#first link #first linked universe #Hyrule Historia manga #linkeduniverse #I saw the post this is about like four days ago and I am trying SO HARD #not to reblog it with a rant about how the manga is great actually #and how the reason there are inconsistencies with the game lore is because the writers weren't allowed to know much about the game #so they had to work with vague ideas like 'the earliest in the series' #'Link forges the Master Sword' #and 'Loftwings' #and how embracing the flaws and coming up with fanon explanations for it is fun #and how the story is great but limited by its short format #and would have benefited from being expanded into a full-length manga #and how it adds complexity to Hylia that we only get second hand through Zelda in the game #or don't get at all #and it opens up speculation about the pre-skyloft civilization #and! and! and! #but I'm just gonna try to accept one man's trash is another man's blorbo #and move on by instead ranting in the tags of my own post #I actually agree with the poster on a lot of their other LU takes so this especially hurts
