#nothing scares me like the idea of motherhood #this is not about hating children more of like. the thought of being trapped. #there is this idea of what a mother should be and any woman outside of that box is condemned #and beyond that this normalization of women getting saddled with nearly all the childraising even if theyre working full time #and have husbands that are perfectly capable of helping #and ive touched on it before but the pressure on women from BIRTH to have children #and its seen as less of a choice and more of an expectation #and so many women don't realize what they want until its too late and whats done is done #its scary how long it took me to realize having children was a choice and not something that was just part of life and something i had to do #its so horrific #tw child birth #tw mother mention #vicspeaks
