3. What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

her quickness to judge comes to mind. she judges pretty much everyone upon meeting them and even if she’s a quiet person i do think she has a tendency to generally think she’s better. she doesn’t even necessarily mean this in a bad way, or at least doesn’t intend it that way, more in a “thank god i don’t act like that/do that/etc” way. this all stems from a fear of embarrassing herself. she’s very self-conscious.

so this leads to underestimation of others, which does somewhat lead to her role in the events of santo ileso blues. stumbling into this mess when she was just answering a fucking ad for a roommate. she honestly probably thought shaundi and pierce just talked big but then see them kill people in their pursuit of anteros and she’s like. um. nevermind.

so all of that is kinda her undoing. her tendency to be quiet doesn’t help either since she struggles to really speak up when it matters. she’s working on it! but it’s hard.

11. What is your OC's weapon of choice? Have they ever actually used it?

baseball bat. she’s not very good w guns since she’s never used them before, but she played sports when she was little so she’s at least familiar w like. how to use a bat. she also wears heels often so she’s not opposed to kicking n stomping on someone. and to answer the second part of the question. she’s gonna have to use it if she wants to survive!!

13. If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?

honestly yeah i think so? there are a few aspects of anteros that were definitely inspired by me or things i do, so i feel like we’d get along. got similar tastes in things. sorry i don’t have a more interesting answer for that one😭

21. Does your OC have any illnesses or disorders? How do they handle it?

i mean. he does have actual brain damage from drowning to death. and the subsequent coma. can’t really come back from those unscathed. the main effects of which have been sleeping issues, severe mood swings, general disorientation (mainly within the first year or so after waking up), and most notably visual/audio hallucinations.

the yacht incident has also given him a fear of being on a boat in open water. not much to say there. when anteros gets panicked or scared he tends to act the opposite of how he usually is, so he gets really quiet and kinda shuts down. struggles to catch his breath. everything kinda tunes out. not great.

“how do they handle it?” um he doesn’t really😭 he doesn’t see anyone about it and explains away a lot of stuff himself. it may not even register to him that he has these issues bc of the yacht incident. in his effort to move on from things he tends to just ignore particularly traumatic events rather than deal w them. but on the other side of that. other events it seems as if he just cannot let go.
