to let Willie climb onto his back.

As soon as Alex started walking, Willie laid their head down against Alex’s back and stared at the night sky. Once they hit the sidewalk, Willie dared him to race the cars on the street, not thinking Alex would really do it. But Alex would do anything for Willie, if it made him smile or giggle that was music to Alex’s ears. So Alex stopped and smirked, knowing Willie wouldn’t see and took off running, trying to keep up with a yellow VW bug. Alex was holding onto Willie’s legs tight enough, so Willie lifted himself up and spread out his arms to feel the breeze against his skin, laughing loudly for several blocks.

They eventually reached Julie’s house, Alex let Willie off his back and they walked towards the studio. Stopping just before they were under the outdoor lights, Willie grabbed Alex’s arm and pointed at the sky, “Shooting star. Make a wish!”

“I don’t need to wish for anything, I already have you,” Alex smiled warmly at the now incredibly flustered Willie. The light barely hit their skin, but Alex still noticed the rose tint creeping onto their nose. Alex brought Willie closer and rested their foreheads together, both closing their eyes and breathing each other in. Alex only hoped Willie knew how much he meant those words and just how much he cared for him.

YOU WISH. we all know how much of a visual kweenie angel zeen is, and we all know how hot gon is (pls the entire fandom has a crush on him) and the two combined?? YOUR FAVS COULD NEVER (unless your favs are zeen and gon uwu) also, just one glance at zeen’s tags just show how much love she harbors for him and i imagine her to be the type to write stuff abt him in a seperate notebook and when gon finds out, he’ll go all out and arrange some romantic candlelight dinner or shit 💖 in other words, they’re the disgustingly sweet couple you’d see in romance anime uwu
