It’s always wild to hear things like that. You know some people find women attractive, some people find men attractive — what’s so hard about believing some people find men AND women attractive?? (& non-binary people, tho the people saying this kind of thing probably also don’t acknowledge them either)

i guess ppl who think this way also see men and women as such rigid opposites that being attracted to both seems like a contradiction.

I feel like he WILL be touya bc all the hints and keeping things from us and his motivation make it feel like bad writing if he wasn’t like.... and I don’t think thenmangaka is that bad of a writer.... however I can totally see touya dying right after happening and I do not like that!

I mean him dying is also bad writing but it’s the type of bad writing that bnha might do

yeah, i feel like the dabi=touya thing has been set up so well at this point that if touya turns out to be any other character, that would be a last season of game of thrones-level Bad Plot Twist. (i’ve seen ppl speculate that geten might be touya too but i don’t think his ideology of superpowers/quirks being the most important thing would align with the background of someone who was raised by end*evor, who was also so obsessed with becoming the strongest that he treated his own family like trash for it. if anything, geten might just be there to throw the readers off.)

unfortunately the “reveal the villans backstory after they died and show that their motivations were actually sympathetic the whole time” is a semi-common trope in shonen fiction and i don’t like it.

yeah, thankfully the one time i asked someone to delete a reblog from me they were very understanding. i think they were kinda young and didn’t fully grasp what people are comfortable having reblogged. others are... less reasonable.

Funimation redubbed Sailor Moon a starting a few years ago, and the new English dub isn’t bad at all, and it hasn’t been censored like the old English dub! If you can find it, I recommend watching it!

I like portraying him as strong and gentle, he's big and tall but flusters easily and has a hard time making himself stand out. The best of all worlds

yeah, i usually take that approach too. except maybe i don’t make him as tall as most other ppl do, which is yet another insecurity for me lmao. 

this fandom can also be super judgy when it comes male characters not having certain “manly” physical attributes too. like, i once actually got called out for liking an piece of fanart of nether.lands where he was just drawn with some softer facial features. i was younger then and it was by someone i looked up to, so i was really flustered but thinking back on it now... it was kinda ridiculous.

i actually used to have longer hair before i started cutting it more frequently like 4 years ago. i probably won’t grow it out longer than chin-lenght anyway because longer hair doesn’t work as well for my face. :P

some people did! Turns out, the guy in the video complained about “diversity for brownie points” rather than trying to be honently good, and praised Coco for succeeding. I haven’t seen the video but that’s what I read

so it’s more about how filmmakers will use diversity to get butts in the seats rather than genuinely try to make good stories with characters from demographics that usually don’t get much representation? what a twist.
