okay minecraft mob vote is happening again so i once again feel the need to pitch my proposal for a new mob vote system:

every mob vote, 3 new mobs are introduced and given some explanations of what they'll bring to the game, like usual. these 3 are added to a larger pool of potential new mobs that includes all of the losers of previous mob votes (glare, moobloom, blaze guardian, etc).

voters rank their top 3 picks of the entire pool of mobs, and the mob gets points depending on their placement (favorite gets 5 points, second favorite gets 3 points, third favorite gets 1 point, for example).

tally up the votes, 3 mobs with the most points at the end are added into the game. the 3 mobs with the LEAST points are brought back to the drawing board for some revisions based on community feedback before getting added back for the next mob vote. rinse and repeat

i feel like this system would make this whole thing a lot less cutthroat between the community, and get rid of a lot of the frustration and disappointment that comes with your favorite mob potentially never getting added to the game. downside is that it would take longer for them to implement the winners, since it's 3 mobs getting added instead of 1, but the minecraft community needs a lesson in patience anyway
