he joins a local community group for mothers and at first it’s played for laughs how often they fall to the dead mom curse, but soon we find out more about how society has failed mothers and people who give birth, from information being withheld, procedures being carried out without consent, lack of accommodations and maternal and paternal leave, racism…

it also turns out that becoming a man doesn’t help with this, not really, because being a pregnant trans man brings its own problems. follow along as he learns more about being a parent and a mother, and maybe even… finding love???

I wanted to put the subs in english but i was so tired and sick that i forgot. Anyway.

After a 100 hours of gameplay and re-organizing my dragon age keep, i finaly arrive to this very important scene. When Alistair is all lovey dovey about the warden. I’m playing with the dragon age saga since only 2018, I have seen a lot of edits, gifs etc about them. So, with your help in a certain way, i have decided to start my aventure with Alistair as my first romance. The best decision i ever made. 

When you finaly get to hear those lines for yourself : 

“- No, she left before any of this began. A mission of her own, something personal. We warden don’t live that long. The calling i spoke of, the real one before it went crazy, eventually it kills us. The thing is, when we killed the archdemon... we discovered that might not be as set in stone as we though.

- Happier than i ever dream possible. She’s more than i deserve... And i hope i make her days easier as well. She was rebuilding the wardens in Ferelden, while i hunted darkspawn left over from the blight. It was hard work for both of us, but we always had each other.

How could you not cry ? At least, have tears of joy in your eyes. Look at him. And when you must contact your warden... the letter she wants you to deliver to Alistair is so sweet. It’s so carring and full of love. And the reaction of Alistair ... I cried. Like... their romance is so pure it cured my depression. They are everything to each other. True freaking soulmates. It’s.... i don’t have enough words to express how happy i am, how much i love them. Specialy since they are married and have two kids in my canon. (How ? They just keep trying until it works u know *wink wonk*). The works the voice actors put in those lines, the intonation, the emotions, their own heart into ...in french or in english. I swear to the maker it’s the most beautiful thing i ever heard. Espacialy when Alistair’s voice goes soft, ready to cry because he misses the love of his life. HOW AND WHY ARE YOU NOT REAL ALISTAIR
