im sorry man but im literally just some kid who lives in florida. i also happen to be in a private christian school because just my luck. theyre not teaching me queer history here bud.

what i can tell you is that the first use of the word trans was in 1969 (while transsexual came before it in 1949), and the lesbian was first used in 1732, so people are capable of putting two and two together and calling themselves a trans lesbian. even if they didnt, that doesnt mean they didnt exist, it just had different terms

i dont remember posting anything about marsha p johnson as i know practically nothing about them, but from my understanding they were both a trans woman and a drag queen. and if im wrong, sorry i guess? also i haven't seen every piece of media as you, i didnt see any video footage of this person. i can 100% see a feminine gay man as a real man, i literally just dont know about this person.

Hi!! It’s not rude at all!! Curiosity and willingness to learn is never a bad thing! And I’m happy to answer your question

It’s the Asexual pride flag! Asexuality is typically described as the lack of sexual attraction to anyone, though like all the other identities, it’s a spectrum!

In terms of my Sonic specifically, he’s demisexual ( and demiromantic! ) — which means for him, ( though for different people it can mean something slightly different ), that he doesn’t feel any sexual or romantic attraction to someone until after he’s already gotten to know, and got close with them. Demisexuality is on the asexual spectrum which is why I am using the asexual pride flag.

You may be more familiar with the ace (short for asexual) pride flag being only the bottom four colours, but the top two are added on to specifically show solidarity with poc lgbtq people! Since often times they are excluded and discriminated against even among the lgbtq community. You’ve probably seen many others in the Sonic rpc include the top two colours on their pride flags as well — or add the other variation coloured stripes that works just as well, the one with a black stripe at top and a shade of brown below it like this. The top darker brown/black colour represents black people, and the lighter shade underneath it is to represent the other poc people!

It’s important, always, but especially now, to be explicit in your support for black lgbtq people, to all black people. Also, Marsha P. Johnson, a black trans woman, threw the first brick at stonewall and spent most of her life advocating for lgbt rights. We would not be able to celebrate Pride month without black people.

Be loud and proud about your gender and sexual identity! But ALSO be loud and proud while standing in support for black people. Not just today, not just this month, but every single day.

So we are starting with our unofficial leader, legend Taeyong. This bitch is gay, super duper gay. But in a shy way. Panic gay levels through the roof in fact one of the most panicked idols in the industry if I’m being honest with you.

His reactions to even the slightest bit of flirting from other members is like full catastrophe level “oh shit”. I mean this video is just a tiny piece of how bad Taeyong is.

This boy seems very open minded and like a legend to me and I think he is lowkey open to anything and anyone so I would say he might be like pansexual or something.

Yangyang, confident gay king

Yangyang rose to my top biases pretty quickly after joining NCT and that’s because he is a king. Would never do or say anything to hurt any of his fans and wants to grow to be as openminded and educated as possible. Literally an angel with the cutest face ever. Maybe pansexual but in an idc way like he is just Yangyang and whoever he likes is just based on personality, doesn’t even think about gender.

Would absolutely not call me a slur and would ask questions respectively to grow as a person.

Chenle, purity part one

I do not believe this boy is straight but in a very supportive way. I think he could be anything other than fully straight and I love him for it. Seems like such a bright boy and I wish SM would treat him (and all the foreign members) better. Deserves the world. A pure boy.

Jisung, purity part two and the hidden gay

Okay so I have kept this free of ships so far and I do not personally believe that any ship I talk about is real I just like to analyze certain interactions and I really do believe that Jisung and Chenle have an absolutely precious relationship, whether you choose to see it as platonic or not, they are best buddies and their connection ascends labels in my humble opinion. Definitely soulmates.

On a Jisung personal level I feel like he passes as straight but I really don’t think he is straight at all in fact I believe he is a full blood gay. And a legend too. This boy does NOT get the recognition he deserves at all and is incredible in everyway literally a triple threat at least.

