Just admit you're mad that Kid made you look like a fool in front of Azusa!!

HANDHOLDING
I know, I know - it can be explained by Amuro wanting to keep a grip on her in case it's actually Kid, but. I don't care.

May I know your opinion regarding Hiromitsu x Masumi, Rei x Masumi and Kazami x Azusa ships?
I already talked about HiroxMasumi ship here so I'll just address the other two.
Personally, I have no specific feelings towards the MasumixRei ship, I'm indifferent about it. However, I'd still prefer it over the AmuxAzu ship (sorry not sorry :p). But strictly speaking over the MasumixRei ship, I think Sera is still too rash and immature. She genuinely acts like a teenager unlike her cousin Shiho who behaves like an adult. Also, while Rei does not harbour any personal ill feelings towards Sera, he still strongly dislikes Akai which would make a relationship between them so weird and awkward. Yikes! 😬So, yeah these are my thoughts on that ship, not my favourite, but umm maybe??

As for the Kazami and Azusa, I honestly can't form an opinion because their interactions in Zero's Tea Time were quite scarce and they don't have anything in common. Rei working as Amuro in the Cafe doesn't count because it's a fake identity, so I don't know.
I do however, find Kazami's awkward persona around women funny and cute😂
Sorry for taking too long👉🏼👈🏼, if you have any more ships you'd like me to comment on, I'd be more than happy to😄

Can someone explain to me why the Amuro x Azusa ship is sooo popular?
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to throw hate on those who like the ship, but I really want to understand why, at present, it is one of the most popular ship, being the Azusa it is a tertiary character and without story.
Everywhere I go, I see a tsunami of fanarts about this ship. I really want to understand.
Okay, I understand that there are fans who like that Rei is paired with one that gives him peace of mind in his life. But seriously, is that what the ship is based on? Is this aspect what causes so much fanaticism? Or is it just Amuro's immeasurable popularity that automatically makes the first girl close to him ship with him and that causes an explosive popularity of a filler character who is just a waitress, and who doesn't do anything else?
The amazing thing is that this character Azusa, as tertiary as she is, is now one of the most popular characters in the DC fandom, and it's only because she works in the same place as Amuro. Only for that! In fact, unbelievably, in Japan, Azusa has been ahead of characters like Vermouth, among others, in popularity polls. It is implausible.
Yes, only because of her ship with Amuro; ship which I don't understand at all.
Please, the fans of this ship, explain to me what are the central aspects of why you like this ship so much, because I really don't understand it.

Amuro x Azusa, one of my favorite DC ships. ♡ Walking hand in hand from grocery shopping towards the sunset, singing a cute little melody... (´▽`)ノ♪ I redrawed the picture from Pinterest and here's the result. ^_^ It's my first time that I used just Copics for the coloring, so I am rather new with using them. ^^ How do you like it? ^-^

I still think Azusa looks the most like Elena... it's just because of the side part I'm sure, but Gosho was the one who designed them that way!
I'm sure Amuro would be shocked if she dyed her hair blonde...

thanks for sending these to me @angelcherrypie
during Gosho's autograph session:
Gosho said he made Azusa a Kid fan so he could draw her more easily/naturally (outside of Poirot) gosh please do so 🙏
When op said they liked Amuro and Azusa Gosho said "It was great right, That I love you?". op said they were excited and wondered what would happen when the scene was to be animated (the flames, iykyk) Gosho talked about how that had already happened, referring to the museum episode. so, he meant that an "amaz episode" had already been aired? 🤔
Op asked why Amuro used that strategy, why he said "I like you" and Gosho responded with "I wonder why~ *laughs*"

What is your opinion about Amuro x Azusa ship?
I guess I can see where it comes from. They work closely together and share a friendly dynamic with each other. Which all could be spiced up with the "but actually he's a secret double agent" angle of it all.
I wouldn't say I ship it, but I also don't think I'd mind it if I came across it.
You know how it is with some side pairings? You're not going out of your way to seek them out or find ways to put them into your own works, but you don't mind when they happen.

Tooru Amuro/Rei Furuya is overrated.
Okay, here we go with another unpopular opinion. And to begin with, I don't want to say that Amuro is a bad character, but rather that his fame and hype is much greater than what he truly deserves as a character. He is fine, but seriously, two spin offs, leading roles in movies, now his own anime... seriously all the fuss about him?
Even one of the most popular ships in the fandom is Amuro x Azusa, a tertiary character with whom he only works in a coffee shop and that's it. Azusa is only popular because of her nonexistent pairing with the famous and popular Amuro. This is crazy!
Let's see, the first appearance of him is file 793 of the manga, very advanced in the story, and considering that he is not, in himself, an important character or with a role that is indispensable for the development of the story, he is a unpredictable. We were able to be without him for 800 chapters and his absence didn´t change the development of the plot at all.
It must be admitted that his appearance was promising, he seemed like a good guy, but he was in the Black Organization, which gave him a great opportunity to be an interesting and dangerous character, who really had an influence on the development of events. But no, due to his popularity, Gosho preferred to make him a boy from the good side, and for him to be a double spy for the good guys. Yes, another double spy. How many spies are already infiltrated in the Organization? Is he really an important, influential character, who was really indispensable in story? Even his rivalry with Akai, is it really relevant? Wouldn't Akai have been able to develop Akai character or the plot without that issue?
In my humble opinion, and I repeat that it is an opinion, his popularity is not based on how good a character he could be, or how relevant he is to the story, or how useful he is to Conan, but because he he is handsome and cool. It is just that. He is a full-fledged Gary Stu, he is handsome, cool, kind, he knows how to play an electric guitar, he can cook, he fights for justice, he loves his country, and all the Japanese fandom loves him.
And since he is so handsome and cool, they have created a story for him, a past, to continue lengthening the story taking advantage of his popularity, and continue profiting from his figure.
As I said, Amuro isn't that bad, but he isn't that good either. He's just one more double spy, handsome, that Gosho and the anime haven't wanted to let go of because Japanese fangirls love him too much.
