#and if I’m getting too impatient I could use his fraying sanity as an excuse for forward-flashes in the narrative

I'm not only super excited for tbtbh's next chapter, but also for tktw. valtor was so fascinating in the first chapter. are you going to include anything from the 3 years he was looking for bloom?
Okay so, excellent question!! And the answer is yes, BUT. I’m having a bit of an issue. Because timeline wise, the next big plot thing that happens is Sky being captured, used as Diaspro's pawn-king to legitimize her rule, and then his sudden-tragic-and-entirely-natural demise. But I really think that event would benefit from being in Bloom's perspective first, gruesome murder detail later. Because Bloom still hasn’t really processed any of it, and her big trauma-review chapter is still a few chapters away. I feel that this arc would fall a little flat and appear too one-dimensional if Valtor's perspective in Tktw is the only view the audience gets for such a long time.
(Fun fact: in the entire story Bloom (or anyone around her) never states that Sky is dead, she doesn’t even THINK it to herself. The one time anyone says it out loud is in chapter 9, when Valtor taunts her with it, but at that point she's too caught up in her escape-gambit to properly react to that. That shit is buried so deep she'll need an oil drill to get it back.)
So yes, I’m gonna go into more detail on these years, I just gotta determine when.
