best part about royjamie is that they're both in competition of who is the most obsessed with the other and they both aren't accepting second place

The way they're both equally obsessed but it's like. Vastly different. Like for Jamie it's lifelong. It's enduring. Roy Kent always remains. It's all he's ever known and it's part of his identity, so he doesn't recognize how insane or intense it actually is...

Roy on the other hand has only known Jamie for a few years, and he has no idea what to do with that intense, overpowering feeling yet. He doesn't know where to put it!!! He has to create a place for it and to do that he has to carve out a part of himself and it makes him INSANE!!!!!