Another rambly time

here’s some GO headcanons I’m not to keen on:

1. Crowley was Raphael, gadreel or any other of the ‘known’ angels. To me this takes away so much from the character as it makes him predestined to be one thing or the other... and it kiiiiinda reduces Crowley (and whatever angel he’s supposedly been) down to a few threadbare traits?

2. Az and/or Crowley turn/get turned mortal at some point. Usually done for angst, but... why would you do that? I don’t see anything to gain from it but pointless wangsting (especially when the fanfic pulls an ‘all just a dream’ deus ex machina at the end)

3. Headcanons that credit Crowley or Az with certain important events. Okay, having either get credited with/take credit for stuff? 100% ok, and canon. Have them accidentally do something that turned into something bigger, like crowley causing the cholera epidemic of 1832? canon. But please, don’t have stuff like ‘crowley threw the first brick at stonewall’ or something.

4. Crowley and Az ARE immune to holy water/hellfire. This is another of those ‘makes them boring by making them too special and invincible’

If you have any of these headcanons, that’s fine, but I’ll be avoiding any fic/prompt/art etc with them like brexiters avoid common sense.

The gig hell im in right now is on another level from my usual gig hell which only usually lasts like 3-5 days per month, this one being a two week gig hell. That’s not even the worst part, the worst part is that it’s a R**** L***** editing gig and they’re doing a series of like progressive lgbt commercials for these rainbow polos and like as far as the game where you manufacture subversive communities as identities to sell, this is like top shelf quality manipulation and by far the most evil thing I’ve ever been hired to take part in. This isn’t just gig hell, it’s like way worse than that, like they had this one guy they interviewed talking about stonewall, and at one point he actually starts getting in to like describing a riot, and so of course I have to remove that, right, but when they asked me to do it, it hits me that they had EVERYONE answer questions about stonewall with the intention of including an answer to the stonewall question, and also with 100% intention to not have the physical act of doing the thing described. I mean that’s a really wild tight rope to walk, I have to imagine there are people out there seriously regretting the move to manufacture a marketable stonewall, it’s an absolute chore to hold together.

Anyway, R**** L***** threw the first brick at stonewall, come to my house and shoot me in the face.

i like to think bridget did See Something but thinks it's sweet (in a "awww, men showing their emotions :') mr oscar holding hands with his nice friend bc he nearly died :')" way, probably not in a "forget storme delarverie, bridget threw the first brick at stonewall" kinda way)

i love that you're bringing this up because i think something really crucial to that scene is oscar's instant paranoia immediately followed by john's "There wasn't a lot to see"... while the kiss is a bit suspect, and obviously their conversation 100% is, that act itself isn't too scandalous or suspicious on its own. and if it's just handholding then like. It's 1883. Nobody cares. Even today, are you really going to judge a guy for holding his friend's hand in his hospital bed.

And so there's this little bit, I think, of drawing attention to the kind of stress that Oscar lives under and the fear of being found out, and the paranoia that he has that we saw come out in 1.08 and that he can't seem to get away from now - and how that is potentially going to cast a shadow over his relationships in the future. And how John is approaching this in a way that is, to John, pragmatic, because he's living within the bounds of his society as best as he can and designing his own live within that and, I think, taking advantage of natural qualities and social circumstances to feel authentic to himself and what he wants without drawing suspicion - a little discretion, but not at the expense of his own happiness. So what if he's holding Oscar's hand when Oscar was beaten half to death by a stranger! That isn't anything noteworthy especially if there aren't already reasons to be suspicious.

Obviously though we the audience know and both John and Oscar know that John is. hmmm. not the most emotionally stable and environment aware man in New York. But still - John is the one firmly and rationally reassuring Oscar, while Oscar can't settle when he knows the truth about his relationship with John, even if whatever is happening would be innocuous between two other men who are good friends but have never been and never will be More.
