hidden message in “paradise”

so, i was in the process of listening to lyric videos for the album when something stopped me in my tracks:

IMMEDIATELY i had to search 42.195; i just had a hunch it was a coordinate... and whaddya know! it sure is:

that, my friends, is the tumen river: spanning across the borders of north korea, china & russia.

“we need to run, we need to step on it / if you shoot a flare” -- the borders, for obvious reasons, are usually guarded, especially along the russian border

“there’s no scenery at all / until your breath comes up to your chin” -- signifying the crossing of the river

now, i don’t think bts is taking a sly dig and nk or anything like that. especially not in this political climate. what i think they’re trying to allude to is unification, allowing everyone to live happily & free, etc; that “paradise” is, essentially, world peace. :)

as an aside, there’s also a film called ‘dooman river’, which knowing bts could very well be what they’re referencing or took inspiration from. sadly all wikipedia has to say about it is this:
