Mini Life Update

I have been MIA for the past God knows how long. Life has been a crazy hectic and I'd be lying if I said I'm back to normalcy cause it won't be😂 Why? Well....

I'm getting married...

I'm graduating

Andd I'm starting a job and moving to a new country

all in the span of 3 months 😂

And no, I promise I'm not kidding. This year has been an amazing, generous one so far and I'm so grateful to be starting all these new chapters in my life.

I'm glad I have a little bit of a break until the craziness starts again so until then, I'll enjoy these few weeks of calm to myself 😁

I do however reeeeeallly miss Detective Conan. Most of all, I wish writing on this platform and sharing news and opinions with all of you. I'm sorry for not answering the questions in my Inbox, I will do better and answer them as soon as I can. I don't even remember what was the last chapter I read from the Manga, nor the last episode I watched 😂 I do know for sure that I been slacking.

I do know the latest movie has been out and I really hope I can watch it soon, even more so I hope I'm not disappointed by the plot 😅

Seeing this alone is giving me chillss... If you have watched it or heard about reviews in Japan, just rate it out of 10 and please no spoilers!! For once I actually want to be surprised and not ask for spoilers 😂

So there's my mini life update. I'll get back on the Detective Conan wagon soon and will share my thoughts and answer questions too!

I'm confused, why are people so focused on Rei selling out Haibara to the organization? He's been told to go after Shinichi. If he wants the organization to trust him and see him in such a great light he will go after him as he was told, no? Honestly I was kinda rooting for it too, think that would've been an interesting turn even if Rei ended up being with the good guys.

Yeah but that's not going to happen because Conan is the protagonist and Gosho has always in a way 'saved' Conan from falling into the BO's clutches. Which is why he made the Kudos ambush Rei in their house and they had a 'tea party', aka the alliance they formed with Rei to get him off Shinichi's back.

Also like I said before, Rei views Conan as a valuable ally. And since he is PSB, there's no way he'd sacrifice a Japanese citizen to the BO like that, especially when Conan is a victim because of the BO.

So yeah, regardless Rei won't come after Haibara or Conan.

I have some news that I have recently heard from Japanese people, saying that ZZT manga will be ending the next week. Not only that, but according to chapter 59, it seems that Rei will quit part-time job in Poirot forever, and he no longer lives as Amuro, then this identity will disappear forever.. in addition this was also hinted in M25 (I've watched the movie by the way)🙄🙄

I guess there is some connection between spin-off manga and the original manga.. which means we won't see the face Amuro Tooru, but only Furuya Rei as well as Bourbon. But the issue here is why he wants to quit Poirot job at this time specifically?? is it a dangerous situation??!! I was wondering about this until I heard from Japanese also that RUM capturing operation will start soon. So, we might see a confrontation b/w PSB VS BO !! Also, there is a possibility of Conan involvement.. Beyond that I want to see Wakita what will be his plans and what he did set up!! Either way, it will be the best series in DC history🔥

So, yes I can confirm that the last chapter for Zero's Tea Time is Chapter 60. I think the chapters were finished by 25th May 2022 and all chapters of the remaining volume will be released by 17th June 2022.

This is the last page of the chapter and Takahiro Arai's message is:

"Thank you for reading and supporting me for the past four years! It's a goodbye for now, but Tooru Amuro's daily life will keep going on. I hope we'll meet again soon."

So for now, yes the manga is complete but no news of another serialisation have been released.

For chapter 59, a post was shared that hints to Amuro quitting. I reblogged it as well).

As for Movie 25, I haven't gotten the chance to watch it, so I'm going to have to take your word for it😅

But if it's true, I'd say it's very likely that Amuro will quit Poirot. I mean I think it's redundant for him to stay for this long. And for no reason. If anything he's risking a lot by being at such a close proximity to RUM who is undercover in the sushi shop next door.

Also about time he gets a character development outside of Poirot. I want new developments surrounding him and the BO, answers about his 'alliance' with Akai and Yusaku, and his future meeting with Haibara. There's so much potential for his plot development outside of 'Poirot'.

Speaking of the 'alliance or tea party' with Yusaku and Akai, I have a feeling that him quitting Poirot could be related to it. Or maybe Rei figured out the sushi guy is RUM 👀 Who knows??

Anywho, yeah I'm all for him quitting Poirot and developing other aspects of his character. I miss the dark, broody, mysterious, powerful Furuya Rei.

I believe someday Kir will be revealed to BO for being a NOC from CIA, and pretty sure she will be killed. And that won't happen until discovering the truth that Akai is still alive, and in my personal opinion, Vermouth will reveal that since she still has doubts on Kir to be traitor. But what about Bourbon? How will he be discovered as a PSB agent? RUM has doubted him to be a traitor who is trying to deceive him, and hinted that in Snowy Mountains case?? Is there any scenario you are thinking of?

Noooo not Kir! She's so precious and is actually such a kind soul🥺 I really hope she won't be killed off especially since now Eisuke will be in the same boat as Shiho wih all his immediate family dead.

With regards to Vermouth suspecting her, if she really wanted to kill her, I think she would have investigated her earlier on and killed her off. However, I don't think she really cares since Kir hasn't personally stood in the way of Vermouth, nor does she have anything to gain from killing her. Also, she doesn't have a grudge against her like she does with Shiho.

Vermouth has also been shown to not always eliminate anyone who is a threat to the BO as long as they're not a direct threat to her.

This is the complete opposite to Gin and the boss who think everyone should be eliminated immediately. And while you may not think this is canon, in movie 20, she expressed concern to Gin when he was willing to kill both Bourbon and Kir when they were only suspected to be NOC and nothing was yet confirmed.

If anyone who's most likely to kill Kir, it's Gin. He's held her at gunpoint before when Akai was suspected to be alive when it was actually Bourbon in disguise.

However, I doubt she'll actually be killed because she has survived so far and she's a valuable link to Conan and the FBI. It would be so frustrating if after all her intense character arc to have her killed in the end, so I'm really hoping Gosho won't kill her off. Also I really like her character so...

As for Bourbon being revealed as a PSB, I think it's bound to happen at some point just before the BO is being taken down. If it happens earlier, it's most likely going to be RUM who'll uncover him especially since Bourbon is working right under RUM's nose who's vibing in the sushi shop next door. I can't predict when this will happen though. However, unless Rei gives up his poirot job, I think he'll be safe, if not forever, then at least for a while longer.
