#SCREAMING it’s called the locked tomb series btw #books in order: gideon the ninth > harrow the ninth > nona the ninth > alecto the ninth (currently unreleased) #uhm. it is SO good. might not be everyone’s thing but god the writing is soooo good. #and like. it’s even enriched more if you reread the series. no matter how many times #but god is it heartwrenching #and probably the first time you read it you wont understand some things #but uhm. blorbos!!! #there is also such an enriching world of theory and content in the fanbase!! if that’s your thing #it really is like a worm in your brain. it’s so much #and there is SOOO MUCH LORE but honestly the lore part is optional! like if you don’t understand the lore you’ll still have a hell of a tim #and oh yeah there are also some short books to do with backstory/documentation from other pov #and again those are optional to the main storyline but again. AUGH. #i’ve read the (released) books twice altogether and i’m reading the first one again right now #just everything is so much but in the best way #ahem. yeah #there is a gory element to it btw because of the necromancy (oh yeah the books feature a lot of necromancy i forgot to mention that) #lesbian necromancers! in space!! #anyway. that’s all (no it isn’t). #thank you for bearing with me btw #<3
